"Mmm... Kon likes blue! The... it's royal blue, right?" he murmured, hoping he had the name of the color right. "THe one that's not too dark but not light... kinda near purple, but not?" he explained, looking a little frustrated at his inability to be sure of anything in human.

Ryu laughed gently, not in any way mocking. "Yes- you are exactly right." He lead Kon up to a spotswear store. "Here we are..." He opened the door and let Kon enter in fornt of him. ((sorry- i will be in and out for a little while- trying to eat^^))

Kon entered and looked around himself with interest. He had never been inside a sports store before, although he had seen them sometimes. There was just so much... stuff all around that he felt completely overwhelmed. Turning slightly to get a better view around himself, he gaped. "It's... it's really big," he said. There were kayaks hanging from the ceiling, something which seemed to utterly confuse him.

" Over here...." he murmured as he gently tugged Kon in the dirction of the swimwear. They now stood in front of racks of swimwear. "Do you know what size you are?"

Kon shook his head. He had never had the nerve to go shopping by himself - he had done it a couple times with Rina, but she had done pretty much everything. "Nn-nn... Kon makes most of his own clothes," he murmured, fidgitting with the hem of his shirt in agitation. Size... size... well... "Well... Kon... Kon is small... that's what people say..." he murmured, gestering with his hands just how short and skinny he was.

"Yes, you are right...A small should fit you just right." Ryu walked down the racks, scanning for the section where the smalls would be found. A few minutes later he found the needed section, then retrieved Kon and brought him to the rack. " Pick out any one you like from this rack." He said with a smile.

Kon followed Ryu and then stared down at the rack for a moment before he began to examin each. After a few moments and murmured, looking slightly confused, "The... the material is... weird..." He turned back to the rack and continued until he found one with a color and deseign he liked. Once found, he took it out with minimal difficulty and held it up for the other to see, smiling triumphantly.

He was just too cute for his own good and he could see why Rina ( sweatdrop that's her name, right?) would be very protective over him. "That one looks great." He lead Kon to the register, paid for the garment, then gave it back to Kon. As they left the store, he asked "So, are you ready to learn?"

Nolas Kotoro looked down at the seemingly younger boy with a looked asking 'What the hell are you talking about?' Oliver looked to be so.. troubled all of a sudden. Much different than his previous curious manner. "Can't say that I did, kid," he said, looking up and down the alley before his gaze returned to the other. "Why? You hearing things now?" Oliver shook his head and ran a hand distractedly through deep, navy locks. "I, um... " He then realized just how dumb that question probably made him look. Not wanting to give away that he wasn't precisely human, Oliver shuffled a foot and decided he should try to imitate responses he'd seen other humans do. Taking a step back, with all seriousness, Oliver attempted to imitate a rather ghetto boy.
"Brother, puh-lease. I just be chillin."

Kotoro's features scrunched into one of skepticism. Or rather.. loss. Where did that come from of all things? Yes.. Oliver had to have been one of the strangest boys he had ever encountered thus far. The red-headed man took a long look at that earnest expression before suddenly bursting into laughter. His mask of passive serenity had been currently removed in the face of this smaller male.
"What the hell?" he said through his laughter. He had to bend over, unable to hold his sides for the bags in his hands.

Oliver was seriously confused, unable to understand that his previous expression may have been a cliche of ghetto-speaking. Why was the other in front of him laughing so heartily? A slender hand reached up to pull the goggles from his fair face and he then watched the other double over in laughter.
What was so funny?
He tried to smile as he inquired, "I say something funny?"

Kotoro rested his butt against the brick wall of the dank alley as his laughter died down a little. A grin remained stretched across his lips as he shook his head in amusement. "I guess you could say that," he said, the hint of laughter still playing in his tone. He was on the verge of tears. For some reason, seeing this small, white, goggle-wearing boy in front of him imitate the 'ghetto' slang entertained him beyond what he would imagine it to.
"Please tell me you weren't serious."

Oliver somewhat picked up on the fact that maybe he shouldn't have responded that way and took a hint from Kotoro's answer.
"Um... No," he lied, "I wasn't." Unsure what else to say, exactly, maybe it was time for an introduction. A open-faced hand went out toward Kotoro.
"You can call me Oliver."

Having by now recovered himself, the red-head piled the bag holding his snack cakes into his opposite arm. He reached out and took the offered hand into his newly empty one. "I'm Kotoro," he said, giving the hand a short, firm shake before pulling away.
"Now.. what was this about you being indebted to me?" he asked. Of course, he didn't actually expect any sort of life debt. He wasn't even very serious about the other owing him anything, No. He wasn't even aware that Oliver was anything but a human.

Oliver wasn't accustomed to really meeting people, but he'd seen the act done often enough to understand what a handshake meant.
Aaaand back to that subject, he'd almost hoped the other would've forgotten. "Oh. That. Yeah..." he recalled a little uncertainly. Could this be settled like it would between two humans? He wondered.
"I have an idea, Kotoro. Why don't we..." he stepped a closer to the other in the alleyway. "Go back to your 'home.' And I can fulfill my little debt there..." Oliver murmured, turning on a little siren charm as he came close enough to breath the exhalations of his new acquaintance.
