The Nine Tailed Witch
Even if you pass away,
even if you die today
Ashlyn frowned once more, but as she did another idea hit her. Looking out across the valley she sat there for a moment. The wind blew softly, ruffling her jet black hair. "Well then how about you?" Ashlyn asked the young witch eyeing Mirai out of the corner of her eye. "For the time being your soul is striped with spots of my own, keeping your fragile soul together. Because of this, you could say that we are resonated. You can tap into the vast power that my family has kept for centuries and bring your father back for just a few minutes," Ashlyn said as she tilted her head down. "So you can have a real good-bye," Ashlyn said, rather solemnly. A small tear trickled down Ashlyn's left eye, a memory of her own father caught in the frail little droplet that stained her cheek. Ashlyn quickly brought her hand up and rubbed her eye with her sleeve. "The choice is yours. Your friends are not here. It is just us witches, and I won't disapprove of your actions," Ashlyn said with a sigh, looking up at the small touch of sky that was visible through the treetops of the valley.

Ashlyn nodded as Mirai spoke. She understood how Mirai felt, and could see how it would feel to bring back her father for only a few moments. But as the young witch looked down towards the ground Ashlyn reached out once more to set a hand on her shoulder. "You only get one shot to tell him how you really feel. After my soul fades from yours only I will be able to bring him back, and it won't be for a family reunion." Ashlyn said truthfully. She wanted to help Mirai but she wouldn't offer her services like this forever. Whether they were both witches or not they were still considered 'enemies'. "I know it's a bit rushed to make you bring him back right after you had to do what you did, but you only have a small window of time left," Ashlyn added, a soft smile on her face. "So what do you say? Let me teach you how to raise the dead?" Ashlyn asked Mirai, one final time.

As Mirai thought it over Ashlyn swung her legs back and forth over the side of the ledge that they were sitting at. They dangled off the edge, her heels chipping into the face of the cliff they were perched on as she waited. Once Mirai finally decided Ashlyn listened. With an excited expression the fox with clapped softly. "Yay, this will be fun," she said as she scooted closer to Mirai. "Okay, so obvisously the first thing you need to do is bring Divine's soul to you," Ashlyn said as she looked out over the valley. "You then need to find a suitable body for the soul to live in," she continued. "However I doubt we will find anything around here suitable for Divine's soul to dwell in without completely breaking under his soul wavelength, so you will have to provide him with your own energy," she stated, bringing her hands out in front of her.
Her blue orb appeared in a flash of light and floated in her palm. The swirling nether inside the blue orb twisted and turned turbulently. Ashlyn closed her eyes for a brief moment and a kishin egg was ejected out from the orb and floated out over the edge of the cliff, suspended in the air. "When you gift a soul your energy, it will gain a corporeal form for a brief time. During this time they will have a translucent like body," Ashlyn said. As she talked she began pouring some of her own energy into the kishin egg. The energy swirled around the soul and began to uniformly create an artificial body for the soul to dwell in. The kishin then seemed to come to life as crimson red eyes flashed out of the eye sockets.
The beast roared and jumped at Ashlyn, intent of killing her, but with a wave of her hand the beast froze in mid air. "Once created you will have full control over their form. However they will continue to remember from where they were last slain, so be cautious until he has fully understood where he is," Ashlyn finished, looking over to Mirai. "Are you ready?"

So, once she began moving her energy into the soul, tiny sparks of purple flames would ignite around her. The more her energy resonated with his soul, the stronger sparks became, until there was a small flash of light. Appearing from within the light, was none other than Divine himself. His entire body was translucent, but only for a brief second, due to his strong soul wavelength, Divine's body was able to temporarily recreate his physical body. Standing there, Divine did not seem surprised to be alive once more, after all, his soul was probably coveted by those who sought out power. However, as he looked around, he would see Mirai standing before him, with the witch Ashlyn right next to her. "Mirai, what is the meaning of this?" he asked as he did not expect Mirai to be the one to resurrect him. ◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊

"You did not answer my question." he stated as he looked even more dominating now that he was dead. "I asked, what is the meaning of this? Just by one glance he knew that this area was quite special, but before he could fully look around, he would hear Mirai's answer. Looking back at his daughter, Divine stood strong and sturdy. "Is that all?" he asked as he recalled how he died and what he said before losing consciousness. Divine sighed, "Goodbye, Mirai." he told her as it seems that he misunderstood what she really wanted to do. ◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊

Of course he didn't know what to say or how to respond to this, he had already made peace with her when he was dying. However, now that he was dead he did not have to put on an act any longer. He was finally free to be the person he was meant to be. Reaching over, Divine would pick Mirai up and place her over his shoulders. "I'm sorry that I wasn't the father that you needed." he told her as for the first time he would treat her like a regular girl, "For what little time I have in this form. I will become your father. Not the demon king or anything else." he stated. ◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊
