Shadow nodded, calmer now that Trinity was safe and he was out of that net. "I'm fine; a little shaken up, but fine," he assured her soothingly before glancing over at the stranger, rather wary despite the fact that he'd helped - this man's aura was even darker and more twisted than his own.
The stranger nodded curtly, eyes still strangely devoid of emotion even as his Absol returned to his side. "You're welcome. You'll want to be more careful in the future when you travel in public; team Rocket's been working on weapons like your boyfriend there for a while now, so they're going to send all the resources they can spare to reclaim him. It's only because Hunter here sensed your imminent capture that I got here in time to help," he told Trinity curtly.
Shadow bristled slightly, narrowing his eyes. "I am nobody's weapon," he growled.
The stranger smirked slightly at that, folding his arms. "Only because you were rescued before they finished conditioning you. If you want to stay 'nobody's weapon', you'll want to be more on your guard from now on - probably work on honing your Aura abilities, too."
Hunter gave his friend and trainer an exasperated look - really, he knew the importance of warning the guy, but it could've been done a little more nicely. That's what he got for hanging out with a literal sociopath, he supposed.

Trinity nodded while holding on to Shadow's paw, "Thank you for the information and again for saving us. Come on, Shadow. We better get back to the others. I want to check on them." She said tugging at his paw. She was worried that if he Team Rocket grunts were after Shadow than they are going after Bobby. "We'll see able training harder tomorrow." Trinity said fearful.

The stranger nodded again. "If you're ever in Hoenn and need some help, ask for Dusk Kozorra - I'll see what I can do to help out." He allowed himself another smirk, more foxlike this time, before turning and starting to walk off, adding over his shoulder, "Us Shadow Projects need to stick together, after all."
Shadow's gaze snapped over to Dusk in shock, just in time to see a hint of black fur before the strange Trainer and his Absol vanished. He stared a moment longer, then shook his head to clear it, the same thoughts about Bobby occurring to him as well. "Come on, let's go." He picked Trinity up bridal-style - he was faster than her, after all - and hurried back to check on Bobby.
Fortunately, it didn't seem there was anything to worry about; true, there were a couple of grunts outside their room (considerably less than had been sent after Shadow), but they were both out cold and covered in some rather painful-looking bruises and bite marks, no indication that they'd even managed to make it into the doorway. The cause of said marks was rather obvious - Aero was looking just a bit too self-satisfied, and honestly, the bites were way too big to be from any of the other Pokémon.
Inside the room, Bobby looked up from where he'd been playing with Saph, having apparently been completely oblivious to the fact that Aero had saved him from being attacked and recaptured. "Oh, hey guys. How'd the date go? Me 'n Saph have been having lots of fun, though I think Aero hurt himself or something - there was this noise out in the hallway a moment ago, and then he came back in with a bit of blood on his lip. Must've healed quickly, though, 'cause I didn't find any wounds when I looked." He then tilted his head, examining Shadow and Trinity a little more carefully. "You guys look a little tired... you okay there?"
...There was innocent, and then there was oblivious. Apparently Bobby tended to fluctuate between the two.

Quickly, Trinity was over by Aero looking him over then checking each and everyone of her pokemon. "Sorry, our date was lovely though a bad ending. Nothing bad happened?" She asked picking up Saph then looking over bobby like he was her younger brother now. Trinity was worried now from the warning the other gave them. Trinity looked to Shadow, "Shadow, what are we going to do?" She asked not knowing if she should worry the others by tell them or go on as they have been.

Aero gave a reassuring grin that had a distinct hint of "you should see the other guy"... well, either that or "oh, the bloodstains aren't from me".
Shadow sighed softly. "Stay on the move and keep on our guard, I suppose; I think that's all we can do, aside from extra training," he admitted reluctantly; he wasn't particularly fond of the idea of being harassed by Team Rocket.
Bobby looked between them, frowning slightly in puzzlement; he may not have had the slightest clue what they were talking about, but he could definitely catch on to their worry. "I get the distinct impression I'm missing something..." Cue deadpan stare from a certain Aerodactyl, indicating that Bobby was the only one in the room besides Saph who was "missing something", as he so eloquently put it; Aero had already put two and two together and figured out that the others had been attacked, too.

Trinity smiled softly to Bobby, "It's fine, let's all just get to sleep ok?" She directed the last part to Shadow. She gave Saph back to Bobby. Saph yawned before curling in to his shell in Bobby's arms. Torch, Jet and Aster found comfortable spots on the couch. Trinity got out a rag to clean up Aero and got him a pillow to sleep with.
Trinity then changed in to her pajamas and crawled in to the other bed. The other bed was for Bobby. She patted the other side of the bed for Shadow. She was tired after what she been through that day.

Shadow complied, getting in next to his girlfriend and getting to sleep, even as Bobby and Aero similarly got to sleep.

