((Yayz finally some actionism! twisted )

Damion was begining to grow annoyed by the thickness of this crowd. He didn't like large crowds and he was begining to find the concept of phasing into the floor and bypassing the entire lot a bit tempting. He sighed to himself. What are the chances that that would go unnoticed? He settled for ducking into a doorway that apparently, noone had a class with that period. He stopped as someone flew down on the ground in front of him. That's odd... Damion thought. Damion prefered not to be touched and so far everytime someone stuck out in his mind it was because someone had decided to push and shove someone else. (himself in one case.) In any case he made sure to register her face with this event even though, he was sure it would take alot to dispell an entrance like that.

Morgan, by sheer coincidence, happened to be in that corridor as well. Finding a water fountain that worked was never as easy as it seemed. As such, he had witnessed the small scuffle between Lance and Victoria.

Seeing someone be so rough was one of those things that just set Morgan off. Maybe it was a bit of his "hero" persona, maybe it was just the way he was brought up, but he didn't like it. Of course, he didn't dare attack Lancesear such a large crowd. The last thing he needed was to be expelled from school. So, chose the more appropriate route.

"You okay?" he said, walking over the the girl, and offering to help her to her feet.

Elemental blinked watching the two teens arguing, a flash appeared in her blue eyes, as if she knew a large fight was about to happen, Mizu sensing this from his master slipped out of the bag with an evil grin on his face

"You thinking what Im thinking?"

He smirked looking upto Valerie who had meanwhile gotten up from her seated state and had taken to following Lance, Mizu followed the girl his little legs hurried to keep up with Valeries leggy stride. Having caught up somewhat with Lance she bowed her head in a politish manner although she didnt mean it...

"Excuse me for interupting....but what was that all about..."

The blonde asked in a rude fashion with her hands on her hips, her nails flushed blueish with what appeared to be water and gave the impression that her nails were like swirling waves. Valerie blinked again stupidly, wondering if it was the best thing to do...attempting to question a guy who had already pushed a girl to the ground unfazingly.

Mizu had caught up with Valerie by now and was hiding behind her leg, he looked up and noticed the swirl in Valeries nails...and knew this meant something was stirring and the teen would be leading up to use her powers, he smiled cheesily at the male and pulled his left bottom eyelid down and stuck his little blue tounge out in an insulting fashion, unlike his master Mizu didnt truely care who he picked quarrles with.

Walking next to Lance Toad robbed his eyes and half hearty listened to the other teen's problems. Every day he had something to complain about, rather it was food, a person or even how one of the tables in the cafeteria shakes after he had kicked it a year ago. And just as Toad had started to fall back into his strange posture Lance "Patted" him of the back, but the boy didn't know his own strength and the light impact forced Toad to stand straight again. Something he wasn't fond of doing.

Looking ahead Mortimer saw "that Victoria chick" leaning on the wall, it was obvious that Lance didn't see her, and not wanting to make a seen he said nothing. But then the girl had to step out in front of them, for a moment nothing happened but talk turning into arguing. Then Lance shoved passed the girl and continued on, Toad followed, but so did the girl apparently because she appeared in front of the two again.

This time Toad backed off, there was something in the air that said this fight would be more then just words. Without knowing Mortimer crouched down slightly and began to watch the fireworks. When the Victoria girl fell to Lance pushing her, it could be seen that things were only going down hill. Which left Toad the choice of sides, or even if it was right to choose a side to begin with. In the end he decided to go with Lance but if any blood was drawn then he was backing out, maybe.

At this point he didn't care who saw anymore and Mortimer leap forward, bounced off the lockers, kicked off his shoes and landed on the ceiling. He stood upside down so his feet stuck to the ceiling and he face was right in front of Victoria's. "Well hello there." He said to her while rolling up his sleeve and rubbing his arm. Lashing out with his long tongue Toad smacked the boy offering the help the girl away. "I'm having trouble in biology, could you help me?" Toad stopped rubbing his arm and moved his balled fist over Victoria's face, a little resin dripped onto her forehead. "Tell me, what do you think of toads?" With that said he opened his fist...

Oh, he did not just do that, Morgan thought after Toad had struck him with his tongue. With a snap of motion, Morgan was on his feet, and glaring at the mutant currently adhered to the ceiling. He was already trying to do this without having to fight, but Mortimer had thrown the first punch, so to speak. "We can do this two ways, Mortimer. You can either come down from there, or I can knock you down," Morgan said, glaring at the amphibious mutant.

"There's a fight in the hall!" A boy yelled into the classroom Zion happened to be in and she sighed. "Just great..." Getting up she walked into the hall, while others in the class rushed past her, to see Lance, Mortimor, and a few others she didn't recognize. "Oh jeez this won't turn out good." She muttered to herself but didn't act, she just leaned against a locker within sight of the fighting teens.

It was funny to her that no teachers appeared within the next five minutes of people crowding around the fighters. It got to the point where she had to climb atop some lockers and lean back to see what was happening. Don't do anything to harsh you guys... She thought, worry on her face.

