Duo froze, almost feeling like Heero abandoned him. He looked at Mia.

"You... you felt it?" he asked her quietly.

She nodded.

"So... it's... it's really..."

She nodded again. "I can prove it..." She looked down and pinched the back of her hand just enough to sting.

Duo rubbed his, feeling as if she'd done it to him. "It's..." He couldn't move. He numbly nodded. "Okay..." he then said.

Mia gave him a small, nervous smile, walking forward a bit.

"I'll tell Quatre it's okay..." he said, his voice very quiet.

"Okay." She walked toward the car with him.

Quatre sighed and rested his forehead against the steering wheel. He didn't mean to loose his temper. But lately.... He shook his head a bit.

"Relena, how have you been doing?" Zechs asked looking at his sister.

Heero let Wufei drive, as he knew where the Preventers location was that the others had gone to. It was a long trip, going from Sanc to Greece. He wondered why Trowa had chosen there instead of the main headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. That would have been closer...

He also wondered for a moment if Relena had stayed at the office or had returned to Brussels on her own. He was sure her staff were going to be worried if they weren't at the party already. He leaned on his hand, looking out the window as Wufei drove.

"She's coming with us," Duo said simply, getting in the car with Quatre. Mia got into the backseat, being careful not to jostle the device back there with her. Sure, it was disarmed and they had the detonator, but that didn't make it any less dangerous.

She avoided Quatre's gaze for the time being. She'd talk to him later.

"It's okay," Mia said. "I'm just glad he has someone who cares about him so much."

In the passenger seat, Duo's face started to turn a bit pink. He fidgeted slightly with the bandanna on his arm.

Mia leaned forward. "Let me look at it," she said.

Duo frowned a bit, but shifted to let her see. Mia carefully worked on it as much as she could for the time being, trying not to hurt him. He stayed pretty quiet through most of it, wincing a few times and hissing once when she hit a rather sensitive point.

"Sorry..." she said, also wincing a bit.

He shook his head. "It's okay."

Quatre continued to drive, smiling at the two. "I think of Duo as my brother, because I don't have any brothers of my own."

Zechs sat down and looked at Relena, smiling in return. "I think I should speak with Noin, let her know I'm alright. But, I'll stay on Earth for a bit, and possibly return to Mars."

Trowa looked up happy someone finally came. He gave on more look at the waves below then walked off to see the two that just came. Walking up Trowa just lifts his chin slightly "What's your cargo?" flatly. However his forest green eyes twinkled as his two favorate pilots were there. He looked over and saw Wu Fei. Nodding ever so slightly he waited to see if he could help out in any way.

Why the hell is Tro being so mean to poor Quatre?!? What did blondie ever do to deserve that?!?! Do you just have something against Quatre?
And what's your beef with Duo? Do you not like him either? Is it a beef with the characters themselves or do you just have a thing against the people roleplaying them or something? Seriously!?!?!??!!??!

I can’t speak for anyone else but I’m seriously getting pissed off at just how OOC Trowa’s been.

In fact, I haven’t posted lately in protest as I’m SICK of it! You took one of my favorite characters and royally slaughtered him to the point where he’s almost unrecognizable!

I hate coming here anymore because a little part of me dies every time I see just how badly Trowa’s been mangled this next time.

I’m tired of saying nothing and being the nice girl. I CAN’T TAKE THIS ANYMORE!!!!

Please explain exactly what your reasoning is behind making Trowa so OOC otherwise I hereby suggest that the following idea be added to the official storyline/plot…

It is found out that the Trowa with them is an imposter.

The imposter is dealt with.

The other go off in search of the REAL Trowa.

(( Nothing has to be cookie cutter, but we're just curious as to why, over the time that's passed, Trowa seems to have shifted his 'favortism' from Duo and Quatre to Heero and Wufei. Yes, during the series, he spends time with those two... Heero the most. However, he does spend quite some time with Quatre (twice), works with Quatre and Duo to infiltrate Libra, is found by Duo after the Vayeate exploded, and spends time with Quatre and Duo in the hospital after the final battle. He even tells Catherine, while he has amnesia, that he wants to join the battle because he can hear Quatre crying, yet Quatre wasn't even there at that point. He'd left and gone into battle outside the colony after Catherine chased him off like she had done to Duo. Heero and Wufei were kind of the loners while Duo, Trowa, and Quatre were the ones that generally worked as a team the most. Even in Endless Waltz, it was those three that descended to Earth first as a team to join Noin and Zechs in Brussels while Heero and Wufei confronted each other in the atmosphere. In Blind Target, he works with Quatre to set up the traps for White Fang on the abandoned colony.

