GRRRRRRRRRR. *stabs the new hardrive* Nothing will install correctly, so I cant hook up to the internet to get the right drivers for things, and whatnot.

...Eau. Um. I dunno what to tell you on that one except the obvious and I dun wanna get smacked right now.
Hope it all works out for ya soon...if nothing else works I guess you should call your ISP >.< *shrug* Just to make sure you've got the right connection info and stuff like that.

Doubt that its that.... I think I need a driver to connect to my internet card, so I can connect to the internet to get the drivers I need... x_x Smacked? By whom?

Well, I don't know what type of service you've got but I've heard that some types of modems (cable usually) have to have the ISP's configuration disc to get it set up properly, which is more than just the modem's drivers. I don't know if that's for the initial setup only or not, but if you swapped your hard drive completely, then that might be the problem.
However...internet card? Sounds like dial-up, maybe?
If that's it...I dunno eek
You might have to see if you can't hook that thing into a LAN somewhere or something so you can get the drivers that way...if you even can...or maybe set up a wireless network in your house (which with the router and network adapters for each terminal could put you back QUITE a lot), but I'll admit that I don't know too much about computers.
So, you know. I could just be talkin' total nonsense over here (it's actually pretty likely >.< )

WE are hooked up to a lan, right now, connected to a satelite modum, but with the new hardrive, it wont read it with my card I hook it up to, so I cant get it by using another computer... Anyways... Wireless internet is the smecks... not that I've moved around at all ever since we got it but... *shrug* At least I CAN if I want to!
And I think my laptop only has like 40 gigs, and like 30 of those are held up by my dads weird programming programs and other usless stuff to me. He's keeping this one as some kind of back-up if his own computers get messed up. Maybe I should ask him now if I'm allowed to start deleting parts of his stuff ninja
