nospai and nelo's star wars edits <-- click!there is a number of edits being sold here, so anyone who has previously made any star wars edits, please check in here to see if u have become a victim. sweatdrop
the following is what i posted in their shop on my own behalf.shocktv3 nospai deathous & nelowulf,
i can understand if u feel there is a shortage of star wars edits here on gaia, but this does not mean that u are allowed to take other peoples' work for ur own use. no, they are not just similar-looking or recolors. the clone troopers here are just blatant retracings of mine (helmets, pose, and blaster), and u have taken my darth maul edits and chopped them up for reselling. u can see all this by comparing ur samples and my edits down below.
i do not care about any profits that u have made to this point. it is more of a matter about using my work without asking permission or even contacting me about buying any of my stuff. i do not want any more problems like this over what i have worked hard to creat so please stop using ur ripoffs of my work, or i will forced to report this art thievery to a mod.

 Not much else to say.... took an image off his customer samples to check and see if I was just imagining things. *shrug* Five seconds with a smudge tool and well. Yeah. Aaaand my server breaks five seconds after this post. FEH!

much luv to kiddo & juneberry for backin me up in that thread! xd heart heart i have already suggested my solution to them, so the ball is in their court. hopefully all will b settled with minimum commotion from here on out...
n yea lucca, i cant speak for anyone else, but i fear the culprit(s) may have taken bits n pieces from several existing star wars edits here on gaia.
the silver lining to this storm cloud could b that it validates all of our edits as quality? sweatdrop

ok, unless u have been absolutely victimized by the star wars culprits, i am asking u to keep from posting in that thread.. i have stated my request to the artist in charge there, and i await his response. i dont need his emotional friends to escalate matters.

Out of respect to schock, I won't post my rantings in the topic, but that guy is really pissing me off. Therefore, I'm going to post my would-be response here just so I can get it off my chest. stressed
Sir, you are not making any sense at all. You are obviously upset, which is understandable, but shock is not asking you to take down every item in your shop, but only the ones that are copies of his edits. As the co-owner of this shop you have a responsibility to uphold the rules of gaia, and to respect Shock's rights as an artist. He wants those edits (and only those edits) to be taken down and they should be. There's no need for you to be freaking out about taking down every edit in your shop. His are the only ones with which there is an issue. The others, therefore can stay. Duh.
And speaking of responsibility, it's not our duty to berate your friend over the phone or through emails. (You should not be giving out his number over the internet, btw. You have no idea who could see that information. gonk ) Also, he is co-owner of this shop and should therefore frequent it to see comments and questions within the topic. You don't have to answer for him; he should answer for himself. He should at least simply remove those edits if you can't do that yourself.
Ok. I guess I feel better. I'd like to beat that guy over the head with what I just said, though. I just....I wanna shake him until he listenes to reason. domokun lol

*sits back and munches popcorn* Next on the Gaian Drama Channel - all drama, all the time - Emotional Gaians that don't know how to solve a situation easily!
I think it might be time to call in moderator support on this one Shock. All he's doing is mouthing off right now and it's going to escalate into a full-fledged war as he dumps every little thing on us. Seems to me that he's jealous that some people get attention via being good editors, ie Shock, and now it's backfiring on him. But yeah, this needs to be shut down and unfortunately, we tried and can't do it. I'm an admin on another forum, bout 2,000 people, and this is the kind of situation we take care of because it's out of member hands.
In the meantime, that thread needs to be stayed waaaay away from. Shock, my offer of helping to get together evidence stands. Keep us posted?

yea, i saw his latest edited post last nite.. im not even gonna respond to it. im just waitin for his friend, nospai deathous, to reply or just take the copied work down. he's apparently the sole culprit there.
tho why his buddy is gettin bent outta shape escapes me.. it really wouldnt surprise me if its just a mule of his. sweatdrop
ive already let a mod know of the situation, but i told them to hold off for now. if things escalate, i was told to send in an official reporting, with our evidence.

well, ive been keepin an eye on things from every possible angle.. n it seems the raging has ceased cuz now all parties know the truth of the thievery. its just a matter of nos deathous takin my copied work down from the thread.

shocktv3 this is what i have reported to the official mods.shocktv3 avatar edit theft..... my edits have been copied/straced/stolen and are being sold at this one thread. evidence has been provided about all this starting from the 14th post (mine on the 13th page) & the 2nd post (of the 14th page) by myself & kiddo the fox-phoenix's posts. versions of both my clone troopers & my darth maul edits are being sold in this thread. u can see them in the first post of this thread and in the example left by Kiddo the fox-phoenix. to see the comparison, please look at my first post in the 13th & the 2nd post on the 14th page. every following post in the thread could also help with the situation. here is my first post in the thread: shocktv3 nospai deathous & nelowulf,
