Nala Treebear

Inside the darkness of the tree canopy, followed by the hallows of the trees. With the mush of leaves beginning to pile up along the roots. A small illusion took place. It resonated the air around the center complex of the forest. With particles of tiny lights that resembled fireflies. A black booted leg emerged. As the rest of the body began to take form. A young girl was caught coming out of this mist.
As she turned to check her surroundings. It was all clear. As the other hunter's of Nataboro, the hidden village cast with an illusion that only elves could enter. One by one the hunters gathered. As they waited for the last of their group to arrive. She spoke not a sound but used hand signals to scatter across the land. As for Nala, she stayed with the leader, Arwin. Since he and his followers were going to help Nala enter the city. Arwin was a friend of Sato, and he took the responsibility of watching Nala grow up. He also knew of her stubbornness. For this reason, he knew their be no stopping her until she found her brother. However, he wasn't going to let her enter the city or rather reach the barrier by herself. That was just asking for a death wish.

As they followed the path of wind. It became clear to them in the deep part of the woods that their would be an opening up ahead. As all five of the hunters scattered and keeping surveillance. That was when they began to see speckles of light.

Luna sighed when the man, now fox, nodded his head as if to say yes, than shook it as if to say no. She must have been a bit off about what he was, but it didn't bother her too much, she she simply sighed and followed him when he made a small noise and began to walk off. He seemed to want her to follow, and even though he couldn't communicate, she would. She wouldn't exactly follow though, so she walked along his side instead. She grinned as a familiar - yet completely different sight came into view. This isn't... she began, trailing off.

She watched as Damian changed into his human form, stopping beside him for a moment as he put his shoes on. It can't be... she said softly, her eyes dimming slightly in dismay. This couldn't the WAS village. No... it couldn't be. She glanced at him for a moment, than back at the village, not truly sure what to do. She then glanced back at the forest, her flames reaching the tree tops and dancing across the forest. Black smoke was rising, and she sighed. She couldn't simply let the whole forest burn down. She glanced at Damian once more with a sigh, then said, I have to fix that. and directing her gaze towards the flames.

Menace

User Image

"What matters most is not the past or future..."

It was obvious that Miri was aware that at least something was there when she suddenly went quiet. Menace stopped as well. With a calm and stony expression, the IS rebel quietly leaned with his back to the wall of the building the zombie was in. Seeming to stop breathing altogether, the man held his rifle up to his chest with hands ready to put it to quick use. The wait began.

It wasn't long before the silence was broken. The creak of the wood floor gave away Miri's position and Menace reflexively snapped into action. Spiraling around with weapon quickly leveled at the place the sound appeared to come from, the rebel unloaded several rounds of magical blasts that ripped through the building and raised clouds of dust and smoke. Without waiting for the debris to clear, Menace rushed in through the hole he made in the wall without hesitation. The roof appeared to be weakened and coming down shortly, so the IS Rebel gave the room a quick scan, his green eyes penetrating the thick clouds of dust and falling chunks of the roof. There was not corpse to be found, and then the realization of Miri's location was made.

"Behind me..."
Menace said in scolding of himself as he twirled around with rifle raised in a defensive manner, firing rounds as he spun, while he leaped backwards. Whether or not the magical blasts hit Miri didn't matter much. The violent blowing apart of another section of house and roof was more than the ceiling could take as it finally caved in on all those within the structure.

"...but the present..."

(characters within the mountain/hill chamber that is the WAS village will hear this commotion)

Damian turned to look at Luna as she began to speak, but only looked at her for a moment before turning to look at the village in thought; his expression plainly blank. "I'm a fox, but I'm the size of a wolf now, it's like I've been altured." Damian said lifting his right hand up and looking at it right before Luna pointed out that she had to do something about the fire. Damian turned to look at the fire, he was thinking the same thing Luna was, he was born in the forest after all. "I'll help too. I don't think being a Was or Is matter anymore." Damian said fully turning to look at the fire. Damian extended both arms forwards, palms facing the ground, and closed his eyes. His energy reached out to the dirt of the forest, and the more he consentrated the more his hands shook. This wasn't an act of the strain, but more like the strength connection with multiple strands of sand his energy was touching.

The smallest pieces of ground underneath the burning trees which fell began to crawl up the trees slowly, before picking up speed and covering up the fire and trees completely, putting out the fire. Multiple trees were put out by this act and probably most of them, but not all the ones at the entrance were out. One by one the trees at the entrance of the forest were begining to go out by the sand in the Barren Lands Damian was using. Damian had put out alot of the fire, but there was still quite a lot left, but before he could begin on those Damian heard the sounds of something far behind him. Damian's arms went down to his sides and Damian turned around to look at what was there as the sand he was controling fell to the earth. "What was that?" Damian asked turning all the way around.