Damion had gathered (at least by this point) that there was long-standing tension between these two and that this school was not (entirely) insane. He laughed slightly to himself though he was not at all enjoying this. Isn't it marvelous how trouble just seems to rack me down? Of course he knew he was not realy invited into this fight but from where he stood his escape routes went basically like this: to the right-Large crowd, to the left-large crowd, to the front-A pissed off jock and his mutant freind, and behind him-a locked doorway. He found the doorway the most reisuring. It meant that if he was willing to utilize his abilities he could easily have an escape route in which few people could follow. Suddenly it occured to him that he was tired of standing so in the heat off all the tension, and in plain view of all the people inrolled in this battle royale, Damion sat down.

Standing out in front of the Xavier Institute, Alastair Ramsay, a young runaway dressed in raggedy clothing that threatened to unravel itself from his body with every step he took, stared up in awe at the massive building before him. He had come here looking for a place of refuge after being chased around the streets for the last day after using his gift to help, and had accidently had it backfire on him.

He knew of this place from a meeting a long time ago when he had met Professor Xavier in person as a young boy, but had declined the offer of admittance into the school. After what had happened yesterday though, after accidently killing a man he had only been trying to contain, he needed help. Scratching at his hair, he walked ahead uneasily, not because he was scared, but because he was afraid he was going to walk into a wall of gravity, something that occured in alarming frequency.

Possessing a power known as Gravitakinesis, Alastair had the ability to manipulate the gravitons in the air. Unfortunately, he had the inability to effectively control it, and caused more accidents with it than anything. Sometimes, he would unknowingly concentrate massive amounts of gravity into an area, creating walls or rending himself or others immovable. At other times, he removed gravity, which while amusing, was also a major annoyance to the person who had been trying to walk and was now floating helplessly in the air.

These accidents left the boy with a paranoia of himself, and this was the one of the main reasons he was at the school, to cure that. Scratching at his hair awkwardly, he bit the bullet and walked up the steps to the main doors of the school, and hefted them open. Slipping inside, he shut the doors behind him and stared around, his jaw almost hanging open. He knew it was going to be big from what he saw on the outside, but this was rediculous. He was never going to find who he was looking for. Sighing, he went off at a slow walk, looking for someone who could help him.

A young woman, no older than seventeen, leaned against the wall of Xavier Institute, outside the library. Her long dark brown hair was loose, falling about her thin, pixie-like face, braids and beads scattered about in it, twisted into patterns from her slim, busy hands. Her pale skin emphasized her startling good looks, full lips eternally poised to frown, strange amber eyes reflecting the sad secrets she kept.

She wore neatly pressed slacks of black cotton, smooth against her skin, making light, comforting sounds as she stood and paced for a moment. Her tank was a dark olive, plain except for the decoration of the braided silver chain that hung about her neck. She seemed anxious, her hand reaching into her pocket for a silver lighter, which she flicked open and closed almost habitually.

Heaving a sigh, she glanced around the hall to make sure no one was looking, and opened a window. She drew a long, slim foreign cigarrette from her pants pocket, leaning out into the fresh air and lighting it, drawing in the smoke and casually letting out the breath, the grey cloud quickly drifting apart, images painted in the smoke. Tatiyana's shoulders relaxed. A hypocrite in this manner, she hated the fact that she smoked. It was a stupid habit she'd picked up during her days on the streets, back in Moscow where it was a simple matter for a child to gain access to tobacco. You just had to have the connections. The professor frowned on the use of it, and forbid cigarrettes on campus, but no one was here to see her, and it had been so long.

Not even Louise knew she smoked, and that woman picked up on everything. A small, uncommon smile curved Tatiyana's rose lips, and she let herself relax, inhaling the familiar and addictive substance.

"Excuse me for interrupting....but what was that all about..."

Lance was half-way down the crowded hallway when he was stopped, yet again by another bold faced teen. This time, however, it's wasn't Victoria. It was another girl, roughly the same age, but several inches taller. As first glance, she looked like just another dumb blond, but after she spoke...that confirmed his suspicions.

"Ok, I'll tell you what this is about, blondie," he said, staring the girl in the eye, "that chick wouldn't get out of my face, so I made her get out of my face. And if you don't stop putting your nose where it doesn't belong the same'll happen to you." He gritted his teeth and clenched his fist at his sides. If what he said wasn't enough, the controlled shaking and trembling of the ground beneath then sure would.

----------------------------------------

Am I dead? Sprawled out on the cold and dirty hallway floor, Victoria sure felt like it. Her head was a bit wobbly due to it's impact with the floor and because she had landed on something, her back hurt like hell. Reaching under her back she pulled out the object, realized it was a god-forsaken algbre book, she tossed it away like garbage.

"You okay?"

She looked up at the voice only to see a fellow member of the student body offer her help her to her feet. He didn't look familiar, then again, she was new here so everyone did, but she appreciated his gesture none the less. She smiled and was about to take him up on his offer when...things got a little bit sticky.

