Kieiru gave her a confused and frightened look, as he pulled her closer, as he sat her down on the bed, and hugged her tightly. His face burried into her shoulder, as tears ran hot down his cheeks. "I was afraid...I was so afraid...I was afraid...I was......I wanted your comfort...I wanted..." His body tremored with sobs, as he hugged her close. "I cant hate you...I dont hate you...I want you close to me more now than ever..."

Kieiru continued to sob, hiding his face from her. "I was afraid...I was so afraid...please...dont ever think I would hate you...I love you now...more than ever......dont ever leave me alone in a place like this....please...........I want to go home..."

Kieiru quivered slightly, as he hugged his arms to his body. He remained silent as he looked at the ground, for what seemed like hours. A nurse knocked on the door, carrying something that looked rather heavy for her small body. "I have something that may be able to replace your foot Kieiru-san." She set it down on the table, and showed him a small robotic foot that moved when signals from the brain reached it.

Kieiru's initial reaction was curiosity. He looked at it for a long time, then looked at Reigen and the nurse. "And...this will allow me to walk again?" "Oh yes! It should help you immensely, but youll want to use crutches when you use it..." Kieiru looked at Reigen and smiled, looking back at the nurse. "Ill use it." She nodded, as she lied him down on his back. A wave of panic rushed through Kieiru's body as he started to sweat, looking at Reigen, fear spreading across his face. The nurse prepared the foot, and set it against Kieiru's ankle. She picked up another piece that came with the foot, and set it against his ankle. She started to suture it to his leg, connecting the nerves to it. Once that was set in place, and Kieiru was biting down into something, she connected the foot with the piece that was required for the foot to fit.

Tears slid down Kieiru's cheeks as his teeth bit through whatever hed been biting. He clenched his teeth, his hand that had been holding Reigen's hand clenching greatly. He feared he might hurt her hand as he pulled it away, still clenched. The foot was fully connected, as the nurse tried to get him to move it. Kieiru winced as more tears slid down his cheeks, but the toes and foot moved, responding to his brain waves. "Good...Ill send in some pain reliever so you can sleep tonight...Im glad this works for you... (she looked at Reigen) Dont let him move much...even with the new foot in place, he needs it to let it completely heal..." She turned and left the room, smiling as she turned heading down the hallway.

Kieiru's pain subsided, as he opened his moist eyes to look at her. "Reigen..." He smiled slightly, as he sat up a little bit. "I didnt cry..." He was proud of himself. Of all the times hed been to the hospital, this one visit was easier. She was still with him, and she had been there when the most pain had been there. He smiled as he looked at the new foot, moving it around slightly. The nurse returned sometime later carrying a small cup of painkiller pills, and crutches for him. "You should actually be able to go home tomorrow...we just need to keep you overnight to make sure there arent any problems...and youre welcome to stay with him tonight Reigen-san." She set the cup down, and rested the crutches against the wall.

Kieiru smiled at her and nodded, as the nurse returned one last time, to suspend his foot in the air with a sling. He looked at her again and smiled, reassuring her it was alright. "Ill be here when you get back. Considering I cant go anywhere..."

Kieiru smiled when she kissed him, then watched her leave. He sighed as he looked out in front of him, his eyes heavy from lack of sleep. He rubbed his eyes, as he stared once more in front of him, a sudden wave of pain released in his leg.
