"Yes, it was. At most it would've only taken ten years or so." Mala said, thinking back for a moment. More than likely, she was more concerned about Van's well being than her own. Which probably explained part of why she was so quick to dismiss the concequences she could end up facing.

"Don't you dare end up killing yourself for me!" Mala said, giving a light glare of concern. If he ended up dead because of her, she wouldn't be too happy about it.

"While I can't make any promises about what happens in a fight, I can tell you for sure that I don't plan on draining myself of what little life force I have left. At the rate things have been going, I probably can't handle much more anyway."

"I'll...I'll be fine..." Van said, knowing damn well that was about as convincing as a zombie saying he was a vegatarian. "It was okay before, but it really is getting worse now. It's getting to the point where I'm starting to feel physically weaker than usual..." he said averting his eyes, knowing Mala was going to go on a worry rampage.

Mala grew even more concerned. "Oh no! You shouldn't be exherting yourself in that case! No more walking around, no more fighting, no more getting into trouble, no more sex, no more fighting, no more fighting, and no more exherting yourself until you start to feel better!" Mala exclaimed at a hyper pace, growing extremely worried by now.
