*sheepish grin* IRL commision. I asked if there was any chance I could get a Kyunu as part of the commish & it was a yes since the shop is closed, gaia wise. Of course she's on certs for the new Elderspark pets 'cause Paper no longer likes her old art. xp Normally I'd only tell in a PM... but since we're the only two who visit here anymore it's the same difference, isn't it?
Have you checked out her new Pala? Very cute. Story is they're merged Kyunru, Kunkun, & Ieldi together.

How much did she charge for the commission? I've wanted a gryphon hybrid Kyunru since the moment I stumbled onto the first art contest she held years ago. gonk
And I'm going to have to re-think my ElderSpark avoidance policy, if it involves the old pets. *Clings* At last, it has happened! crying

O_o You can't actually delete DA accounts... even banned & frozen accounts are still there somewhere. Haven't checked to see if she's updated recently but... Paperghost DAChecked... 'new' journal entry from 3 April has commisions still closed. Probably 'cause she's not done with the ones she has just yet.

Didn't even know about DA as a site til I came back after Timex' death. Just hadn't paid attention. That's how I found out Rasu actually had *gasp*--a life besides Kyendi. xd She had some drawings of RP characters and such, but then she took them down.

The Wandering Lady .Kyendi/Conversion FAQ.
1] What the heck is Kyendi? o__O.
Well, my friend, Kyendi is the name of an old shop that first started.. ooohh.. I'd say about November of 2003. Yes, it's -that- old. It started as a shop for the kyunru, then we introduced the kun-kuns and the shop was renamed Kyunkunru (it's a mouthful I know). A while after that, the Ieldi were created and the shop evolved into Kyendi.
2] Ok.. if it's so old, why haven't I heard of it?
Most likely because the shop has been closed for a while now. I have no idea how popular the shop was at its peak (Paper is oblivious like that) so it may have flown under your radar while it was open? ^^a
3] Oh! I remember Kyendi. It was pretty cool, why did it close?
I have trouble answering this question openly, cause the real reasons are extremely personal. If you really want to know, ask me and maybe I'll explain it to you.
4] I guess I respect that.. Wait a minute! Kyendi was owned by La Karasu~! You're totally STEALING!!
^^;; lol. Paperghost=La Karasu~. I changed my name after coming back from months of Gaia hiatus because that name, La Karasu~, seriously invoked some unpleasant memories. I wanted a fresh start, but I never once lied about or hid who I was. Though I do feel badly for not keeping in touch with some of the friends I once had..
5] Yeah yeah, I'm not interested in a sob story.

6] Right. So I have a kyunru/kun-kun.. where does that leave me?
All of the above are welcome here. In fact, I encourage owners who were attached to their Kyendi pets to come and make a home here again. I'll even be moving the Kyendi Village into the guild after a bit of an update to the old village image.
5] What about me, I have an Ieldi that never grew up?
As far as the Ieldi, it is probably safe to assume that all of them are adults by now. That includes the Ieldi that were never summoned. You're free to bring them to ElderSpark and even RP them as your main characters. I'll even do a sketch of your Ieldi for free as a personal apology for never allowing the shop to realize its full potential. Please remember, all Ieldi owners were refunded in full, so I do not want to see any "You owe me lots of art!!" PMs. Any further questions regarding the Ieldi should be addressed via PM to this account.
6] Will there ever be more kun-kuns/kyunru/ieldi?
Maybe.. I don't think they will be making regular appearances. At the moment the only way I'd be willing to do any of the above is by real money commissions.
7] Oh! What about the Pantheon?? Those were some sexy beasts!
Yes.. yes they were. First and foremost I would like to say that the Pantheon -all- belonged to the Kyendi shop. What I mean by that is they were never meant to be 'owned' in the traditional sense. They were supposed to be figureheads of Kyendi, thus they needed to be ever present-- which didn't always agree with people's activity. The Pantheon were originally intended to be the driving force behind the Kyendi storyline and centermost in the actual physical development of the Kyunru (this was never implemented). As time passed, some of the gods passed hands, and I know that may cause some confusion if their consorts come around again. So. I'll say this, and I expect people to abide by it. The Pantheon DID NOT belong to any one person. I -may- decide to assign permanent consorts to them if I am so inclined... but I haven't made up my mind on that yet. I'll put the Pantheon in the Owner's posting, and list the people who are allowed to RP them- ie their 'consorts'. If I decide that the Pantheon will play a major role in ElderSpark, I will notify all past consorts before assigning new ones. Any further issues regarding the Pantheon should be addressed via PM to this account.
8] That's cool and all.. but I frickin' want one! Will you be making any new ones?
Perhaps... Actually there's a good chance I will, since I love the character designs of the original Pantheon so much. No details yet on how I'll be choosing consorts though.
9] On a different note- What's this conversion thing I hear about?
Basically what it is, is a process which 'transforms' a kun-kun/kyunru/ieldi into a Pala... though I'm not sure I expect to see many Ieldi go this route. X3
10] Sounds nifty.. How does it work?

11] So I don't get any fancy art when my pet changes?
Not really. The pet being converted will be displayed in your tag using the old art until the baby Pala art is finished. At that point, I just switch the old for the new, and voila~! Converted. It's a religuous experience. Really.
12] I'm not really interested in keeping my Kyendi pet anymore, but I do know someone who'd make a good owner. Can I transfer ownership?
I'm only allowing this for kun-kuns and kyunru. If you'd like to contact me about transfering ownership, please PM the shop account and we'll work something out. Please note, I will not retag old pets. I will only note the transfer on the second page (where I will keep a list of active/semi-active Kyendi pet owners). What's the point if you don't get new tags? RPing right basically, and also keep in mind that the new owner now has the opportunity to try for a conversion- which would then get them new tags.
13] I don't like the art for my kun-kun/kyunru anymore... Will you do new art for me? Or even just put the old art in the spiffy new Pala tags?
*sigh* I know.. I cringe when I see my old art too. However. I will not do new art for free, and the only way you're gonna get me to do it is with real money. Cause I'm broke. And unless you're getting a conversion, I won't retag your pet either.
14] Why're you being so mean!!?!??

I.. sorta have a bad habit of letting people take advantage of my good nature (and I always end up overworked because of it), so I need to draw the line somewhere. Personally, I hate tagging and it just stresses me out when I have to do a lot of it. Please don't stress me out, I'm already getting gray hairs and I'm only 21! x~X
