And of course, something always happens.

The doors of the gym were suddenly bashed open with such force that they went back and hit the walls behind them, leaving a slight dent in them.

And in walked Fasumbra Langardo, in all his angelic glory, floating softly above the ground upon a pair of wings, the wings colored a sapphire blue. The color heavily contradicted his outfit, which was a crimson "suit" with golden lining.

Long, platinum blonde hair went down his muscular back in a sleek mass, like a river of the purest gold, the strands of thin golden fiber stopping at his lower back. His emerald green eyes looked around cautiously, making sure someone wouldn't rush him.

In his left hand was an odd weapon; a solid black spear that looked...very organic, like some forbidding bone of a massive creature. The weapon was longer than Fas, the length being around 7'6" long. The buisness end of the weapon was made like a halbard, a spear-tip on the end and two axes on the sides.

They were all made of the odd bone material, and were sharpened incredibly, although there was more to the large polearm than just a razor edge. Interestingly, the matte-black finish of the weapon made the edges of each blade nearly invisable.

Fas floated still, rolling his shoulders slowly and tilting his neck to the left, then to the right, two suprisingly loud snaps filling the air with each movement as the tendons streched and nitrogen bubbles popped.

And then he seemed to wait. Not clear for what exactly, but he waited, yawning.

Shitty entrance time.

Out from the shadows a siloutte formed. However, the shadows seemed to not be natural, but were actually radiating from him. This "shadow aura" left a few strands of shadows when it moved too far off, which dispersed to nothingness.

The figure is a man of average height, around 6 feet tall. The aura hid any features, except for a pair of red, glowing eyes, although the glow was pretty dim.

The man was leaning against a wall on the corner with his arms crossed, apparently waiting for someone, or something.

He calmly glanced over to Fas after his...very noisy entrance. He glanced back to empty space, waiting for the next thing to occur.

Fas, almost immediately after the man's appearance, threw the odd spear in his direction, the spear impaling the wall above the man, sticking there very solidly.

Fas then appeared atop the weapon with a flash of mana-light, his wings vanished away, standing on the weapon, which wasn't even bending from his weight.

He then suddenly "fell" stopping his fall suddenly, his feet sticking to the bottom of the weapon like a magnet. His head was hanging over Syker's left shoulder, his hair oddly unaffected by gravity, staying perfectly in place.

"See? Told you she'd be here Syker." Fas said, looking at Raine with his eyes, studying every movement she made, his Mana-Sense picking up each molecular movement she made, even the blood flowing in her veins, muscle movement, hormone release, and countless other things.

And so he hung upside down like some oddly colorful bat.

At first, Syker Luyez didn't comply at all, as if his senses had died out on him. Like he was daydreaming... Or something.

Not even when a deadly spear was thrown just above his head did he comply. He seemed to just be minding his own business... until Fas came too close.

Luyez then jumped when Fas hanged upside down like a freak, and he swiftly smacked Fas with the back of his hand in reaction. Paranoid much?

The hit sent a very loud smacking sound through the silent building. He mumbled something under his breath, in a unpleasant tone.

The shadow aura became considerably less dense, becoming slightly transparent, but not enough to see him well.

Luyez then sighed and shook his head. He spoke in a low tone, as if speaking to himself. "Idiot..."

When the blow caught Fas, the result was...odd.

He began spinning, his feet never leaving the spear, but he spun around it, like some crazy orbit, spinning incredibly fast, similar to the effect of a swing going up and around the pole it's attached to, except Fas didn't wrap around it.

He stopped after a while, back in his original hanging position, his hair messed up in a crazy, bedhead-looking style, or like he had been on a roller coaster. His eyes were swirly now, and his mouth hung open dazedly.

His expression then changed to one of seriuz bizniz, a large red mark on his face where Luyez had backhanded him.

"Hello to you too Syker." He said, a sarcastic note to his words.

Stretching his right hand out softly as Raine began the procedure, Snow anchored all his weight to his left leg, allowing his other leg to move about effortlessly without problem. Surprised at first of the opponent's speed - there was still that few seconds which he can use minimal actions to respond, he merely added a bit of weight to his front leg before pushing back with it, shifting himself one step away from the kick that was aimed for his chin, his left leg acting as the fulcrum. Keeping the right hand in consistency to the situation, it immediately shot out faster than Raine could retract her leg, and grabbed hold of her outstretched limb in a firm grip. There was the possibility of having her kick with her other leg, once caught... so to make sure that doesn't happen...

