Vii sipped her drink and studied Skutz trying to discern the nature and depth of his calling, but to her he was nearly scentless, aside from his blatant basis of humanity. Crinkling her nose childishly she mumbled, "You don't smell like a wolf man, or a werewolf, but thank you for the insight. I had no idea." Just then she noticed her newest acquisition approach and offer herself up like a fruit-bearing tree just asking to be picked. The poor thing looked like hell, probably taking her beatings in the Battledome and Vii had to admit she was a little rough on the girl, but only by her request. Leaning over the bar she poured a cold glass of water for Regal, who's face lit up instantly. It hadn't been long enough since her last infusion of Vii's blood, so she would have to heal on her own for now. Returning her attention to Skutz she asked, "have you met Regal?" Her tone gave the impression that she already assumed he hadn't. Sliding lightly to the ground several feet below her she put a hand on her ghoul's shoulder affectionately and then began smoothing her unruly strawberry blond hair carefully removing each battle born tangle.

Ragdoll danced as he spun around on stage happy as he could be.
"hmmm oh i know i know what to sing next come on remus join me on this!"
Ragdoll changed the machine to the sailor song from Toy Box.

I see the angels, I'll lead them to your door... Lightning took a seat on a bar stool, ordering a cup of tea as always. She hadn't had much time to go fight these days, sadly. Maybe after a cup of tea. And some biscotti. Oh, heck, maybe a little conversation would do her some good as well. Anything would do, as long as it made her forget about the headache raging through her mind. ...There's no escape now, no mercy no more.

"Just making sure, sir," she said idly, as she observed Ragdoll's... rather obnoxious behavior. Far be it from her to embarrass herself thus in public, but her hoof shook a little - as if Lt. Jayim was desperately trying not to tap it along to the beat.

The Imperator turned to Ragdoll. "Why would I sing anything from Toy Box? Can't you see I'm trying to enjoy a drink here? Why don't you just sit down and do the same? This Tavern is a place to relax."
EDIT: Remus then turned back to the faun sitting at his table. "Okay then, that's fine too. So how have you been Lieutenant?"

Kaok considered briefly how to answer that question. Truthfully, or otherwise? On the one hand she could tell him all about how miserable she was with her new platoon, how horrible she felt having to order around that mass of idiotic and incapable miscreants.

 [I'm not a bad person...]♠ Chris shuffled back in to where he was sitting earlier. He'd disappeared for a bit, but now he was back, and that was what mattered. "Sorry about that," he said to Remus and Kaokie. "Had to get some things taken care of... did I miss anything?"  ♠ [...I just have bad luck.]

Remus then looked back over to Ragdoll. "Listen, if you're depressed, why don't you just sit down and have a drink to drown your sorrows in? It's much cheaper than therapy."

Maybe if he was lucky, he'd be able to get something to sate his thirst... He glanced between the Emperor and the Lieutenant, the latter seeming fairly glum. "Is everything all right?" Out of the corner of his eye, he spied Lightning. Chris wondered what she was ordering... "Oh," he said abruptly as she addressed them. "Yes, actually... I was rather wondering that, also..." "I don't think I've had the pleasure to meet Regal," Skutz said as he leaned forward to meet the ghoul, "hai." He turned backed to Vii and gave her a weak smile, as to say "everything is ok?" Skutz sat back on the bar stool and took a deep gulp of his drink before retiring to a couch that caught his eye for the past while, to watch the festivities of the tavern.
