Serenepaw You sit there in your heartache Waiting on s o m e beautiful boyXXXXXX XXXTo save you from your old ways XXXXYou p l a y forgiveness XXXXXXWatch him now XXXXXXHere he comes He d o e s n t look a thing like JesusXXXX But he talks like a gentleman Like you imagined when y o u were young I let my left ear lift from it's position sprawled down against my head, and it swiveled, aswell as the right one, listening to Oceanmist's kind-hearted words, I enjoyed my Mentor, she was so sweet, calm, and gentle, I moved my body towards the herbs, and began to sort through them, looking for anything we needed. Yarrow... Coltsfoot... Horsetail, that shouldn't be hard to find. I thought to myself, then continued to look. We could use some blackberry leaves aswell I thought, I remembered there use instantly, use for bee stings. My body moved back over to Oceanmist, and I sat next to her, thinking of any warriors to take. Then, I suddenly noticed the scent of a male cat, one of our own clan, it wasn't that new cat, who had been made basically an Apprentice, my head turned, and I smiled ever so slightly, a warm greeting escaping my maw. "Hello there, warrior" I mewed, my eye's looking him over, trying to recognize the cat, it took me a few moments, but I identified him as Sandstripe, suddenly, a bubbly female came bounding up, she could recognize her instantly as Griffonsea, just by her pelt and bubbly personality, I smiled softly. "You both can accompany me" I said warmly, then looked over at Oceanmist. "Well, I suppose I will see you later, Mentor" I mewed to her, getting up, my hindlegs moving to where I could stand, I shook my coat for a split second, looking at the two cats. "Shall we head off?" I asked them, I wasn't going to leave without them being ready, that'd just be plain rude.

"Yes, yes! Both of you may accompany Serenepaw as she gathers herbs. Watch over her, keep her safe. But don't forget to have fun. Heh heh.."[I told the two warriors, offering to help Serenepaw. I looked down at the ground. Did I have any time to speak to Shiftstar? Maybe not. Maybe after the moonpool, I'd discuss with her.]
"I think I'll start heading now. Tell Shiftstar I need to speak with her once I return. Griffonsea, Sandstripe! Serenepaw already knows what were low on, so she will guide you. Thank you very much for helping!" [I told them, back away and padding towards the exit.]
[I was excited. I needed to get to the moonpool to discover exactly what what going on. The floods and storms, maybe this all had to do with this "danger" the leaders spoke of?]

The voice wasn't scary but he tends to be jumpy if something sneaks up behind him" Who-- " He turned around to see Griffonsea. Oh, mouse-brain me. He hung his head jokingly. " Sorry Griffonsea." He apologized. Sandstripe whispered to Serenepaw," Does she seem kind of... calm? Even after the gathering?" He remembered Galestar speaking as if a great disaster would appear, well, subtract the recent drowning. Disregarding the question he asked earlier, he meowed a simple," I'm ready."

I nodded towards Sandstripe, noting I had heard his voice, noting that he was also ready to leave, by the looks of him, as I peered closer, he seemed to have just woken up, I sat down on my haunches, unsheathing my claws and my black talons scraping at the ground in a bored manner of fashion, I rather enjoyed herb hunting, I found it fun. My claws continued to scrape, then I sheathed the talons, and more rather hummed, thinking of what we needed, yarrow, coltsfoot, blackberry leaves, horsetail. I then spoke, my voice clear. "I do believe we need yarrow, coltsfoot, horsetail and leaves. Blackberry leaves." I mewed, and incase they were curious, my muzzle, which was covered by the dark mask on my face, opened again, speaking. "blackberry leaves are for bee stings, yarrow is for throwing up, coltsfoot, it's main use is for the chest, to ease the breathing. Horsetail, treats infection" I said, sniffing daintly at the air, to pick up any scents around myself, also to possibly detect the cat's rummaging about the camp, my tail curling over my peach like, colored paws.

