Denial can be quite strong in some. In fact, the circumstances surrounding mine and Quortek's friendship involved his mother's denial. Unlike "he who shall not be named", though, she denied her maternity. One would think giving birth to someone would make their relationship to you absolute, jhal to this very day, she insists she has no son. rolleyes I would pity her were it not so despicably pathetic. stare Rilu'oh, I suppose I should not bear her such ill will with how everything worked out as a result of it in the end.
I think anyone with sense would realize the twins' parentage was different upon seeing their horns... or do they not have horns? confused Admittedly, I have not seen them myself for quite a few years. sweatdrop Jhal, I have seen more of yathrin's child than I would like and he has a set of horns now, so knowing that he and the twins share a father, I assumed...

Shakes her head at Ryzan's story about Tes's mother. It never surprises her when no matter what place she's in, even other planets, there is just not enough equality for those who love.

Since Gunter was out on the hunt for Anira's costume, Hauk only had to deal with Thing 1 as he heard Kat recently calling them and didn't have much abuse as last time. It seemed after the glitter fiasco yesterday Sergio was more focused on being TOP NOTCH today which worked juuuuuuuust fine for him. ninja Once he was in costume and makeup he went to go top off his coffee. Then made his way to the courtroom to settle in his seat since according to the new script he would just be idle on the side. Also, just fine with this. There was a reason he was out of the spotlight and if it weren't for Anira he wouldn't be involved in this again. He sees Lia and Ryzan talking and seeing her jump about he wondered what they were talking about that would get her all riled up already this damn early in the day. neutral

She stubbed out the clove before entering the courtroom set. The updated script had been given to her earlier, and while she had been thoroughly enjoying the previous scene, she supposed it'd be best to get this wrapped up quickly.
As she sat down, she absently felt for the sword out of habit now and glanced around the room. Her dreams had been weird last night, visions of her protecting Psy and the twins had her feeling odd once she had woken up in the morning. She had even considered leaving the sword in her room, but at the last minute, she looped the belt about her waist, because it felt odd to not have it on her person.
"I think I need to pin one of those demons down and find out what exactly is going on with this weapon," she muttered to herself as she arranged her skirt before crossing her legs.

*Notices that the cast is starting to gather in the courtroom. Tucks the script into his pocket, then takes a careful drink of water. After recapping the bottle, he gets up and walks into the courtroom, taking a seat near the front and off to the side. His part in this appears to be fairly simple. Wait for Vassnta to be changed into Taus, then apprehend the Terrorist before he escapes. The next step is to ask the Red Queen what should be done with him ...Wait, a minute! -Taus- is the one -she- had the affair with! The one who they're saying sired the twins! emotion_donotwant ...He quickly scans over the courtroom ninja looking for this SOB, but doesn't see him in the gathering crowd. Uncapping his water bottle, he takes a careful sip and then ponders as to how this is all going to play out.* emotion_donotwant

Walks into the courtroom to do a double check making sure everyone is dressed to perfection and makeup is perfect. Last thing he wants is the fiasco yesterday of Katana's disco ball face. stare
Sergio sees Mr. Dougherty and immediately notices he is NOT using a straw despite his explicit directions and warnings about his precarious position. Thanks to how thorough Antonio Pavani is that clause in the actors legal contracts about where liabilities lie was totally a smart call. Because at this rate, he wouldn't doubt it if this guy had to be hospitalized after filming.
Taking a straw out of the inside pocket of his designer fur collared jacked, he angrily plunks a straw in the man's bottled water. mad He just glares pointedly at the man. This is the man that ******** up his Oscar nomination for his "star quality" performance in the last scene and it's been scrapped. So much for fame and fortune. stare Don't you go crying to Sergio when you end up in the emergency room, Mr. Man! talk2hand He walks away going from actor to actor giving them the once over inspection.

Having had her breakfast and tea Anira went to where Hauk was sitting to take her place on his shoulder. Upon entering she sees Kat and smiles at her as she comes up. Good Morning Katana. Are you feeling more refreshed from yesterday?

The merciless attorney in him was tempted to have Ayami sign a contract right then and there while she seemed so enthused about it. Most people don't bother to read first, and even if they did, he was so fluent in legalese that he could easily obscure just about anything from the average layman. ninja However, with her being a dear friend of his sister, the fallout from her discovering the truth after being trapped into it could be rather dire. Franco may be The Don, but Antonio feared Triny's wrath far more sweatdrop
"Well, before you agree, I must inform you that this side film The Don has in mind is of a rather... intimate nature."
He tried several times over the past couple of days to figure out a way to word this delicately, but it proved rather difficult without being flat out manipulative, which again normally wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the hell he knew Triny could make his life if he crossed her by crossing her friends emotion_facepalm Maybe it would be for the best to put it as clearly and bluntly as possible.

Since she hadn't accepted the fresh latte, he decided to pull the hand carrying it back toward himself to help lessen the chance of her throwing it in his face after that proposal. sweatdrop

With Kyle right behind her, she enters the courtroom…latte in hand. She notices many people present already and is happy that FINALLY people are starting to show some professionalism with this little filming venture. She grins as she sees Sergio flitting around checking to ensure everyone's "look" is perfect because yesterday's s**t show just isn't going to be tolerated. talk2hand
She grins sweetly at Hauk, Anira and Kat as she passes by and says a brief "Good Morning" to them. She then does the same to Lia and Ryzan before heading to her throne to have a seat. Even Antonio is here chatting with Ayami. Well, well…this is promising to be a productive day. biggrin
She sips her latte as Kyle leans over holding his ipad for her to see and points to some more quick edits to the new script. She gets out her cheaters and nods as she notes the changes. emotion_eyebrow She then scans the room…just a few more missing.
