"Oh Focht, you know I'm just having fun." She giggled softly as a bright blue blurr flashed across the dojo. It moved in such a way and with such speed that it's aura and energy was all blurred and smeered across it's path. It ran straight towards Focht, stopping almost right under him then leaping into the air. It halted itself only inches away from the mutt's face. It screetched loudly as a bright blue flare exploded from it's mouth, Karana the energy being was going to have some fun.

Focht yawns, and seemingly takes the blast. In reality, he hand just moved out of the way and absorbed what energy came his way. He moved back into the same spot again and placed his hand against Karana's chest.

"Um, you might want to just call him off now and leave me be.... I won't promise his return otherwise."

Small tendrils of energy start to be pulled from Karana and absorbed into Focht's hand. He seemed to be waiting for either Karana or Heswina to make a move.

"Karana...I do believe he's trying to drain you...return the favor." Heswina laughed as she disapeared into a bright pillar of light. Karana did infact return the favor. A large ammount of energy was suddenly pushed into Focht's body. A quick severment of the tie with the animal and a sudden recoil of Karana's own energy created a vacuum of emptiness. Since the link with Karana was severed Focht's energy was forced to fill the emptiness. As Focht's energy filled the void the link rebuilt itself and a large emptiness appeared in Karana's body. Focht's energy rushed through the link and into Karana's body. Focht's energy would continue to siphon until either the animal died, or the link was severed.

Shadowwolf's eyes began flickering between gold, black, red, blue, and green. As they did he looked at the two beings in a different way with each shift of perspective. As his eyes returned to the gold laced with red he nodded quietly to himself.

Karana's nonexistant face would have been smileing right at that exact moment. Any energy, whether it be negative, unholy, holy, possitive, corrupted, blighted, tainted, alternating, ANY type of energy was food for this energy creature. His bright blue body turned a soft black color before returning to it's bright blue. A large blade formed from it's right hand. It's voice was odd and sounded like it had been passed through a blender, "I am Karana...the warrior of energy, your attempts are futile. Halt your actions or I will kill you." His other hand formed into a long cylinder shaped tube.

"All can die, it's just a matter of how and when. For you it will be by my hands and very shortly." Karana nodded his head as he brought the blade up and slashed down at Focht, the energy connections he had shared with the animal were severed almost immediately.

Focht raises an eye brow as the blade connects exactly as planned by Karana. Another Focht appears behind where Heswina had been sitting and sighs as the one struck by the blade vanishes in a cloud of dust that was the remaining particals from the stone.

".... how can you touch something that can move faster than you react?"

Focht had just tested his new speed and was very pleased with Lady's work so far. He smiles and looks up to Karana.

".... and I would advise Heswina not think about touching my mind....."

Wolf's eye was on Focht as he moved and although the motions were blurred he was pleased to see that although Focht had been blurry it wasn't inperceptible in this new form. Still it would take Karia to keep up completely and the rest of them would have to use thier extra senses and reactions to match it. Things would be interesting for them all at last. Even as they continued thier hunt.