Luna smiled slightly when Damian said he would help, nodding, then watching as he raised his hands. She sighed and began swirling a huge ball of water around in hands, only growing in size. While he was engulfing the burning trees in sand, her ball of water was growing. After a while, she continued to create density and add more water to the swirling ball without increasing the size. She was forming enough water in her hands to create a small rain storm, putting out the fire that was left.

She sighed and shot the ball of water in the air above the remaining part of the fire, making it rain hard right about where everyone who was in the forest was fighting, or fleeing. Where she had begun the fire in the first place. She grinned as she watched the water raining down and spreading, but then spun around at the commotion she heard behind her. She looked at Damian and grinned, saying, I don't know, but I'd like to find out. and darted off towards the sound.

Damian looked at her with a nod before running with her. He had no idea what that could be, but he knew he needed to be caution around these newer folk. Damian pulled out a card using his left hand with a picture of a card on both sides, he then unsealed the card and put the card which was used to seal the spear in his pocket using his left hand. Damian was holding the spears mid section with his right hand at this point, he had straightened his arms out in a slant away from his body alining the pole with his arm as his left hand was clenched into a fist and slanted as well. "So were you an Is or a Was? You know, five hundred years ago?" Damian asked looking ahead of the path in case anything happened.

Relentless soldiers contiued attacking, pursuing, hunting. Aeora did not hesitate as she split apart from others at the forest's edge. She felt a great heat behind her, and knew that someone had summoned fire. An unwise move, considering their location. Aeora found this especially distasteful as she felt the pain of the forest up from her feet and throughout her body. It was a dull pain, as if something felt in a dream, though it simply made Aeora move faster.

Trees were screaming to her as they fell around her person, soldiers having cut them down without a second thought. Aeora was able to move through the shrapnel, but for the first time in quite a while she felt pure anger. As she kept moving, in and out of Videre, her rage grew - a boiling acid rising from her chest and settling behind her eyes, making her see nothing but the tragedy around her. She forgot herself. Turning on the spot, she shot back to where the soldiers continued their pursuit and ultimately would have been futile, considering Aeora's speed. She did not care.

Heart racing, head pounding, eyes set on her target, body moving at incredible speeds and gaining momentum every minute, Aeora drew the knives attatched to her fingers. She moved past one of the soldiers present, and the four parallel cuts she made took a moment to appear before their effect became evident - the soldier dropped his rifle as his head slid apart, now in separate slices, the slices separated by clean cuts from ear to ear. As soon as possible, Aeora turned once more, once again heading back for the remaining soldiers.

Unconsciously Aeora entered Videre with a scream, the feeling carrying over into her separated structure, reverberating throughout her cells like ripples from her mind. She moved through a soldier, futilely shooting at what he couldn't see, and while she remained in his being she returned to her normal form, still moving through him with the momentum she had gained, effectively ripping his body apart.

Eyes like hell she turned to face the remaining soldier, who just saw Aeora rematerialize and began shooting once more, but found that his bullets hit nothing but air. For Aeora had once again entered Videre in this entire event which took mere seconds. Aeora's dispersed self rushed at the man and moved into his being through the mouth and pores on his skin - but there she remained for a moment. The man would have been able to feel something - something strange and foreign - as if there was a head sickness plaguing his nervous system, his organs, his blood, his bones. Something faint and ominous. He would have only a moment to register this emotion before Aeora rematerialized from within him, her matter forcing his out from his useless body which was now in near unidentifibale pieces. His weapon dropped to the earthen floor.

Aeora stood steadfast, breathing heavily. She was now covered in blood, but in the next moment it all ran off her in one swift, synchronized motion to the ground. Without enemies in the immediate vicinity, Aeora had space to think. The forest remained burning, though it was now quite a ways behind her, so the inaudible screams were duller than they had been previously. The anger that plagued her began to recede, and Aeora registered what she had done. She stared at the gore around her, her face settling once more into its calm composure. "Such a mess..." she whispered to no one in particular, the forest being preoccupied with its pain.

Aeora could feel movement behind her, and knew there would be more soldiers coming soon enough, once they found or fought their way around the fire and the others who had been with her. Without a look behind her, Aeora quickly moved forward, heading for the one familar place she knew in this strange new world. She did not know what had become of the WAS village, but as she moved she saw mental flashbacks of great destruction. She noticed that once again, she could only get a picture once and a while, between a searing pain that she got in her skull when looking into the past. This effect appeared to be exclusive to the changed WillBe she had come across, and Aeora found it as distasteful as when she had first experienced it back outside the great walls into the city.