Seaclan All these listing of herbs made his head throb a little. I can't believe Serenepaw remembers all the herbs, she's truly intelligent. Sandstripe observed as she sniffed the needed supplies." You might as well be a fully-recognized medicine cat." He praised her. Many questions were raised in his head though. He had never really seen some of the ingredients, or don't know where to look for them." Does some of the herbs grow near the river?" He asked. "Okay well I guess we'll split em? " she suggested, tilting her head. "I can search for yarrow, I guess, as long as I get a scent of it." Twitching her nose, she added, "It'd be best if we could sniff the herbs so we can track down their scent in the forest. And then we'll also know what they look like if we see em. Could you show me what yarrow looks like?"

or lose myself among the fray.

"Thank you very much, warrior" I mewed, listening to their words, then nodded my head. "Yes, of course" I mewed, picking up some yarrow in my haws carefully, and sliding it towards Griffonsea, then I obtained the blackberry leaves, horsetail, and coltsfoot, sliding it forward towards them. "Here you go" I mewed, my paw moved forward, pointing at the yarrow. "That's yarrow" I mewed, then my paw moved towards some spikey kind-of leaves, "That's blackberry leaves" I added on, my paw moved over the coltsfoot, identifying it by the flower. "This is coltsfoot, but you really only need the leaves" I mewed, the horsetail was last. "So, last; of course, is horsetail" I said, as I studied the herbs silently, thinking of what grew near the water. "Coltsfoot grows well near water, blackberry leaves are best found amongst clumps of stuff, you could also search close to trees, but they grow about everywhere. Horsetail grows near water aswell. Yarrow is a bit more difficult to find." I said, Griffonsea would have a bit more difficult task ahead of her, searching for yarrow. My left paw scuffled the ground. "If you guys need any help, just ask me"

"I'll do my best, Serenepaw," she promised the she-cat. "I'll keep an eye out for horsetail too since I can remember it."
Nodding to the others, she quickly padded out of camp, tail held high with determination. She'd find those herbs for Serenepaw-!!

She had found a somewhat reasonable patch of yarrow close to camp. Some of it was drowned from the flood, but there were enough leaves to bring back to camp. Gently grasping the leaves with her teeth, she turned on her heels and returned to camp.
Not sure exactly to put the herbs, she simply left some inside the medicine cat's den, near the entrance, before darting back out of camp for some horsetail.
Several moments later she returned with even less amount of horsetail than she had gathered of yarrow. Still, it was something. She wished there was more, but the recent flood had stripped away some of the plants that grew in SeaClan. Oh well, she thought to herself. At least I managed to find something!

Seaclan He kept a particular eye out for coltsfoot and the blackberry leaves. He searched around the borders of the clan camp thoroughly and managed to find some blackberry leaves. He gently put the leaves next to some newly found yarrow before searching a little further. He was stumped. There was rarely any coltsfoot. " Hey, if anyone needs me, I'll be at the river." He yowled before padding away towards the river.

Painted souls that streak the sky
StarClan
A gray tabby she-cat watched the warriors running in and out of the Clan. She hissed to herself, making her way to Serenepaw.
"Drop what you're doing," she said quickly, urgency lighting up her eyes. "You need to get away from these cliffs! It's starting! Everyone here is in grave danger! Get to the flatter land near the lake. Hurry!"
A jet-black she-cat stood in the entrance to Shiftstar's den. The multi-colored leader asked, "What do you need? I'm-"
Her voice caught in her throat as she recognized the starry-pelted leader. Moss-star blinked at her with worried green eyes.
"You have to evacuate SeaClan," she exclaimed. "The cliffs will be the most dangerous place. Get to flatter land!"
Shiftstar leapt to her feet at once, hurrying outside. "SEACLAN, we need to get out! Everyone, follow me, and hurry! We need to get out of camp! Now! Go!"
Suddenly the earth began to shake, and already rocks began to tumble along the cliff face. The fur on Shiftstar's back rose. There was a loud crashing sound, and a Griffonsea wailed from the nursery. "Shiftstar! The walls are collapsing in here!"
Shiftstar sprinted to the nursery, her eyes wild. A section of the wall was collapsing inward. Griffonsea had grabbed Blushkit but was caught by a large boulder. Pushing on the heavy rock, she managed to loosen it enough for Griffonsea to scramble out. Shiftstar caught sight of a crumpled tail sticking out of the rockes before a roaring sound flushed through her ears. She was yanked back by someone just as the cave crushed in on itself.
Griffonsea sat at her side, panting. "Beautykit was crushed," she wailed. "I wasn't fast enough. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry!"
Shiftstar shook her head, standing. "Grab Blushkit and get out of the cliffs. This is the most dangerous place to be during an earthquake!"
Griffonsea froze, her hair standing on end, then nodded, quickly grabbing the little wailing kitten and scrambling up the cliffs.
"Go! Everyone out!" Shiftstar yowled, helping her warriors get out of the collapsing cliffs.
Watching over day and night

