Heyas. I'm Flicker_Rhem.
As far as supernatural experiences go, I've had quite a few but I'll share one of the first ones I had with you all.
When I was 17, I woke up at 4 something in the morning. I didn't know what had woken me up but I went downstairs to go to the bathroom. When I came out there was an older woman in colonial style chlothing looking at me. Her gray hair was pulled firmly back in a bun and she held her hands crossed over her stomach. Her dress was a dark color but I could see right through it. The woman stuck her nose high in the air and asked me, "Did you wash your hands, young lady?" I was so freaked out that I ran upstairs, turned on all the lights and stayed awake.
As far as activities go, I'm part of a Paranormal Investigator group. We're trying to raise money to get all the higher tech gear we want but it isn't going well.
I'm glad to be part of the guild!

I am a Live Action Role Playing Storyteller and I have been greatly interested in the occult for at least 7 years now. I know Vampire the Masquerade theories and I also am a folklore and religion buff.
Baba Yaga the Forest Witch is one of my favorite folklore stories and I want to learn as much as I can about the occult. Other than that I am currently a Student Senator at my college (until next month when I am finally free), and I enjoy doing artwork, especially painting.

HI!
It's been a while since I've checked on the guild, I apologize. I know, I only added to the problem of few people being active by not being active anymore myself, but it was really starting to be no fun when I never really got to be involved in discussion anymore. sad I'll try to stop by more often, maybe it'll pick up again!
Anyway, I'm curious about something I've noticed. This isn't a criticism, just a question: why do so many of the older posts get deleted? In absence of new discussion, I really enjoyed reading through the old stuff. It was part of the reason I left for so long: nobody was posting new stuff and the old stuff I liked so much was gone, so there wasn't a lot to read anymore! Plus I used to check on some of the older things for referrence purposes.
I'd like to humbly suggest that the mods at least consider leaving old stuff up. It's not doing any harm, there aren't a lot of new things so it's not like we've got pages and pages to wade through. I appreciate that you want to keep the guild neat-looking and easy to surf, but you've already accomplished that with the great sections/categories feature you added.

Hello all,
I'm new to gaia - as of 13 days ago, good number to choose - and have an interest in learning about the supernatural - anything from ghosts and demons to vampires and werewolves, and both people's opinions and knowledge on the supernatural.
I currently play the White Wolf LARP games (Vampire; the Requiem, Werewolf; the Forsaken, and Mage; the Awakening). About the only things I know about vamps, werewolves and mages stem from those games, but I hope to find reliable sources to further my knowledge on mythology and folklore.
There are only two experiences which may have been supernatural that I have experienced, but you'll find out about them in further posts.
On the non-supernatural side, I attend university in Australia, and I am interested in the military, current affairs, politics and - strange mix of interests - street cars and racing. I listen to any type of music except country and heavy metal, but prefer rap.

Hey. The name's Kariston or Asy, I'm not too big on the whole name thing. [Prolly cause I keep forgetting people's, so sorry for future cases.] Anyways, I'm a recently awakened psy vamp and am hoping to find some ends to expand my range of perception and ability.
I am capable of refining energy, creating psyballs, shielding, grounding, centering, seeing auras (grey), and every now and again empathy. My defensive skills leave alot to be desired though. crying
Big Interests are... Magick, Parnormal, Proving that psionics is real (though I'm a lil young to prove anything 16), and Kinetics (learning).
And on a side note, I am greatly influenced by the writings of Michelle Belanger and hope one day I can make as big of a difference in the paranormal world as her.
If anyone has some books on the paranormal on their harddrives I'm more than eager to read them so sendy please? cool

I just joined this guild, so I guess i'm new ^__^
I am really into palmreading, looking at auras, astral travel.
I love studying ghosts and other types of apparitions.
I have studied a tad bit of magic, witchcraft, paganism, wicca, etc.
And i'm still 16.

(This means I don't believe in a "god" of any sort.) Ironic yes, as I do believe in several different forms of the supernatural....Eh, I'm just weird like that. ^^ If you want my real opinion on "god", feel free to highlight below, but prepare to be offended.
My personal opinion on "god" is that he/she/it is something people use to blame their problems on. A sort of a, "security blanket", as one of my friends called it.
