Hector stood outside in the courtyard watching as the many birds flew by. The golden circlet that Demitri had given him was in his hands. He was confused and angry, but he couldn't find it in his heart to throw the circlet away. He eyed it meaningfuly and then raised it but never threw it. HE placed it back on his head and continued to watch.

Aeon smiled and she hugged him back, "I'm sorry." she whispered. "I don't want to put you through that again. I should've more careful."

Katherine walked outside to the court yard to see small Hector. She smiled softly seeing him. She had throught about sending him away from here, Llyr was dangerous for now maybe she would think it over she did enjoy haveing him here.

He turned, meaning to go back to his room but to his surprise he saw Katherine there and went into a low bow, as Demitri had intructed him to do whenever he was around her, but the movement only brought back memories of him and a tear rolled down his cheek. "Lady Katherine." he siad softly.

Alastor gave her a kiss and pulled away. "How long do you think it will be until you can move normally again?" He asked, almost wondering if she'd want to head over to the castle for a 'visit'. Cause he knew as long as Aeon was around he could keep control of himself.

Katherine scooped the boy up in her arms. "Its okay. I know people keep seeming to leave us both." She sat down with him in her lap. "Seems little we can do. Don't worry Hector i am not going anywhere."

Hecotr believed her, but his face didn't show it. "I know." he said sadly and looked up at the sky the way Demitri did when he was lost in thought. "Do you-" he began and dropped his gaze to his hands. "Do you love him? I think if you love him enough, he'll come back, right?" he asked nonchalantly.

"Of course i love him Hector." She gave him a warm smile. "Are you going to watch over me while he is gone?" She was still smileing trying to cheer him up.

He smiled at her hearing that she loved th man who was supposed to be his adopted father. He sighed and looked at her still smiling. "Only if you teach me how to use magic." he said throwing his biggest smile on his face.

Katherine laughed alittle. "I will try but i have no clue how to teach it. My power only came to me when i got older than you are now. No one taught i really just knew. I learn more about it everyday." She didn't lie to him she wouldn't. He was her heir until she had her own children.

He looked out and replayed her words alittle. "Okay. But I can only do this." He borught up his hands and put them parallel to each other. The space between them started to warp and flicker. When it finished, a light bright as the sun appeared and disappeared as fast as it came and a ball of light stood in each hand. It was small, barely big enough to cover his whole hand. He stared at each of them and then loked back a Katherine. "WHat do you think they are?" he asked innocently.

"Its your engery." Her purple eyes looked up as she herd a tangleing sound. "Matachi?" She called out and paused. He had been gone a while and it would take him being there to increase her buzz of happyness.
