"Doesnt matter to me. Surprise me." He sat down and looked around. It seemed like a nice place. He wondered when his first job would be and he actually looked foward to it.

Slaine looked toward the stairs where Shinto made his announcement. Was that the boy that had cheated him out of paying his bill? he wondered, eyeing Rikuo. He certainly didn't look the type to ever purchase personal entertainment such as prostitutes, though he shouldn't have surprised by it any. Many unexpected people did just that act, though quite more often than not, in secret. So, he was to be a dishwasher, hm? Slaine was half expecting him to be forced as a prostitute himself.. A silly thought, though. It was unheard of, in his eyes, for Lady B to force anyone into that occupation.

In any case, Slaine was glad for Shinto that he had finally gotten ahold of the boy. He seemed torn up and angered about the sex-and-run so this could only be a joy for him. Smiling inwardly, he started back for the kitchen to place in some orders.

Devon rolled his eyes, turning back to the dresser. He took two tall glasses and began to mix up a couple of Long Island Iced Teas. He turned back a few moments later with the drinks in his hands and walked over to the couch. He sat down next to Fate offering him the glass. "So... Is Fate your real name or is it just something you picked up from being so gosh darn good at what you do?" Devon asked, putting emphasis on the phrase "gosh darn good" and moving his head side-to-side as he said each of the three words.

"Go with the second one...more or less. It is a name I picked up while in the business. And dont even try to get my real name out of me. I dont tell anyone it."

Not a moment too soon, Shinto had Rikuo by the wrist and dragged him into the kitchen and placed the new boy directly in front of the sink were a mountain of dishes awaited to be cleaned. A quick slap on the back, "Have fun paying off your debt!" Just as fast as he came in, Shinto left the kitchen to get changed into some more.. appropriate clothing.

Rikuo sighed as he rolled up his sleeves and turned on the water.
What did I do to diserve this in life?

Devon shook his head. "I don't mean to pry, but you shouldn't be so quick to go on the defensive. Do I look or act the sort that would aim to hurt you?" He took a drink from his glass then let out a sigh. "Look, you have your reasons for keeping things to yourself and I respect that. If you're going to be in this house you'll be talking with other employees. I don't know how it was in your old house... Around here we don't just sit up in a room waiting for an anonymous stranger to barge in with fifty bucks." Devon spoke calmly. It wasn't any of his business to know Fate's past. His personality mattered to Devon, though.

Slaine had placed the customers' orders down for someone to pick up as he took up a few dirtied dishes himself. Bringing them toward the sink and setting them inside, he tried to offer a gentle smile. He could tell Rikuo was.. annoyed was it? in the least. Maybe it was worry he saw. Misery? Most practical. "Don't worry about Shinto," he said softly. He didn't speak up too well around those he didn't know. "He's not always this happy about revenge."

"Heh...is that so?" Rikuo huffed as he dove right into the water and began to scrub away, "Should I feel special that I was the exception?" He let out a heavy sigh and turned to the boy next to him, "Well, with a debt as large as the one I have, I guess I better learn some people's names." Exstending a soaking wet, sud covered hand, he held it out. "I'm- Oh.." he grabbed a cloth and dried his hand, "there, sorry. I'm Rikuo"

"Slaine," he answered, accepting the now dry hand for a shake after a short moment of only looking at it. "Uhm, I don't mean to really pry or anything, but.." Again his curiosity kicked in. "The gossip will be spreading soon enough as it is on the topic. Just to get a heads up.. why exactly did you run out on Shinto without payment? I mean, by just looking at you, you appear like you'd be an honest enough person." He leaned over onto the large sink's edge on a crooked elbow, cheek resting on a balled fist. "Was he not satisfying enough?" He idly flicked at some of the suds witin the water.

"Ill talk to people...but there is a limit to what I will say. Yo will find me talking about others more than myself...as soon as I have more of a history here."

Devon looked down at his drink, listening to Fate. He nodded his head, saying. "So I gather that you would rather ask me questions? Since my chatter would only involve interrogating you." He looked up at Fate, taking another drink.

Domonique picked up the order, and took it to the table with haste. He was determined to make up for his lateness, by out working everyone else. He took the orders over to the pick up counter, before heading back to clean the open tables. He set down on a chair in a corner when everyone had been waited on.

"I dont mind you asking me questions. Just as I said, theres a limit to how much I will tell." He took a sip of his drink then grinned slightly.

"Oh god.. if only that was the case," he replied and continued washing dishes. "He was..." a little blush appeared on his face as he remembered the night before shaking his head, disposing of his memories, "I just didn't know he was a prostitute until the morning after. We met in a club, he got stood up by his date, and I took him. How was I suppose to know his date was really a customer? As for the money..." he drifted off, "I can barely afford the life I'm living right now. Struggling student with a dead beat job and bills coming out the a**."

A bell on the second floor rang and leaning on the railing was Shinto, dressed like he was willing to please and looking as seductive as ever. Although not a word was said, everyone knew that the bell ment that the upstairs business... the infamous one that made the Gentleman's Club well known, was now open for business.