The next morning, Shadow woke up first, turning bright-red as he realized the position he was in: specifically, pressed against Trinity VERY intimately, chest-to-chest and crotch-to-crotch; on top of that, there was a familiar tingly feeling between his legs...
Needless to say, he quickly got out of bed (though he was careful not to wake Trinity) and bolted for the bathroom. I leave the rest to the imagination.
Anyway, once Shadow had, ah, calmed down, he exited to see Bobby poking at one of Trinity's Pokéballs relentlessly. Between that and the thoughtful look on his and Aero's faces... "Thinking of becoming a Trainer?"
Bobby started, but relaxed at the sound of Shadow's voice. "Yeah, I was thinking Pokémon battles looked fun. 'Sides, if I can get some of these red storey-ball-things, I can keep more fossil friends around!"
Shadow stifled a smirk at Bobby's childlike enthusiasm and nodded. "From what I understand, you need two things to be a Trainer - a Pokédex and a starting Pokémon. You've already got Aero for your starting Pokémon, you just need to capture him, but as for the Pokédex, you'll probably have to ask Trinity; she can probably contact Professor Oak for one or something."
Bobby looked put out at that, but nevertheless nodded again before looking slightly... hesitant? "So, uh, humans being interested in Pokémon and vice-versa... is that common?"
Shadow quirked an eyebrow. "Well, not common, no, but it's not unusual. According to Professor Oak, some humans' brains are simply built in such a way that they prefer Pokémon to their own kind, and as for Pokémon... well, we're not exactly picky in terms of species. During my stay with Oak, I once walked in on some sort of giant blue Pokémon and a small pink feline - that was rather scarring." He then smirked as he noticed a hint of relief in Bobby's expression. "Why? Have a species in mind?"
Bobby turned bright-red. "Er... well, I wouldn't say no if I found a nice enough human girl, but... there was this one white Pokémon with green hair I saw a while back - she was so beautiful and graceful... and there was this other one with long ears, she was really pretty too... there were others, but those were the main two..." he mumbled, looking down at his feet shyly.
Shadow managed to maintain a straight face with Herculean effort, though inwardly he was laughing his furry tail off - according to Professor Oak, Gardevoir and Lopunny, among other feminine Pokémon, had been the source of many a boy's conversion to Poképhilia, including Bobby's, apparently. It was a wonder half the population didn't have bunny ears or psychic pow...ers...
...Actually, come to think of it, weren't there a bunch of psychics throughout the regions? Like that Sabrina chick Oak had mentioned? ...Huh. Anyway... "I think I know the Pokémon you're talking about. They're called Gardevoir and Lopunny - their base forms are called Ralts and Buneary, I believe."

(Fact 1: Gardevoir is the most used female Pokémon for Poképhilia on the internet (at least as far as I can tell - might be tied with Lopunny).
Fact 2: Teenage guys are hormonal as heck (and some don't leave the teenager stage libido-wise).
Fact 3: The Pokémon world (in which most trainers seem to be pre-teens to early teens) has so many psychic people that they have their own trainer class.
...Food for thought. Just saying. twisted )

(And you don't think girls don't look at Gallade or Blaziken? I sur ehave ^///^)

Trinity was enjoying her dream, Shadow was being so nice and caring. He touched her in all the right places making her warm and wet. Then he left and she was cold. She slowly woke up. She saw Shadow, Aero and Bobby talking and Bobby was poking one of her pokeballs.
"What are you guys talking about?" She asked sitting up tiredly. "And why are you out of bed?" Trinity whined childishly to Shadow. She took away her pokeballs out of Bobby's way before tossing him an empty one to play with.

Shadow smiled faintly as he turned to his girlfriend, leaning over slightly to kiss her and pretending not to notice the definite scent between her legs. "I needed to use the bathroom and didn't want to wake you; I was planning on coming right back, but I got distracted talking to Bobby." He heard the sound of a Pokéball beeping to signal capture, and didn't even have to look to know that Bobby had just captured Aero. "As for what we were talking about, apparently Bobby wants to become a Trainer and happens to have a healthy interest in female Pokémon." Left unsaid was that it certainly couldn't hurt to have a second trainer in the group.
"I've decided to go with Rex as a name, now, actually; sounds a lot cooler," the newly renamed Rex interjected happily even as he let his new Starter back out... though he was blushing a little due to Shadow so bluntly mentioning his preference in partners.

(True, but Blaziken doesn't leave possible proof of Poképhilia scattered all over the regions. xd Anyway, up to you whether you want to pair Bobby with a Pokémon or a human or nobody at all, just figured I'd give the option. Has to be humanoid and meet my minimum standard of attractiveness, however. xd )

( Lopunny Delphox Gardevoir Or a fossil pokemon)

Trinity blinked looking over to Rex, "Wow really? Well I guess I'll have to call Oak for a pokedex for him. Maybe more pokeballs for you." SHe tilted her head, "And you are interested in pokemon sexually too? Maybe we can see about you getting a fossil girlfriend." She said teasing him. She got up and changed. She returned all of her pokemon but Shadow. "So let's get something to eat and call Oak then shop for Rex. After that, I need to train my team for the battle on the gym in town." Trinity explained the plans for the day.

