If an onlooker paid close attention, they'd notice a faint tingling in their ears as Koras began humming something out of the human range of hearing... though it was well within the hearing range of, say, a Pokemon, especially Zubat...
Misty smirked. "All right, Staryu, start off with Rapid Spin!"
Staryu quickly complied, only for Jet to use Steel Wing to stop it in its tracks, followed by Bite to deal damage to it before tossing the Water-type into the air.
"All right then, Staryu, Water Gun!"
Jet's follow-up attack was quickly ruined by the blast of water than slammed into it, followed shortly by the Zubat being slammed into the platform. Staryu then dove underwater even as Jet struggled to get up.

Misty smirked, thinking this battle was as good as hers... only to notice Koras smirking as well. 'What's he so smug about...?'
She got her answer when Jet finally managed to get to its feet. It took a deep breath, then dipped its head in the water and used Supersonic. Nothing seemed to happen at first, but a few seconds after Jet ended the move and pulled its head out of the water, Staryu resurfaced, the gem in its center cracked, the poor Water-type obviously K.O.'ed, having passed out from the unbelievable pain the water-amplified Supersonic had caused.
Koras just gave Misty a cheeky little grin; sound was his thing, and water could be an even better conductor for sound than air if you played your cards right.

Koras beamed at his girlfriend's praise.
Misty smiled as she recalled her Pokemon. "You did your best, Staryu. Now have a nice long rest." She then smirked to Koras. "You're quite the Trainer, huh? You sure you don't want that date?" she teased.
Koras blushed heavily, but nodded, confirming that he didn't want to date her.
"Fair enough. Go, Goldeen!"
Koras returned his Pokemon, sending out Drago... who promptly began splashing around happily, completely and utterly oblivious to the fact that he was supposed to be battling. Naturally, this caused Koras to facepalm, Misty looking on in amusement. "I take it your Horsea there doesn't get to play around in the water much?" Koras just nodded sheepishly.

After letting the Horsea splash around in the water for a minute or two, Koras cleared his throat, causing Drago to look at him. "Sea?" Koras wordlessly pointed to the Goldeen in front of it, causing Drago to look rather sheepish as it turned to face its fellow Water-type.
Misty smirked. "All right, let's start things up with Supersonic!"
Goldeen complied, only for Drago to glow briefly before zipping out of the way, indicating the use of both Focus Energy and Agility, shortly followed by an Octazooka that blasted Goldeen across the water. As the battle continued, Koras was softly humming a gentle tune, his eyes glowing a faint blue hue as Drago's did the same.
Misty thought quickly as her flying Pokemon approached land - land that it would become completely useless on. "Goldeen, use Water Gun, then follow up with Fury Attack!" The fish complied, squirting at its would-be destination, using the recoil from the Water Gun to get back into the arena and over to Drago before starting to slam its horn into the poor seahorse-like Pokemon repeatedly and without mercy.

Fortunately, Drago soon managed to get in a hit between one strike and the next, firing a Bubblebeam with enough force to push Goldeen up against the ceiling, hammering the fish again and again with bubbles. Eventually, Drago let up on the attack, allowing the now K.O.'ed Pokemon to fall to the ground.
Misty smiled as she returned her Pokemon, Koras leaving Drago out. "Not bad, cutie, not bad at all. However... let's see how you do with this next one, shall we? Go, Starmie!"
Drago blanched and looked a little nervous at the sight of the rather intimidating-looking (at least to it) Starmie.

Drago quickly looked to his trainer for reassurance, Koras smiling to it and giving it an encouraging nod. The Horsea then turned back to its opponent as it got ready for battle...
"All right, Starmie, Water Gun, let's go!"
...Only to immediately get blasted against the wall, knocking it out due to the damage it had gotten from the earlier Fury Attack. Koras winced in sympathy before returning it, sending out Jet again in the hopes it would do better than its friend...
"Water Gun!"
...Nope, nevermind, it got K.O.'ed too. Koras frowned before returning the Zubat and sending out Shellhead, hoping the Accelgor would at least be fast enough to dodge with the limited amount of space it had to attack from.

Misty smirked. "Sorry, cutie, looks like you're going to lose. Starmie, Water Gun!"
However, rather than it hitting like the other two times, Shellhead quickly sidestepped it before firing an Acid Spray at the opponent, which Starmie dove underwater to dodge before resurfacing and firing another Water Gun, which was dodged again. The battle quickly became a question of who would slip up first, neither side giving in.
Then Starmie tried a Tackle, which connected... only for the Water-type to quickly find that the Bug-type had grabbed ahold of it and was steadily draining its energy using Mega Drain. Within a matter of seconds, the Pokemon drooped over, and the Accelgor let go of it, letting the exhausted starfish-like Pokemon flop down onto the platform in defeat.
