winged_sakura_san ~nakuru-chan~ Soul Puppet I was thinkning of being Akabane from Get Backer next holloween though the problem is that I don't have the hat and long coat.....Darn it! I found Some neat stuff on e bay! Fai Flowright Cosplay-  GAAAH! It's so depressing, I'm some fat chick..... crying crying crying I was gonna go on e-bay just now to purchase a costume! for the thing in Japantown, ne Moko and Saku? And Mychasi-chan is going too! YAAY! mehh... I aint pretty neither... And my mom's not letting me cosplay, because people know who I was going to cosplay as, and she said it'd be dangerous... crying Not that I had a staff anyway... -mokona Maybe I'll just make a mokona hat... Hey Iain't slim and pretty niether so it's ok....that's why I wear only baggy mens clothes....just because it just looks better with my some what boyis h hair cut..... xp I'm going to japan town this week to get some stuff including a new cosplay beanie. Just wish my friends would at least better contacting info.... xp

I went to JTAF 3 yesterday...there were quite a few Syaorans (ME!! RAAAAAWR, I'm angry) and I only saw one Sakura-hime. Maybe only one Sakura at all.
Oooh...costume above is pretty.

Oooh...costume above is pretty. that was kind of......suckish.....but hey, now I got crap with Fai-san on it, wings and went to me first con.....*pokepoke*

christmas break not only gave me a digital camera*shine!* but also the motivation to work on my costume some more. for the longest time, all i had was the beading, the plain shirt, and the wig. now i have a completed shirt, pants and a skirt! piccy!

xd Well, you'll have to give on one of those points or you really can't cosplay.
By the by, advice for anyone making their own plushies, Tsubasa or otherwise:
When you sew on the hair, LEAVE AT LEAST A 1/8 INCH SEAM ALLOWANCE BETWEEN THE HEAD AND THE HAIR. Cause if you sew the hair to the hair and then invert it, you'll have perfectly smooth hair on top, which looks a bit unnatural... if you want any hair poking out you sew head to head, which has the potential to leave a bald spot but will look more natural if you measure it right to avoid the baldness. Possible alternative could be sewing hair to head....? Hmm...

Actually I have no idea what I'm doing, I just do a good job pretending that I do. 3nodding Anyhoo, seam allowances is just how much fabric you leave on the outside when you sew a seam. An you need more than usual for plushie heads. And I didn't know that. *mourns the squishy-headed Fai* crying

Love anger? Anger love? Fine line between love and hate? s**t! I foregot to make that KuroFai icon! Ain't much difference bwteen a bridge and a wall.
Anyways, I'll start making sense now. Saku-chan must let us cosplay! Cosplay is necessary to life and pickles, which are synonymous in Fablex's case!
Also, in the Chronicles of the Ill-fated FrankenFai Plushie, I sewed the head together this morning and it looks surprisingly well-shaped, all things considered. Unfortunatley, it also looks like he has a bit of a mullet and some very wierd bangs. Oh well. First-time plushie, what can you expect. sweatdrop