Snow, instead of pushing the strike away, would yank hard at the outstretched left leg, bringing his left hand up from his hips to deliver a small tap at Raine's left ankle.

If he had delivered a strong blow to Raine's left ankle...he could perhaps dislocate or break the joint just like that, depending on his strength. It would be worse if he had his sword unsheathed....for Raine would by then lose the leg if this was serious.

Not knowing how Raine would react to it, he will just follow with that plan, tapping on her left ankle lightly with his left hand before releasing her leg, letting her retract it.

After all, Raine wasn't taking him seriously.

Her charcoal eyes lit up as he grabbed at her ankle, successfully wrapping his fingers around it and yanking it. As he tapped on it and released it, she simply somersaulted foward and landed on her feet oddly. Balancing there, she pushed against the floor and raised her upper body up with a straightening of the knees. She realized that he knew she wasn't taking him seriously, which was why he was holding back. She turned, though ready in case he had decided to come forth and attack while she was still somersaulting or standing.

Instead of looking angry or annoyed like most immature fighters had a tendency to do, she smiled instead. It was a more of a smirk, but it did have a happy attribute to it. After all, she'd fought some really dumb people in the past, excluding the few people that had earned her respect.

It was always nice to fight someone who knew what they were doing.

"Interesting..
This'll be a fine fight."

She lived to fight, and for nothing more. Fighting was the only thing that could bring someone like her happiness. This was all she cared about.

Death and cuts were a small price to pay for a bit of fun.

As quickly as her smirk had come upon her face, it disappeared and she was ready to go again. She didn't mind using weaponry if he wanted to, so it didn't matter to her if he wanted to get a bit more serious and fight with those. Until he drew his weapon though, she would continue to advance in the manner she had chosen.

So, she did.

She was still standing pretty close to him, and if he hadn't made a movement by then, she would. She suddenly took a step forward with her right leg, shifting most of her weight to her left leg, she hastily pulled her left fist back, raising it by her shoulder. Like a spring-action toy, she let if fly, aiming a simple, yet effective punch towards his right eye. More power had been placed into this, so that if it should make contact it would have a relatively good effect. Stunning was a possibility, or knocking him off his feet. The strength she had placed into this wasn't all of her strength, but it was enough to take her a little more seriously. Especially because! She wasn't done attacking.

As this would happen, her right hand had already pulled back, palm facing outwards and the hand preparing to strike. In less than a second, it shot out as well in a powerful palm thrust to the left side of his chest, though it was enough away from the heart to not cause any serious damage. It'd probably have enough power to knock him backwards though.

Not only that, but her right leg shot up high into the air, her balance focused on her left leg, but her weight had shifted forward for more of an effect in her attacks. Her right knee would most likely make contact with his abdomen at the time her fist would would be hitting the chest. So, essentially, she'd be using three of her limbs to attack, though all of them weren't very hard to counter. But, all of them coming at the same time might be a little overwhelming, but overall she expected a good reaction from him. She could feel that he would be a good opponent.

Unless he drew his sword while she was attacking, that might suck for her then.

He may be more adapt with using his swords, but even so, it doesn't mean he can't hold his ground without a weapon on his hand.

It was pretty close indeed, both of them standing there - judging from the distance, approximately two feet, perhaps. Just as she began to wind up for her next assault, he already had his stance shifted to another side stance, this time with his left leg first and his right leg behind the position. His hands were relatively loose, held near his chest as he finally responded to the next attack.

It isn't that hard dodging a punch to the face, but then seeing her other joint shooting out to land a blow against his chest? That would be a problem. He tilted his head to the left, first letting the punch skim past him without hitting his right eye. Not having enough reaction time to dodge the right hand fully, an impulsive motion came over his senses, urging him to do something which he normally wouldn't do.

And with that little devil inside him whispering some things into his mind, he followed it without much thought, not aware of the consequences which it might drop him into.

There was really no good action about it. Seeing her launch the right punch towards his chest, Snow, instead of pushing himself away, pushed himself even closer to the attack. It might've hurt if Snow had remained a few distance away, but if he came closer so that her right punch can't fully extend out, the damage would lessen as he would've halted the punch prematurely before it fully struck.
He winced a bit at the damage, which would be less powerful than initially intended, as his face was too close for comfort on Raine's position.

