Nina thrusted her hand forward and blocked the beam. At first the beam did nothing but spark and defuse off her skin. But as she smirked at her feat it started to get painful. Nina jumped back and held her wrist. She let out a stream of swears and curses, looking at her hand. "Mental note, powers do not make you invincible." She said, her hand icing over to cool her burn. "but, they do help." She smiled, getting an idea.

"Oh damn! That smarts!" she shouted out, trying to bait Revenant into shooting at her again.

Nina held her hands in front of her and quickly formed a shield of crystal. The beams of energy were deflected and Nina ha hopped she'd be able to redirect it back at Revenant but the shield would be shattered with one swing of Revenants weapon. Nina jumped back and dodged a second swing, she created mini-shields to deflect the beams but didn't have time to make a big one like before. "Dang it." she said, having to change her strategy.

Nina dodged each swipe and blade with only millimeters of room to spare. She had to concentrate just to keep up with him. She knew she had the power to beat Revenant, the problem was she didn't know how to use it. Nina managed to get an opportunity to jump away from him, giving her some space. She had to think quick. Her eyes were drawn to Revenants crystal for a moment before he was on top of her again forcing her back into dodging. 'There has to be something' she thought. She then remembered she still had forge, but she'd need to get away from Revenant again in order to get it. 'That might work' she thought with a smile.

Nina took her chance to get Forge out while Revenant changed back to using a scythe. She gripped the handle of the magical hammer. "Bring it on! I can keep this up just as long as you can!" She said, though honestly she didn't know how long she could really go. As Revenant charged she got ready, she knew she'd only have one shot. She'd have to dodge the first swing and get in close before he could swing back.

After the strike Nina jumped back. She held her head for a moment as she tried to figure out what she heard. "W, what was that?" she mumbled. Her thoughts were cut short as Revenant growled at her. She got ready expecting an attack only to watch him transform into a colossal monster that loomed over her. Nina took a step back, smiling a bit. She felt like she had an advantage now, he was as big as the gods and she was able to beat them.

She did a quick look around the area before looking up at him, her mind formulating a different plan. She needed to get that crystal out of his head and the best way to do that would be to knock him down and cut it out. She spun her scythe around and pointed it behind her. She cocked it back and fired a burst shot, propelling her across the sand at incredible speeds.

Nina watched him continue to change, she thought he'd still be vulnerable while transforming. But there was too much space between them, by the time she was close enough he had finished changing and had already started his attack again. She jumped to the side as a beam was shot at her. "Damn it." She said, having to launch her self around to dodge the beams of energy. They slowly managed to force her back away from Revenant. When she had the chance she'd push forward only to have a beam stop her in her tracks. "Damn it." She growled, going back to dodging. She looked at Revenant when ever she could, trying to think of what she could do. She smiled some as she saw the crystal was an easy to cut off spot. The problem was she needed to get close. She'd have to shift her attention to the spheres if she wanted to get any closer.

Nina took the cease fire from the orbs as her chance to attack them. With her speed she was able to easily destroy them all. But they had only distracted her. She looked back to Revenant in time for him to make his announcement before moving the energy to the beast mouth and firing it. "s**t!" Nina shouted. She didn't have time to dodge a wave beam of this size, she was going to have to block. She summoned up a crystal shield and braced her scythe against it.

The wave hit her defense. The shield was stattered and Nina was thrown back. She hit the ground with had thud and bounced off. After a couple more bounces she landed on her feet and panted. "s-son of a b***h." She wheezed. She got up and gripped her scythe. She turned her scythe around and got ready to charge. She cocked it back and fired. The end of the scythe exploded, sending her tumbling forward as chunks of metal were scattered. The main mass of the blade was sent hurtling forward, embedding in the ground in front of Revenant.
