Dyani might have flinched when Sebastian fired the stun gun. She might have screamed. She might have ... done something? But she didn't, and she was just there akwardly staring as the buck finally fell to the ground for good.
At least for now.
She was just there. She hadn't done anything. And just a few minutes ago, she had been so ... attracted to him. What had happened to her to make her moods suffer such an extreme shift? What was wrong with her? Was there something wrong with her?
But she was just there. Just there. She was nothing.
Was something wrong with her? Why hadn't she done anything? Why wasn't she doing anything now?
She looked at Sebastian, as though to ask for help - what was happening to her? How had she shifted so abruptly from attraction and hormones and 'instinct' to emptiness and doubt and guilt? How had this happened?
And she kept eye contact with him, asking him for help in something she herself didn't understand, asking her friend for help, for just a few moments longer. Just a few moments longer ...