Just in front of her, hanging innocently from the ceiling was Lance's friend, the one and only Frog-boy of Bayville. She glared at him as his filthy green face dangled mear inches from her. Those few inches were prised. The stench wafting his persona was bad enough to spoil milk, let alone to rank enough to breath. Sadly, Victoria made the mistake of breathing too deep and had to pay for it by nearly gagging.

Unfortunately, in the moment she spent trying to keep her lunch down, the Toad pulled another trick from out his sleeve, or rather under it. Without warning, he had pulled back his sleeve (the stench increased) and gathered a ball of sticky resin in his fist. Still focused on not retching, Victoria scooted back as far as possible carefully avoiding the resin, when her right hand came in contact with her algebra book. Rolling over to pick it up with both hands, she pulled the book through the air, swinging with the force of major league batter for her target, Toad's face.

For the suprising size of the school, it seemed to be almost empty of life. Glancing up at a clock that hung on the wall, Alastair shrugged, figuring that they were all in classes here or somewhere else, however the operation around here worked. Stuffing his hands in the pockets of his ripped blue jeans, which looked more brown than anything from all of the accumulated dirt, Alastair made his way through the halls, figuring if he made enough noise and continued walking, he was bound to accomplish one of two goals: having someone hear his steps and come to investigate, or eventually just running into another person.

Walking down hall after endless hall, one of his goals was realized, though from the look of the girl, he wasnt too sure he was glad to have found another person. And worse, she was smoking. He wasnt a fan of cigarettes, the smell made him sick, but he needed information and the girl at least had the decency to have opened a window. Decency? doubtful, from the look of this place. Probably trying not to get caught, more like it..

Crossing the empty hall, he cleared his throat before talking so that he wouldnt start off sounding like an idiot, and ran a hand through his hair uneasily. He hadn't been much of a people person, and around girls, its was even more evident. "E..Ello..mah names Alastair Ramsay..Is..do..You Woul'n know ow to get'n touch with Professor Xavier woul' ya?" He asked, his scottish accept coming through heavily. He hated it when it happened, it meant he was nervous.

Tatiyana tensed at the voice behind her, but didn't make any sudden movements. She'd long ago learned not to get defensive when someone approached her; it triggered her powers. Slowly, she stabbed out the butt of the cigarrette on the window sill, turning to address the speaker, and finding she had to look up a bit more than she was accustomed to.

He was obviously foreign, like her, with that strong accent and those gorgeous good looks. She surveyed him for a moment before speaking, noticing his disheveled appearance and dirty clothes.

"I do not make a habit of 'getting in touch' with the Professor, no. But I am sure he could be found, with a bit of effort." Her accent was just as apparent as his, her Russian origins that she made no effort to hide. But her english was perfect, smooth and a touch slow, obviously not the english of a native speaker.

"Oi.." the boy mumbled, sliding his hands out of his jean pockets to put them on his hips while he looked up and down the hallway they stood in, what lead he had thought he found slipping right back through his fingers in the same moment. For a moment, his facial expression seemed like he was going to lose control of himself, but was quickly composed. Looking back to the girl who had not given her name, he sighed and bit at the skin of his bottom lip in annoyance for a moment before speaking up again.

"Coul' ya at the vury leas' poin' meh in the righ' direction?" He asked hopefully, and awaited a response while planning which way to start walking again if she told him no. Of course, it wasnt all that ran through his head. Idly, he wondered what it was that this girl was capable of. She almost had to have been like him, a mutant, to be hanging around this place.

He didnt realize that he was doing it, but his head had tilted to the side a little and he was staring hard at her, trying to decipher her talents without actually bothering to ask her.

Tatiyana let her lips curve upward in what could be called a smile. This boy's antics amused her. And with a wonderful voice like his, she was sure he'd find company here right away. Most of the American girls were a bit shallow.

Considering her words, as always, she noticed his hard stare, and her semblance of a smile fell off her face. She was a mutant. She musn't let herself be distracted by anything, and run the risk of losing control.

"I can. But first, I would like to know the name you belong to, please." Feeling something was not right with the sentence, Tatiyana replayed it in her mind, and she winced at her slaughter of the grammar, quickly correcting it, and hoping it would slip his mind, "I mean to say, what is your name?"

"..A..Alastair..Alastair Ramsay.." He responded with a bit of confusion evident on his face. He had thought that he introduced his name when he had come upon her earlier, but there was always the possibility that he only thought he did. Brushing the thought away, he held out his right hand, directed at her and smiled. "Nice ta meet ya..erm..you ah?"

Glancing down at his shirt, he used his other hand to scratch off a large dirt clump that had attached itself to his shirt, now painfully aware of his attire for the first time in a long while. Way ta go, fool.. He could have at least stolen a decent pair of threads to replace the rags that he had on. He was trying to meet the head of a school for christ's sake, what kind of an impression was he trying to make looking like this?
