lilypotter1234 Lightface mewed, "She's gotten up, but, she seems as hurt as ever." She looked at Minxpaw. She looked at Dragoneyes, and nodded, "You're wound is fine, just try not to open it again." She sat down and licked her paw. "I'll get Minxpaw some fresh-kill!" She mewed, before racing to the fresh-kill pile and grabbing a pitifully small vole. ((I already got her some fresh-kill...))

Smallstar lied down in the corner of the Medicine Cat den with his head on his paw. He didn't want to close his eyes, because the camp was now fussing over Minxpaw. "Everyone, please clear out. Minxpaw needs her space and Lightface needs to do her work." He knew that Minxpaw would not appreciate having everyone around her. "Dragoneyes, go out hunting with Lightpaw and Hazelpaw."

Lightpaw re-entered the camp and dropped her prey onto the freshkill pile. She perked up her ears when she heard her mentor's voice say her name from the medicine cat's den and padded over to see if she was needed.
As soon as she reached it she realized she was much less than needed. Almost every cat was in the den, meowing and fussing. The scene made her a little anxious. It was a bit chaotic. She spotted Hazelpaw and nudged her way through to meet her. When she got to her, Lightpaw gently touched Hazelpaw's shoulder with her tail and beckoned her out of the den.
"Let's give them some room to breathe." She said to her and headed toward the camp entrance for the second time that morning.

Minxpaw flattened her ears at the scene of being offered food. Her bones ached and her tailless rump screamed in agony, the last thing she wanted was all the noise. Unable to rest properly on her haunches, she allowed them to drag on the floor, her upper body more then capable of carrying the surprisingly lighter dead weight. Before her laid the rabbit and vole, both procuring the scent of fresh death as she clamped her mouth on the small field mouse. She was in no mood nor bore no effort to tear large quantities of food and if just breathing gave a small p***k of pain, what would swallowing a whole rabbit do?... As well as the uncomfortable feeling in the next two or three hours because she assumed that you couldn't excrete anything here. But however much pain she was in, she ate the vole fairly quickly before she gazed out from the medicine den with her sense of wanderlust growing by every second. Of course, she was aware of the trepidations in getting to the outside world but the small cramped space reminded her of her own mother, the family of lies but filled with wisdom... She wanted out... She didn't want to think about anything. Not about the twoleggers, her mother, the wild kings. Instead, she wanted to create her own legacy that would surpass any wild beast or outsmart any twolegger. This was no opportunity to grieve for liars... A trait she hated most out of anything else. This was the journey bestowed by fate, to experience a new life metamorphosized by these cats before her. Of course, in her eyes they earned no reverence but at least Minxpaw's gratitude and most importantly, her patience. Already driven wild by her imagination, the boundless kitten complex and that unhealthy amount of determination forced her paws to pull and breathe the fresh air of the new world. To discard her past memories as Hanuli and assimilate her new life as Minxpaw... But she had to admit, she wished she still had a tail.
((Actually... That is the standard size of my posts. It's awkward for me if it's small. >;3 I can show you long.))

((How is she going to get along without her tail balancing her weight?))
Smallstar was getting aggravated with all of the cats in the den. Minxpaw needed air to recover for StarClan's sake!

When Hazelpaw felt Lightpaw's tail, she nodded. "You're right," she mewed. "Smallstar wants us to go hunting anyways." She turned and left the medicine den. In the clearing, she waited for Dragoneyes and Lightpaw.

Dragoneyes nodded at Smallstar, and backed out of the den, giving Minxpaw space.
She looked over at Hazelpaw and Lightpaw. "Come on, we need to go hunting," she meowed at them. Walking over to sit by the entrance to camp, her tail flicked at a fly buzzing around.

((You guys i just read on the first page of the guild that its mid-leafbare. xD I was totally oblivious to that fact. lol Maybe we should start to consider that when we hunt and everything. ^^ ))
Lightpaw bounded out of the camp with Dragoneyes and Hazelpaw beside her but after a few foxlengths she paused to look at Dragoneyes. She wasn't sure where they should go to hunt. Yes it was true that this was an unusually mild leafbare, but still. If they hunted to much in one area they may kill off too much prey leaving them close to none if they had a frost or snow. Starclan forbid . Which is what they needed least of anything right now obviously.

Dragoneyes looked back at Lightpaw. "Should we hunt in one place all the time?" she asked the two apprentices, testing their knowledge and common sense.

((Pirate: Yeah... Uh, I've been posting the fact that it been cold in the beginning of the RP but, no one seemed to heeded to it. So I just gave in. It's alright, better late then never. >;3
Kei: Well, it's not like she can just kill herself right then and there. Actually, I could... But that would be no fun for me. P:< There's only one thing she can do now. Adapt. -Besides, her tail was ripped off but I did mention a nub a couple times. She's now like those stray cats with the little bob tails. So there are cats without tails. *Forgot what they were called*-))
Minxpaw made it to the mouth of the den, plopping down where the icy wind blew the sweet scent of autumn. The delicate pine trees rustling and a thin but diminishing layer of frost glossed the leaves from dew. Small critters often risked their lives to drink the morning dew as it melts, falling victim to the clans. Meanwhile, her ears seemed to absorb the world as well as her own being, feeling refreshed in mind, body and soul. With much regret, she flopped on the floor as her forepaws were still stiff. She chewed at the cobwebs a little, now feeling discomforted by them with a wish to lick her wounds. Remaining like a ball of lump at the entrance of the Medicine den, she remained with her rump towards Smallstar. Minxpaw didn't know how to be grateful, still learning the early stages at the moment. Of course, she felt reckless, stupid and broken... But glad... Ever so glad that she was at least enough of one piece to survive. Her eyes then caught the zenith of the rising dawn as it slowly rose, illuminating the sky and it's warm rays winking the stars to sleep. She sneezed everytime a soft breeze whipped by her nose. From the winds, came a myriad of scents... Heck, it even carried that same horrifying stench of the Doberman still lying dead and it's hot blood frozen with a sheen coat of ice. Minxpaw shuddered, unsure if it was the wind or the thought of that beast and forced herself to lay down... Hoping that the heaviness of sleep would stop her mind from wandering to the corners of the earth while her body remained stranded in the den.

((We don't have pine trees in our territory. We live on a moor...))
Smallstar looked at Minxpaw. "Minxpaw, you need to stop moving until your wounds and muscles heal! It will only lengthen the time you spend inactive." Why did she keep finding the need to move?

Lightpaw's expression changed to utter confusion at Dragoneyes question. She didn't realize at first that she was testing them. She thought she was actually asking them. When she realized that, that didn't make an ounce of sense she changed her expression again as if to state the obvious without saying anything. And the obvious answer was no. They shouldn't hunt in the same place. Even if it wasn't leafbare. If they hunted too much in one area it would be suicidal for the entire clan. And she knew that but she wondered if Hazelpaw did? She looked at her friend curiously.
