fujinakaheero Spiess Skits fujinakaheero And one other thing as to teen pregnancy. They always laughed when in sex-ed for gym class when the teachers said, have safe sex use a latex... yet they are the ones crying at the end of the day when they find out they're pregnant and don't understand how it could've happened. Teachers are not there just for show, they do try to teach us some stuff, even if some of it is annoying and corny. If you are going to have sex, at least be responsible enough when doing it. I mean you don't even have to buy protection, here where i am you can go to this health center that provides protection free of charge, so there is no excuse. [...♥]Exactly, though those talks are often awkward, especiall when you're 14 and you're TEACHER is telling you this stuff... lol i never had that talk, i never took grade 9 gym lol. But yeah it can be awkward, but even so, listening to them talk can be beneficial to you in the future. [...♥]I know, its true. Though even before the "big talk" I'd decided that I wasn't going to do that thing untill I found the right person and was ready, both emotionally and physically..

Spiess Skits [...♥]You're right, it shouldn't affect people but I really does. Because of the way humans are we need to be accepted even if that urge is just a slight feeling. So when someone lets it out that you've had sex, you get ridiculed and start to feel more and more unaccepted. As for it being the victim's fault, in most cases it is. On the other hand that doesn't make it right. The act is still wrong. I suppose I just do not understand why people can be so dependent on others' opinions. I find self-esteem and happiness within myself. I have had people hate me in the past and spread vicious gossip but it has never really bothered me. 3nodding In any case I think we just interpret the given data differently. We can agree to disagree. 4laugh Oh, and AmErIcAnSyKo, if you want to insult me, at least do it right. Saying someone is ignorant means that they are uninformed of the facts. Quote: Not only is it a bad idea, it is against the law. Period. Why? Because of all of the above stated reasons against it. If that's not proof enough for you to believe it's wrong, then you are ignorant. Plain and simple. Having the reasons means that you are by definition not ignorant. If you want to call me stupid or crazy then come out and say it, don't hide behind big words you don't know how to use correctly.

Hmm... I dunno if I agree or disagree with pre-marital sex. I'm 19 and still a virgin, I don't mind being one nor am I ashamed to be.
A lot of my friends have had sex and I really wasn't proud of them for it @__@; Five of them actually ended up pregnant within a few months of graduation and I was just kinda like "wow o_o;;" I asked one of my friends, why she did it and she said she really didn't know. She was a really smart girl, always doing good not going out and being wild and what not, but she went off to college and within a few months she was pregnant. I guess she just got really pressured, she might have felt like she needed to do it. My cousin also got pregnant at 13 or 14, she didn't really know what to do since she pretty much grew up without her mother. My aunt and her older sister helped her through her pregnancy, but her baby died a few months after being born. It's been a few years since then and she's pregnant again. I don't understand why anyone [as far as teenagers go] would want to keep doing something that's going to cause them a great deal of stress, like pregnancy. I think she's being pressured into it and has no one to talk to about it.
Anyway, I really don't think anyone should be pressured into having sex. Especially when in high school. True seniors are basically adults but after high school and you start going to college, how likely is it that you're going to be with that person? Your virginity isn't something you can get back and I'm sure your body isn't something you want to share with everyone time and time again.
In a way it makes me sick that kids/teens are having sex so young. I don't hate anyone who does, and I don't look down on them. I just wish I knew why they'd do it o.0; It... just doesn't seem logical sometimes.
That reminds me of when I was watching the news a few weeks ago. A few 5th graders got caught having sex in a classroom... gonk

I think there should be scary sex education... If you scare someone they'll not want to do it right?
I remember when I had to listen to stuff in health about sex and whatever not I found it to be really disturbing for the most part. Thinking about getting STDs makes me shudder. Not to mention that for the most part, people are becoming less and less trust worthy. A few of my other friends would go out and just have sex with anyone they felt comfortable with. I really couldn't believe that they'd do that, since I figured they had more respect for themselves. Having sex with just anyone for the hell of it is like asking them to inject you with a nice lethal dose of STDs. At least that's how I see it.
I guess I would understand why some girls/guys would do it if they had low self esteem, but in a way I can't. Sure, they'd want to feel like they're loved, but afterwards what happens? They'd probably go back to thinking they were only "loved" simply for the sex. It's kinda a big cycle of disappointment that leads to more crap that makes people upset and depressed.

Illegal does not equal wrong. I KNOW I was reffering to you. We established that already. Like I said, I was incorrect in assuming you were ignorant, and I CORRECTED myself. Like I said. For the third time.
Laws do change. Drinking was once socially unnacceptable.
Just like now, underaged sex, is socially unnacceptable.
In time, that might change, and it may not be "wrong" anymore.
But right now, it is illegal, it is socially unnacceptable, and it is "wrong".
Drinking is legal now because people can be responsible drinkers, but it's illegal to, guess who, UNDERAGED PEOPLE. Why? Because, for the most part, they are irresponsible. That goes the same with sex. It's illegal because kids are irresponsible, and do not think of the concequences.
Not only that, but it's basically taboo here in the United States, to think of underaged children having sex, even though it does happen.
You may think it's not wrong, but legally, you are incorrect.
