Speaking of Pokeballs, Shiloh would be forced to realize he had a problem. The boy had two eggs, though the first had hatched, and only one PokeBall between them. The last Larvesta's ball wouldn't work on this one, and because it was a miracle of the Arena and not the will of the Academy, he hadn't been provided with the supplies. He'd have a decision to make....or have to do his best to get a new ball before his egg hatched.
In the meantime the boy was being ignored by a Vannilite that appeared to be....eating itself? Well that couldn't be good.
This time, his trainer calling out to him caused Shinx to stir and awaken, and with a woozy blink Shinx lifts his head. He's hurt, but not so much that he can't stand or take it what's going on around him. So, gingerly rising to his paws, he looks first towards the Lapras charging up another Dragon Pulse. Shaking off the sleep and ignoring the pain, Shinx scampers out of the way of the attack fairly easily, and takes to getting back this proper lady for her offenses to his person with not need for prompting from Poppy. Charging towards the Lapras, he makes for another attempt at a Night Slash!

">We have graced you with our presence, yet you can sit neither still nor remain roused. Disgraceful! Utterly disgraceful!<" The Lapras said tartly, tilting her long neck and head back a bit so she could look even further down upon her would be opponent. Truly the Pokemon of today had no manners. What were the other Guardians teaching these hooligans? They might have been in the wild, but that was no excuse for acting like they'd been raised in a barn!

For the moment, it wasn't a problem as he would use the last pokeball on the pokemon he had. Traveling with her awake was one thing, but asleep was another problem as the weight would start to bare down on him a bit. Once she was safely inside of the pokeball, he would simply clip the pokeball back upon his belt.
He had quite a bit to go before he had to worry about the problem with the egg, but right at that moment he had other things to worry about. His eyes would lock onto something quite strange.
A Vannilite that had decided that it tasted good enough to eat itself.
Strange, so strange.
Shiloh shook his head at this, and just move onwards trying not to make eye contact.
After all, if it would eat it self, there was no telling what it won't try to eat.

((Now what is Lapras' catch-rate? Also, thank you for your hard work tonight, it's been pretty busy for you with all these battles and active players!))
(14-9) + (15-10) = 10 dmg! Lapras at 11/21 hp!
Finally, Shinx manages to hit the Lapras with his attack and does quite a bit of damage before landing back on the path. Now that he's no longer caught by surprise by her countenance, things are a bit easier for him to deal with. "You are doing well Shinx, be prepared to evade her next attack." Acknowledging the praise and the command, Shinx scampers back and watches the Lapras, hoping that by keeping a close eye on her he can better avoid her attack. He really doesn't want to get hit by one of her attacks again, it'll be even worse to feel when he's awake.
The Solrock gave the youth another glare before floating back the way it had come. It seemed Alex's bruised body was safe, if only for now.

It had been a snap decision, but one she was fairly sure she wouldn't regret. After all... Alice HAD gotten those extra Pokeballs from the incident at the Mirage Arena! Besides, her Pokelot could use a good source of water... and the image of the Tauros acting as a milk cow in that regard was quite amusing. She giggled as she scooped the Pokeball up and pocketed it. "Oh, don't worry, Vorpal!" she assured the grumpy sword, lightly patting him on the hilt. "I'm sure he's very soft-hearted on the inside." With that, she took off again.
It took some time, but he had gotten away. Sore, but still standing, and his pokemon still alive. That was the main point. It was time to get back to traveling.
Zander shrugged at Tony's failed attempt. It had been a long time since they had engaged in combat so he figured Tony would need some warming up. There was no harm in continuing. "Tony, float up to avoid the Ledyba's attack!" Zander advised to his partner.
Tony decided to ignore Ledyba's remark for now. Using his light body, Cottonee tried to float upwards to avoid the incoming attack.

Speaking of eating, it much have been feeding time as not moments alter the youth would find an Aron amidst an array of half frozen debris. Using its thick metal skull, it was breaking pieces of rock and ice into smaller pieces before crunching on them happily.

[Capture Rate: 12+]
The moment tthe Nightslash struck, the Lapras's body would suddenly go rigid, her pupils dilating to mere pinpricks in an instant. No it wasn't because of the damage. That meant nothing to her. It was because of one simple thing. He had touched her. He had broken the skin. He would DARE to harm her beautiful form! The Guardian was practically bubbling with rage, something that could be briefly seen as her skin took on a much redder pallor in the skin....but it didn't last. In moments the colour dispersed and her skin was back to blue, a cold stare settling on the Shinx. No her rage wasn't hot...it was cold as ice. Gazing down upon the Shinx with disdain, the Lapras would open her mouth. Rather than a build up of energy however there was a simple jet of water. Water Gun, in all it's simplicity, was the choice she had made.

Her icy rage is also lovely, but Shinx can't focus on it as he barely avoids getting blasted by the water. Moving to face her, he shakes off the water that he was already drenched in as best as he can before looking back at Poppy to see what she wanted to do. Should he attack her more, or was she going to catch the pretty water type? >What are we going to do now, Poppy?<
Poppy weighed her options. She only had one extra pokeball to use, so it had to count. Was the Lapras weak enough to capture yet, or should she try another attack to make her chances higher? It was a risk, but she tucks Lotad's pokeball away in favor of the empty one, and with a press of the middle button, makes it larger to fill her hand. "Let's hope luck it on our side." Shinx moves further away as she throws the pokeball at the Lapras.

In the Garden of Monsters
Strangely as the rain briefly seemed to slow, and lighting ceased, Alice would come across a strange sight. From either-side of the grass two Flabebe would appear. Taking one another's hand, the pair would begin a slow, serene dance across a patch of wild flowers. They tiptoed across petals and swirled near the stems. Truly an entrancing sight....but as one knew with fairies....not all was as it appeared.
The world seemed to slow down as the Pokeball touched the air, sailing straight and true until it made contact with the Guardian's snout. In an instant several emotions flashed across her face. Surprise, Disgust, Rage, and then....a flicker of acceptance.
The ball landed upon the edge of the lilypad, but rather than the violent rattle and rock of most Pokemon this one would be slow...deliberate. The Ball would shift every three seconds, moving in one direction....towards the edge of the path. It would rock, drawing dangerously near the water....before a silent tone would sound. Poppy had done it....she'd caught the Guardian of the Bog.