(Fossil Pokémon generally do not meet the aforementioned minimum standard of attractiveness without drastic alterations. Plus, he's going to specialize in them anyway, so unless you want to go to the trouble of make a human/Fossil hybrid or a completely new human-ish-looking Fossil, it's probably best for him to have at least one non-fossil Pokémon - after all, most Rock-types are tough on paper and in the anime, not so much on a type matchup sheet. xd
As for the other options, Delphox or Gardevoir is probably best from a purely practical standpoint (kind of hard to tell what your partner wants if you can't understand them - Psychics can use telepathy, which solves that problem), but other than that...
...
...
...GAH! I CAN'T DECIDE!!! crying (Seriously though, you can pick which one you want to do, I'm not THAT picky.))

Rex blushed even harder at Trinity's teasing, but interestingly enough, he didn't say no to her little offer of getting him a girlfriend. Still, he seemed pretty excited about getting to be a trainer, and Aero seemed to agree.
Shadow chuckled slightly at the expression on Rex's face before nodding, instinctively slipping his hand into Trinity's own. "Sounds like a good idea to me." Besides, Rex could probably use a girlfriend, if only to keep him from hurting himself via his own naiveté.

Trinity smiled at Shadow when he slipped his paw in to her hand before looking to Rex, "Ok Let's go then." She said leading them over to the café of the pokecenter. She let out her other pokemon before just ordering a mix of food. She was sure to get everyone's preference. Saph happily ate some pokefood while the others enjoyed some human food. Trinity bit in to her pancakes. She looked at Rex, "So Bunneary, Ralts or Fenniken for him?" She asked her boyfriend smiling. "And trust me, they will be willing to love him." She said

Shadow considered the question carefully as he ate. "Well, he sounded as if he wasn't too picky, so no need to worry too much about the aesthetic aspect..." he mused, thinking it through - it wasn't as if he'd have paid more than passing attention to that anyway, he wasn't shallow like that.
First came the emotional factors. Rex's would-be girlfriend needed to be able to communicate properly with him, so Buneary was out - the odds of finding one capable of speaking English wasn't worth the effort. However, Gardevoir and Delphox were both Psychic-types, and therefore capable of some degree of telepathy. Also, not only was the Ralts line outright empathic, but according to the research Oak had let him look at every now and then Gardevoir were loyal protectors - all the better to save Rex when his clueless and naive nature inevitably led him into trouble.
Then came the combat statistics. Battle style and type were the main ones that had to be taken into consideration: Delphox shared two weaknesses with the Rock-type fossils Rex enjoyed - Water and Ground - while Gardevoir shared only one weakness - Steel. On top of that, if Rex's actions during their rescue of him and his general personality were any indication, he probably had an aggressive hit-hard-and-fast battle style. According to those stat charts he'd studied back at the lab, Gardevoir had more mental power to back up that sort of style than Delphox did, albeit slightly less physical power and speed - not that the former statistic mattered for those particular two species, since they almost never used physical attacks anyway.
"Ralts," he decided after a moment more of weighing all the pros and cons. "Definitely Ralts." ...He still preferred Trinity, though.
Rex remained oblivious to their conversation, eating his breakfast happily.

(Just a thought... why don't you give the Ralts a unique backstory, personality, identifying trait, and/or coloration to really make her stand out? After all, since she's going to be a main character, she should probably have something to distinguish her from other Ralts/Kirlia/Gardevoir, even if it's just an accessory like Shadow's bandana. Again, just a thought - I'm perfectly fine either way.)

(( maybe a Shiny? tough i think I want her horn things and chest piece to be purple.))

Trinity thought about it and told him, "Ok, I'll give my dad a call after I call oak for a pokedex for Rex. Though, I don't think we'll get Rex's girlfriend that easily." The trainer was going to be looking out for anyhting that Rex would be interested in but it's also a side project when she has other things to worry about. Like Team Rocket still coming after Rex and Shadow.

((I think the Ralts will be an experiment that Team Rocket has. I'll see about making it happen in another town/city))

(Sounds good to me on all counts.)

Shadow nodded. "Sounds like a plan," he agreed before glancing over at Rex. "So, if you're going to be a Trainer, are you going to take the Pokémon League Challenge?" At the blank stare he received in return, Shadow patiently explained the gist of it to him.
Rex considered it a moment, having already finished eating, then shook his head. "Nah, I think I'll wait 'till the next region - I only have Aero right now, anyway, n' backtracking to that Pewter place just so I could get my first badge would probably take more time than we need," he reasoned in a surprisingly mature mann - "'Sides, that gives more time for training! Training's fun!" - nope, never mind, flash of maturity's gone.

Aura Arsenal (Sub-Perk of Stable Aura): Due to his Aura's new stability, Shadow is now capable of manipulating his Aura, creating Aura-based attacks that do not take up moveslots. Should Stable Aura be lost or otherwise made void, this perk will be disabled as well. Techniques:
- Aura Flare: Shadow flares his aura, dispelling binding/anti-escape moves (Bind, Whirlpool, Mean Look, etc.) and knocking away nearby opponents. Direct damage is negligible, however.