Aeora heard what sounded like a collapse of stone construction in the direction she was heading, but paid it little mind. She was absorbed in her thoughts and her deeds. She thought that she would need to meditate on what she had done; if she was ever given the unlikely opportunity, that is.

Soon after the crashing noises, it began to rain, and Aeora noticed some sort of sand cloud as well. Both were not of natural occurance, and it seemed that individuals were attempting to put out the raging fire. This did not escape Aeora's notice.

Aeora would arrive at the WAS village within moments.

Luna kept her pace fast enough, but also slow enough that the man would be able to keep up easily. It was slower than she was used to, but it wasn't exactly slow either. She payed no attention to his withdrawn spears, as she saw no reason for him to use them on her. And if he tried - he would probably think about doing it first, and right now, his mind was open for her to hear all his thoughts. It was convenient, but really annoying when there were too many people around. When asked if she was an IS or a WAS 500 years ago, she chuckled slightly and grinned, saying, I had just become a WAS. And you? Flashbacks of that night drifted into her head as if it were yesterday, and she sighed slightly, annoyed once again for losing so much valuable time.

Damian listened to her reply, and being a recent Was it was no wonder he didn't recognize her if she was a Was for a while. "I'm a Was, I have been a Was for a long time, but I think I've got another alliance to choose now." Damian said knowing of the choices he has to make, the only thing he didn't need to change would be his personality and his way of fighting.
At the same time Damian and Luna heard that sound, so did Hoshi, and since she was much deeper into the village Hoshi would be the first one to get there. "What on earth?" Hoshi said as she neared the commotion. Hoshi was right there to the structer, and since she was unsure of whom was in there Hoshi drew her scythe and walked slowly towards the fallen building.

Ichigo found herself covered in sand, she didn't remember much but
light. Ow, she thought her head on fire, "I'm dying, I know it, I'm
dead." she said turning over in the sand. "If this is Heaven, I would
hate to see hell. Gezz," she got up out of the sand pile, "this is worse
than Utah!"

It was hot, and laying in that sand made things worse. The only problem
is that she was covered in fine grains from head to toe. Ichigo sat
there in the sand trying to come up with a thought of where she
was. "Well," she said looking around, "at least it can't get any worse."

Ichigo looked around, there was another person not far from her;
only about ten or fifteen feet. Surprisingly, saying that didn't cause
it to rain, Ichigo frowned. "Darn you irony. HEY!" Ichigo yelled to
try and get the other girl to see her. The girl was in a ball gown,
Ichi-chan's mind went back, 'wait, the ball...' Ichigo looked down
then started to dig through the sand, she stopped when she hit the
fuzzy body. It was grey, Ichigo slowly uncovered it, "Kitty!" she said
pulling up that cat that she had found in the ally. "We are both dead!"
she started to cry, "Wait I thought only dogs went to heaven?"

What the hell?! was all that could run through her mind at the moment. Soldiers coming from everywhere, bullets from odd looking guns, sandstorms, and magical people seeming to swarm around her, all fleeing and fighting in different directions. Not only that, but this 'dream' was becoming more real by the second. The heat was getting worse, and she started sputtering and coughing from all the sand. Her skin was dry and she was starting to get thirsty. But at the moment, she was more concerned with all the bullets coming at her. This is no dream! I can feel everything! She ducted to avoid getting shot, but she knew she had to get out of there, and the confusion was setting in. Just the thought of her being attacked made her want to pass out, and she was feeling like she was about to, conflict of any kind would make her nervous. Getting shot at with weapons she's never seen by strangers was making her woozy. She began to step backwards as bullets whizzed by her, and soon she broke into a run into the opposite direction. Sand was clouding her vision and she couldn't really see, and she was terrified out of her mind. Where was she going to go? Should she let herself be taken prisoner? She saw some others who were still in the waste-land type place. It was almost like magic that she wasn't getting hit with bullets, but the soldiers were right on top of her. She was just about ready to give up. What about Harry?! She could no longer see him, but she did hear someone call who was close by,(Ichigo) and she went in that direction as a last resort. She didn't know what to do. "We have to get out of here!"

You seem so interesting...

