that's because akabane has devoted his life to what he does..... killing innocent bystandards..... and killing strong people too I guess rolleyes

but he also died? or disappeared after the battle. he manage to kill Ban by using his hidden potential. Akabane killed Ban because he would regret not killing him because he got more upside in the battle. Akabane even thank Ban after the fight because a fight with a super strong foe while using his hidden potential is what akabne desired since the start.