Suddenly, Shiftstar was demanding they leave, her name, Mossstar, I blinked, looking towards the Medicine cat den... All those hebs, I almos rushed towards the den, but I flinched bak, as the ground started shaking, my eyes looked over at the Nursery, a female cat being lost, a kit; at that. My body slowly moved forward, and I yowled, as I rushed out of camp.. Sandstripe... He was at the river! There was no time to reach him, as I made m way towards the destination, on my way I almost passed by some Horsetail, I pulled some clumps of it out, most of it was damaged, but I'd take care of that later, feeling the ground underpaw shaking was frightening, bringing myself forward more, I made it more slowly to the destination with the herbs in my maw.

:｡✿*ﾟ‘ﾟ･✿.｡.:*.:｡✿*ﾟ’ﾟ･✿.｡ Kindsoul let out a yowl of fear, as the ground beneath her paws was shifting. "Rarepaw, where are you?!" She called for the young apprentice, terrified that she might loose her. She heard a cat making a very loud and shaking, but still smart remark back at her, and she rushed over the her. "Rarepaw, we have to get out of here! Now!" Kindsoul looked around for Sandstripe, the tom that had been so nice to her earlier. But she didn't see him, and she had to get Rarepaw to safety. Starclan let him be okay, let us be okay... let everyone be okay! She began to run in a direction opposite the cliffs, and paused when she heard Griffonsea's yowls. They'd lost a kit. Sadness swept through her. But that sadness changed to determination. She didn't want any other cat to loose their lives. :｡✿*ﾟ‘ﾟ･✿.｡.:*.:｡✿*ﾟ’ﾟ･✿.｡

I saw Kindsoul and Rarepaw appear. "Females, I'm going to go obtain the brown furred warrior, the male one" I mewed, I wasn't one to call cats by their names, I dropped the hers out of my maw, letting the horsetail hit the ground, my green gaze was now calm and collected, although I was worried, it was safe here. But was it at the river? I did not know for certain, I did not know at all, and all of it seemed to worry me greatly. My body suddenly moved forward, toward the direction of the river. I couldnt leave a claire behind, besides, if he got hurt, I'd blame myself, he didn't have to go herb hunting, I could've told him no, but, would that have stopped the dilemma at paw? (exit to river)

:｡✿*ﾟ‘ﾟ･✿.｡.:*.:｡✿*ﾟ’ﾟ･✿.｡ "Serenepaw, I'm coming with you!" Kindsoul called. She couldn't allow the apprentice to go off on her own. She turned back to Rarepaw, a look of worry on her face. Rarepaw said, 'not without me you aren't.' But it could be dangerous there, and Kindsoul wasn't willing to chance getting Rarepaw hurt. "No, you are not coming. I am a warrior, and you are an apprentice, and I'm ordering you not to come with me. If you must be helpful, the help the elders, but you're not coming." She said in a hard tone. She saw the shock in Rarepaw's eyes, as she never spoke like that to anyone. She softened her tone. "I won't let you be hurt, but I decision I make. Get to safety. If you are safe, I will be able to concentrate." Rarepaw nodded reluctantly, and Kindsoul chased after Serenepaw.