Ichigo turned to the girl(Cheyenne) who she had called to before,
"I know," she said franticly holding up the cat, "Tokiko is dehydrated."
Ichigo started to pet the cat, and got up and walked over to the
girl(Cheyenne). "We should start trying to find others. Oh, my name
is Ichigo by the way, and this is Tokiko." Ichi-chan said holding the

I told you to PRESERVE your aura! The Chaos Dragon yelled as Dark began to push himself up. His protective veil was beginning to crumble around him like glass the more he moved, leaving blue colored shards on the floor before fading away into nothing at all. "I know..but i didn't expect them to trap me.." Dark muttered, making a stand.

The footsteps of more soldiers surrounded him and their numbers kept increasing. "This isn't good.." The more he and everyone else killed the more the soldiers kept coming. There of course was a limit to soldiers but fighting against them all would no doubt leave everyone fatigued and weak and that would be unwise given that they knew not only what happened to bring them here, but what to expect. Whoever these soldiers were working for they must have attacked for some reason.

Once again the soldiers hoisted their weapons to properly fix their aim on him, and Dark grunted before turning to the forest that he had seen earlier. Some soldiers seemed to be patrolling the outside as if waiting for something.Maybe others had retreated there. Clever.. Smoke rose from the forest, hinting a fire but it was better in cover than in open view. Dark in no way saw himself as a leader and never would, but continuing this fight was stupid. He gripped his blade, and one of the ember-like embles on the blade burned red. "BREAK TO THE FOREST!!" Dark yelled suddenly, and the soldiers once again blasted away. He waited however, even as the blasts got closer.

I hope I don't hurt anyone.. He thought as he quickly struck the ground with his blade. With ease the ground opened up beneath him in a good twelve foot radius while his flames unfurled from his katana and quickly spread from the initial impact, engulfing Dark (who was no once again protected in his aura veil) before tearing away at the ground like a tidal wave of flames. The blasts that were fired upon him were quickly overcome as the soldiers who were near him who slowly melting within their armor prior to their armor hardening them breaking into ashy parts.

His flames stretched as far as a hundred feet from his spot in all directions (but rode the wall beside him skyward), burning most things in the vicinity over time into hard ash, almost coal-like. Beyond there was a wave of heat, much hotter than the wasteland itself, and a shockwave that doubled many things overs. His Chaos Bursts had three parts: The initial impact, the wave of flames, and the shockwave. Needless to say if one was close by they were doomed.

The wasteland was charred black from where Dark stood and where the flames had stretched, remnants of his flames dancing upon the ground and on the bodies of several soldiers. Dark stood from a crouched position, heavily breathing as he looked around. Suprisingly he saw that the wall was still intact, if not burned a little. But he wasted no time. More were bound to come, so without delay he rushed towards the forest. He didn't want to look around..fearing he may have killed friendly.

RoRo.. He called, her being the first and only one he could actually communicate without sight.

Chunks of wall flew across the house in the blast caused by Menace’s barrage of gunfire. Miri raised the magic rifle to her shoulder, but before she could get the intruder in her sights, the roof started to crack as the walls crumbled. She leaped out of the building headfirst, great orbs of blue following her out the door. The ground met her without forgiveness as the house behind her had caved in. She sat up and faced the heap of rubble, the dust settling. Her forearms were red with road rash, but she didn't feel the sting.

Miri brushed herself off and stood up, wondering if the soldier had lived through the collapse. She shouldered the rifle and picked her way over the debris, ultimately hoping to find her shoes. Idiot soldiers.. Where is the body? Miri stopped and stared into the wreckage. She considered firing into the mess but thought better of it. No.. I can't bring more attention to this village if I want to stay off the radar.. Miri crouched and peered into the shadows created by the fallen roof.

"You're tripn', dancer. I dig it. I loop myself in sayin' you should dance with me, but I'll take requests since you got such a nice tune..." Luna said with dreamy eyes and a soft smile as she sat up from her bed and crawled over to Kimi. Sitting in front of the wolf girl, the mysterious inmate in a raggedy one piece of clothing slowly leaned forward and pressed her forehead to Kimi's and closed her eyes. An unseen connection was made as music began to play in Kimi's ears, and the sound grew louder and louder until nearly deafening, and then nothing...

Kimi would open her eyes to see a world of white. There was nothing as far as the eye could see except white nothingness. She floated in air clothed in clean white. There was no obvious light source, but the world of nothing was clearly lit. The only sound was a low hum of some sort that seemed to come from everywhere at once.

"Over here, Dancer." a young man called suddenly coming into view. Floating over to Kimi to be within arm's reach, he greeted her and encouraged her to ask her questions again,"They call me Disc. You've been looping some song about questions. You gotta know, so this club is the place to get in the know. They have rippers in the box. Go ahead and spin that beat." The grin Disc had was very familiar to the one the Luna girl had back in the cell.
