((He- ah. Nevermind.))
The demon flitted through the crowd, his knife and deft hands slitting the strings of the purses of those he came across. An explosion of white flour and noise drew him close, and Farfarello aquired not only sixteen new purses as well as an empty sack to hold it all in; after all, that merchant wouldn't be needing it anymore. Suspecting that he'd "raised" enough to appease Hashmal, the demon shuffled his way through the crowd towards the Draon, nicking as much money as he could on the way.

Deep, deep underground--on the opposite side of the continent, as Perrault--stood Ephlas. His brow met with anger, and dripped sweat. Most of his hair had been scorched away by the fire. A rock had crushed his left hand. It was useless, now.
"Arceadus Nomandu Sriblata!" he chanted, quickly, and with power reverberated through his voice. "Die, fiend!"
The ground beneath Ephlas shook terribly. Suddenly, it burst at a single point, and out of the newly-formed chasm came a great beast. With ice-white eyes and a gaping, dark maw, it lunged at Ephlas's foe, snarling and attacking. The great dragon formed completely of crystal-hard stone was nigh indestructible--yet, with a wave of one huge and powerful limb, formed of darkness and shadow, pillars of rock came from above, below, and either side to pin it by the neck.
The stone dragon writhed and shrieked, but--it could not release itself from this vice. Soon, the pillars descended downward, with a shrieking dragon taken with them. Eventually, the pillars met ground, and the dragon was folded on itself as its body was forced down, down into the fiery depths of hell. But this powerful entity was not done. With a flick of a finger, a huge gush of wind--solidified, into blades--bore down upon Ephlas.
Again using ancient language, and the Signs, Ephlas yelled, "Horrinsata Bel Viarcaturos! Nomansepta Rii!" This caused the air around him to condense into water, and then rapidly freeze into a solid sphere. This process continued until the icy shield was nearly five yards thick. The wind-blades cracked it deeply, but it held. This then rolled down a rocky slope and launched at Ephlas's foe.
Then, a lone rock, sharpened by magic, was shot like a bullet through the sphere of ice. Following the penetration and exit of the sphere by the shard of rock, blood came.

"My good friend, the Grand Bishop," Remedius simply replied. He approached the crystal, then gave it a sweeping bow. "My good friend."
Helenne approached the crystal, holding one hand against her chest. "He's... in here?" she asked, awed.
~
Tanessa struggled to get up. With a last-ditch effort, she pushed Cedric out of the clearing, throwing him--with some magical help--into a pile of bushes.
~
Myrrelda snickered, but dove off the side of the pit wall.
"Relationship?" Remido echoed. "The Luac admire the elves, that's all."
As they continued down the slope, beginning to pass multitudes of people, now, Remido eventually pointed at a building coming up on their right. "This is the cafe," he said. "The tea is poetic."

"RIME FAL CHORUS! RIME FAL CHORUS! RIME FAL CHORAGOS!" Irwin cried, raising wall after wall of ice to halt the advancing monsters. "HELP! I only know Ice spells!"
Then, from above, a vial dropped and exploded int the midst of the mandragoras. Above was Ne'Galash striving to keep aloft with Clem Ent upon his back. "I am having troubless with thiss, human!" "Just stay in the air Nesk! We can't get into their range!"
(forgotten characters ex machina!)
---
Hashmal watched as the demon returned, "hopefully this will gain me a greatblade..."

((Wait, so Clem and Ne'Galash are suddenly flying over the forest without even waiting for Ephlas to return, dropping explosive vials on the Mandragoras... when they were, just now, deep inside of an ancient city on the other side of the continent? Hm.
From this, I am assuming that you really, REALLY want Irwin to live, SPI, my dear friend, so let me just tell you so you'll calm yourself; they aren't going to die at the hands of the Mandragoras. Please, calm your scientific wrath.))
-----
The lone figure on the other side of the mages was able to be identified, now; a boy, dressed in forest elements, his untidy hair colored maroon. The boy ran on all four of his limbs like a beast as he rushed past the mages, shattered through Irwin's ice walls and met the Mandragoras in battle. The boy's fighting mostly involved jumping on the Mandragora's heads and causing them to hit eachother, but it was effective enough to distract all of them, giving the mages a chance to either flee and aid the wild child in combat.
-----
Ralendine's mouth hung open, his face twisted with confusion as the crystal's surface gleamed and made it's prisoner's body apparent. Inside the crystal stood the Grand Bishop, clad in extravagant dark armor and a red cape, trapped eternally in it's flowing grace. In his hand, frozen in time, he held a small stone, colored gold and glowing radiantly from inside the crystal.
"Why is he inside this crystal?" the Duke started doling out the questions, "What happened? What is he holding? Is that... a Royal Artifact?!"
-----
Perrault looked at the building, amazed at it's beautiful appearance. Then again, everything in Halbrontr was beautiful; from it's buildings, to it's people... down to the weeds that grew in the city's courtyards. As though compelled by the delicious smell of tea to enter the cafe, Perrault wandered inside.

Clem and the Nesk are in Sunclipse, with Dakon. They're fighting flying Horde, last I checked. They can't go into the desert, but they can fly... they'll just need help from the Sandgliders.))

Tanessa stared at Dasher incredulously. "You can't be serious," she intoned.
~
Remedius' expression curved up into a smile. But then he frowned and shouted, "DON'T TOUCH!!!"
After this echoed throughout the cavern for a few minutes or so, the green-haired magus explained calmly, that the protective magics on the crystal would attack anyone who touched them. There was a way to unleash the Grand Bishop... only, Remedius just didn't know how.
~
Smiling, Remido followed Perrault and sat down at one of the many tables. When asked, Remido ordered three glasses of their finest tea, and gave his own order of food as well. The server glanced at Perrault, then sweetly asked him a similar question.
The cafe held a large variety of food.
((Que you and your topsy-turvy magicks to unlock the crystal, or whatever. xd ))

((Not yet, not yet. wink ))
The boy was currently exchanging growls and snorts with one of the Mandragoras. It seemed that he could speak their language... but several others among the Mandragoras were closing in on him.
-----
Perrault grinned.
"Uhh, n-nothing for me, thanks..." he said as he played with the silverware set in front of him.
Looking up at Remido with a solemn expression on his face, the elf began to ask questions.
"So..." he started, "What is Halbrontr? What do you do here?"
-----
Ralendine's hand jolted back on it's own, as though intimidated by Remedius' shouting.
"What do you mean you don't know how to release him?!" he growled, "You bring us here in vain?! This is just... just a... a wild goose chase?!"
The Duke was furious... Furious enough to kill.
