Ophiuchus Reddemon Okay, And can anyone help me think of a reason the Inquisituion would tamper with their geen seed so they lost the territoralness of their "father" chapter What chapter are you using as a basis? And I take it you're making an inqusitorial force, and will be using Grey Knight allies? Im using the Space wolf list. Some of their fluff is going to be based off their rules during some chapter on chapter training with the Dark angels, one of them was accidently killed. No I probly wont be using Grey knights

So they really needed the strong ones to stop having the gene seed go crap at a crucial time?

-Mykal They needed every person, so thats why they dislike the DA

During a particular battle, Leman Russ allowed his rage get the better of him, and wound up in a fist fight with the Primarch of the Dark Angels. The feud was started when a local planetary Governor personally insulted Leman Russ and called him a coward. Enraged, Leman Russ stormed the battlements. Lion El'Johnson wishing to bombard the fortress also wished a swift end to the fighting. Unfortunately for Leman Russ, the Dark Angels reached the governor first with Lion El'Johnson beheading the traitorous leader. Witnessing this for himself, Leman Russ became so outraged that he struck Lion square in the jaw. This began a fight which lasted for many, many hours. Suddenly Leman began laughing for he saw how childish and futile this fighting was. Lion, thinking Leman was mocking him, hit him one last time with his power fist knocking Leman unconsious. Recent events may finally have led to an end to the rivalry, though it is still customary for selected champions from both sides to engage in a (usually) non-lethal duel.
Space marine chapters must submit samples of their gene seed to the inquistion for testin. Chapters that refuse are declared Excomunicate Traitoris and are purged. They would not tamper with the gene seed but the Mechanicus might as a test to do just what you are asking.

thats the official reasonin behind the Space Wolves and the Dark Angels fighting each other. But I think this doesnt take place with Inquistitorial units included in the army

Im still going to use the accidental killing of one of the chapters members. But Ive decided to place my chapter upon a half and half death world. Half ice and snow, the other half would make a Catachan feel right at home