He accidentally kissed her.

Taking the initiative when she might be startled by his up-close appearance, his hands - which were, as said before, laying close to his own chest - shot out from the sides to deliver a sharp, painful stab at her left and right torso, just slightly beneath her ribcage areas. Using the momentum from the first shift, his hands would then cup her side torsos before shoving her back a few steps.

There was no need to really explain how Snow dodged the right kick. He forced himself closer than her lethal range, so the attack would be premature, if not lessened to a certain degree by his katana, chained near his hips.
Since his katana has a longer, unusual length, it was relatively close to his body, and the hilt was also long enough to withstand quite a beating.

Therefore, Snow felt the attack at the same time he felt her right punch, but it wasn't truly strong enough to make him stumble.

Besides, she's now on one leg, and with him giving her a shove back after stabbing her left and right torso with his hands...

Fas noticed the kiss.

And his face went from serious buisness to a massive sweatdrop, and a look of shock/disgust.

"Well....I think he's succeded in pissing her off...I think I'll just..."

Fas trailed off, and a wall of multicolored light came up in front of him, like a bubble. A barrier of mana. For indeed, Raine had one hell of a temper, and a kiss, accidental or not, would definately make her lose it.

Especially since when she last went into "rage mode" on him, she proved that her temper pushed away all logical reasoning for being pissed off.

He knew she had a tendancy to explode, and it was also nearly guarenteed that she would...get lethal in her anger. Therefore, a barrier around himself would be smart, to avoid a flurry of her dark energy.

((>_>))

Well, Fas was certainly right in what he had said. Whether it was meant accidentally or not, she didn't care.

She was angry.

Despite him hitting her in the torso, she acted as though it didn't bother her a bit. That's what happens when she gets angry. Pain becomes nothing. Also, as he shoved her backwards she placed her right foot down abruptly behind her, which would ensure that she wouldn't tip over.

She glared at him with a look of hatred, her kind manner now turning to something fierce. She no longer cared if this was Hand-to-Hand. To her, he needed to be hurt seriously or die for what he had done.

"...
That...was a mistake.
I'm going to make sure you regret it."

Her common sense was gone. Nothing was left but a desire to hurt him. That's why, some people called her insane. Fas knew all too well what she was capable of.

Almost as soon as she had stepped away, both of her hands suddenly reached behind her, wrapping around the hilt of her Wakizashis and unsheathing them from their silver scabbards. As she pulled them out, her body began to glow with an odd grey aura that made her seem more powerful. Her eyes even began to glow a faint red colour, though it wasn't very noticeable.

In the unsheathing of her swords, she carried the unsheathing through and performed an unsheath-slash towards him with both of the Wakizashis in a criss-crossed manner. This would most likely slash him across the chest, though judging from the distance, they would be shallow cuts.

The whole room began to give a faint grey glow as she did this, her aura growing around her. In he were able to sense energy, he might understand -just- how angry she was.

She was charging her energy for something.

As she did this, the dark aura around her began to pour off of her like water, falling to the ground in a big grey puddle. Except, instead of acting like water, it began to move towards him, puddling under his feet. Suddenly, the dark energy would shoot into the air, taking on the form of dark spikes. She wasn't playing around anymore. She didn't care if it killed him.

If he didn't move, he'd be impaled numerous times.

She was pissed enough to do that.

Plus, he'd have to worry about the Wakizashis, since if he moved forward at all he'd just get killed by those. At least, that would ensure that another dumb "mistake" wouldn't be made that would anger her more.

((XD Wow, I was right on the money. It seems I've actually learned something from our matches.))

Fas winced slightly, closing one eye as she performed the dual-battojutsus. It would be very difficult to stop the attack at such range, since a battojutsu is designed to be fast and powerful, a nearly instant attack. Nightsnow was lucky that she hadn't gone full-blast with it, if she had...well...

Fas then noticed the dark energy that went under Snow, then exploded upwards in a flurry of spikes. He was watching her attack, interested in exactly what she was doing.

Thankfully, Fas' Mana-Aura was still up, or else he would have been worried about her dark energy attacking him. Or some other, random attack that would kill him.

And so he watched still, watching the cold fury that was Raine.
