"Tch.." Ai tore her eyes away, narrowing the crimson orbs as she pushed a hand down at the roofing, lifting herself up. "A missing nin huh..." She sneered at the idea, glancing once to the back of the Kodomo's head, a hand clenched tightly by her side as she watched the silver hair flicker slightly in the wind. "Playing good won't relieve you of your penance..." She whispered, her pale lips curled behind the black cloth draped over half her face, a hand clenched even tighter. Twisted on the idea of vengeance, the mist shinobi held a breath, restraining herself from spinning around and pulling out her kunai. "I will avenge them....if it's the last thing I do.."

A distant cry made her glance up, hastily she picked up the huge, oversized buster sword that lay beside her. Swinging the sword onto her shoulder with a loud clank, the blade was dressed in its usual torn cloth, wrapped by ropes as a glint of metal was seen at the side. Holding a hand to her chest, she performed a one handed seal, quickly disappearing in a whisp of wind reappearing a few streets down. "The hokage tower ka..?" She thought to herself biting the corner of her lips, before letting the sword fall to the ground with a huge thunder. Turning she saw a small girl admist the ruins of her home, scathed and dirty, she was bawling.

"Daijoubu..?" Ai whispered as she moved towards her, kneeling down as she tried to put on the warmest and most sincere smile. "Haha...chichi.." The girl cried as she rubbed both eyes, bawling. Holding a hand to her face she gently brushed the dust from her cheeks, narrowing her red eyes as she was reminded of the very same scene...ten years ago it was.

"Hai..."

Kodomo takes a sad look around and then delves deep into his memories that where sealed into his mind in a earlier stage of his life which had been activated when he had reached a certain age. He remembered his fathers words in this memory about how he was now most likely to be the onyl one of their clan. He also remembered how he had said the Mist had destroyed them, but then he felt that the new enemy would have to be the Cloud. He wondered why his father had let these people take care of him, he wondered why he hadn't given him to the Leaf, whom he was sure would have taken him in. He also wondered what his life would have been like if he hadn't been raised in the Cloud but he could not brood on the past for the present was becoming dangerous.

"I may not be the best...But, Hinata-sama, my life is now yours...And for the honor of Kaguya, I will stand with you until the day this heart beats no more..."

"I'd tell you that I'd fight him...But I know I wouldn't stand a chance..."

Kodomo frowned at his weakness and the looked out at all of the rubble that was once Konoha he felt sad for the poor inhabitants who had known this as their home.

::Hinata shot a glance at Kitsune and then looked at Kodomo:: No one here is weak, we all have our advantages and strengths and we need to rely on those and those of others. We aren't going to get anywhere if we keep trying to shove each other out of the way ::she herself was guilty of this and shot an apologetic look at Kotai::

::she knelt and drew something in the dirt, a sort of quick map:: the Raikage has just threatened us with his strongest cloud-nin, alone we stand no chance, but together we might be able to get to the tower again ::she looked up at kodomo:: You are the only one amoung us who has the most knowledge of cloud, you might know some weaknesses we can use to our advantage.

::she thought for a moment, running a hand over her eyes:: we aren't too far, but nor are we overly close. ::she winced in thought, murmering to herself:: why in the world would he want...::she stopped herself in mid-thought and looked up:: We need to stay out of sight as much as possible. Kotai, you've seen the damage done in Leaf and know the city, take point, keep us off the main streets as much as possible, Kitsune, after Kotai, you have a great deal of strength in you and it seems that some of your powers are as quick acting as Kotai's, you two will be the quickest to react if danger hits us.

::she stood and dashed the map away with her foot::Kodomo, you're third. It will make you less of a target if your village can't get a straight look at you. I know little to nothing of the kaguya clan,myself, but I have heard rumors and stories, you have more strength than you give yourself credit for.

::she gave them all a half smile:: I'll bring up the rear.

Kodomo nodded and then looked around sadley, he knew the only one weakness that any of the Cloud truly had was their arrogence and their specialty in storms and the like. He took his place as the third in line when they would finally come together and then he glanced around noting the girl he had seen before not to far, nothing could be done about that now though.

Aya stood at the corner of a ruined building looking up at it thoughtfully, her eyes half lidded and dazed as if she didn't quite understand. But each step she took was sure and well placed, showing that she did understand the war that was continuing. Her 12 year old skills and body were no match to the invaders and once again she was useless. Something flashed in her eyes as she remembered another war, another time, and another place. As she pulled her mask up her fingers lingered on a scar across her face. She closed her eyes for a second leaning against the wall of the crumbling building.

::Kitsune didn't move her head but her eyes flitted all around keeping an eye out on the situation. She followed after Kotai trusting his abilities to get them to where they were headed. This was rather strange to her because she hadn't really been the Kusakage for very long, she wondered if it was wise to have come here but immedietly dismissed the notion. There was a reason for her presence, so she might as well get to it::

::she stumbled once or twice while walking, still feeling slightly fatigued but not too overly, thanks to Kotai's bugs. She wondered breifly if tentu was alright, and if he was still perched atop Hercule well above the bloody battlefield below::

::upon occasion she would walk closer to Kodomo, a comforting and reassuring hand on his shoulder, and a silent yet friendly smile on her lips. She kept watching and listening, getting an odd sense that this was all going too easily::