I think the main concern here is that most of the canon evidence for Trowa's character shows that he tends to be with Duo and Quatre more than Heero and Wufei, yet you have him acknowledging the latter two as his favorites. Duo and Quatre are the more social ones, there's no denying that. And I'm not saying that Trowa's extremely social or doesn't get along with Heero and Wufei. However, Trowa's the most flexible of the group (and not just as an acrobat) in the fact that he seems to understand each pilot's desire to either work alone or as a team. He's quiet and only one person in the show ever truly distrusted him, even when he was undercover (that was Lt Nichol, Lady Une's assistant in the OZ Space Force on Space Fortress Barge, if anyone's interested, btw). Even Dekim Barton, who knew who the real Trowa Barton was, accepted him into the Mariemeia Army and the Barton Foundation, only questioning his presence until Trowa flatout lied to Dekim and Wufei about his intentions. And Wufei believed him!

If there's any favortism, I would think that it would be towards Quatre, since Quatre was the only character he ever exhibited any sort of bond with (as I mentioned earlier with the scene at the circus where he feels he should know Quatre despite having amnesia, something he didn't do when Duo had shown up an episode or two before that... I personally think that's saying something for a bond of some sort...). I'm not saying you have to play him 3x4, as that's not a confirmed pairing anywhere but in fandoms. I'm just confused as to why Trowa has suddenly shifted in almost the complete opposite direction from where he had been at the end of the OVA (when he stood with Duo and Quatre and destroyed Heavyarms when they destroyed their own Gundams).

However, I'd have to say I'm probably the more laid back person who's bothered by this. I've been wondering, and I've even speculated that maybe it had something to do with your OC... and it has been bothering me... I'm not going to deny that. I think, at this point, I understand you don't want to reveal the situation in the public thread before it's played out, but if you could PM one of the Guild crew to at least explain what's happening because it is somewhat disconcerting to other members now. I'm sure when you look at what's been presented, and the fact that it's the early in the first April after Endless Waltz's Christmas (which is just over three months), that it's not actually all that long to have so much projection going on.

Which is probably partially my fault... as I think I should have been more clear on the timeline. Preventer Five, the manga this particular storyline was based off of, took place on Relena's birthday in 197. Her birthday is in early April... the 8th, if I remember correctly... and Endless Waltz took place around Christmas time of 196... The series took place from Relena's birthday in 195 to her next birthday in 196. Though, there was a bit of a gap (maybe a month or two?) between the end of the final battle and the last episode that showed her on her birthday finding the teddy bear Heero left for her on her shuttle. There were actually a few time jumps like that in the series (like skipping the four months Heero was unconscious after self-destructing) in order to get it to cover the entire year. I did notice that Yuriko's been playing Relena and mentioning that it had been several years... so I suppose everyone's a bit confused about just how much time has gone by.

So here's my timeline...

Pre-195... most of Episode Zero.
April 195... final issue of Episode Zero, series starts.
April 196... series ends.
Various points during the next 8 months... Blind Target, Ground Zero, Battlefield of Pacifists.
December 196... Endless Waltz.
April 197... Preventer Five.

The only official date ever mentioned anywhere for anything is April 8th. April 8th, for a moment of Gundam trivia, is an important date in the Gundam franchise because it was first airing date of the original Gundam series. They gave Relena that birthdate as some sort of tribute, I suppose, to the original series. Because they show three separate observations of her birthday at various points in storylines that are considered canon, those are our time references. I think there's a fourth in her Episode Zero, when she gets abducted by a rebel who's being chased by Zechs and Treize, but I'm not sure right now, and it doesn't effect our story's timeline.

With two references to her birthday in the series, and Endless Waltz taking place after that second birthday reference, it's safe to assume that the birthday for Preventer Five is in 197 since it is established that Preventer Five takes place after the OVA.

Hopefully, that will help a bit. My apologies for the confusion. sweatdrop

Also... for a point of reference, I did type out the entire 'script' of the manga this storyline was based on. Trowa was actually on tour with the circus troupe when Wufei and Quatre went to find him. I know you have something going with your OC in Greece, but I didn't have him start there. I thought you had seen my opening posts when I passed Trowa over to you. ))
