Nolas Kotoro's steps faltered slightly with the negative answer, but he quickly right himself once more. He looked at the smaller boy wearing those weird goggles. Those caused him to look even more like a kid than he already did, he thought absently. Instead of giving definition to yet another word he believed everyone should know, he shook his head slightly. "Can I ask you a question?" he said.

Kon almost jumped, his expression shocked. Was he that obvious?! "Wh-what do you mean...?" he asked hesitantly, trying to hide his agitation with a smile - and failing. "What... what is normal?" he asked. When he had swam, it had always been in his fox form and with his family. They had no need of clothes, so that was what was normal for him, but... somehow he got the idea that it wasn't quite the same with people.
((He's. So. Dumb. xD He should... he should meet Tato's chara, Haro...)) Ryu laughed at Kon's reaction and gently ruffled his hair. "Anything can be normal- it all depends on who you ask.And if you ask me, what's normal is what's comfortable. So I don't care as long as you're happy."

Kon frowned, his confusion remaining. "Kon... Kon swam with his family... but we didn't have clothes? Kon... Kon doesn't know what to do..." he murmured, squeazing his eyes shut. He felt so... confuzed. Why couldn't the other just make it easy and tell him what to do?

"Alright," he said in an agreeing manner, turning his eyes to look straight ahead. It was much easier to move around now that there were a lot less people walking about. He didn't even wait for the next crosswalk to turn green before crossing the street.
"Do you have something wrong in your head?" he asked. This time there was no sarcasm. Just a staight-out, almost to the point of being blunt, question. "Maybe a few loose screws?"

Mie-tanuki Kon frowned, his confusion remaining. "Kon... Kon swam with his family... but we didn't have clothes? Kon... Kon doesn't know what to do..." he murmured, squeazing his eyes shut. He felt so... confuzed. Why couldn't the other just make it easy and tell him what to do? Ryu gently smiled and placed a hand on his shoulder- he hated seeing his face all scrunched up like that. "Ok then- if that's what you are used to then that is fine. besides, if you don't own a swimsuit it would be the easier option..." But also the more tempting...

Oliver internalized a growl and once they crossed the street made to shove Kotoro into an alley.
"What exactly do you mean by that?" he asked bluntly. For once, irritated, Oliver closed in on the other with proximity to the wall. "Just name what you want. It was a peach. I don't have money. I'll give you a minute of life, a chance of luck, whatever. Just name it! I refuse to be indebted to you when you'd rather insult me!"

Needless to say, Kotoro was taken aback by this sudden show of aggressive behavior presented by Oliver. He blinked, brows knitted as he watched the boy rant.
"Woah, woah, woah," he said, holding up a hand. He was only able to raise a single finger while the rest held onto the bag. "Hold up one second. Indebted to me for paying for your peach? What's that supposed to mean?" It was now his turn to ask questions.

Oliver frowned and opened his mouth but no words came out, as he wasn't sure how best to clarify his meaning. It was obvious wasn't it? He closed his mouth again and pulled anxiously at his collar. He looked toward the end of the alley. "Well... I should pay you b--"
'Haavyen!' an eerie whisper sounded in Oliver's head.
The younger male's golden orbs shot back to Kotoro concernedly. He forgot the question and instead asked abruptly, "Did you just call me...?" But... how could Kotoro have called him that?

Kotoro looked down at the seemingly younger boy with a looked asking 'What the hell are you talking about?' Oliver looked to be so.. troubled all of a sudden. Much different than his previous curious manner.
"Can't say that I did, kid," he said, looking up and down the alley before his gaze returned to the other. "Why? You hearing things now?"

"I know...I just hate haing to tell people what they should or shouldn't do...It's their life, so it should be their decision, ne? But if you want me to decide for you..." ((again, thinking pose...I also have no real way of saying it ^^)) "...Then...How 'bout we go out and get you a bathing suit. That way if you ever need one later, then you will have one."

Ryu chuckled- Kon certianally was a strange one...but a strange one that he was hopelessly attracted to. " All right then." Ryu gently took Kon's hand and lead him down the street, thi time walking along side of him. " So...what's your favorite color?"
