[Axel: Angel Grove: Streets]
“If I may?”
He raised his hand like some kid in class who had an idea to share.
“ Espionage is what I do best- AND I can teleport just fine. Point me in one direction and I can snoop it out for you guys then check back, sound good?” Axel offered now that he could brush the dust off himself. He sported a few scrapes, and figured he’d have a few bruises new day- but he was good to go.
“And can’t Big Blue-“ he asked pointing at Seymour,” he can turn into lights and book it just as quickly, you wanna tag along? Can’t count on Demyx, that guy’s a chicken.”

[John.:Angel Grove:.What once was a city is now... well...]

Cory left without a word from John, and he continued to stand there kind of dumbfounded that Cory about what to do next. Obviously the group would have noticed John's transformation during the battle, and up until now, he had not took other people's opinions on the matter into consideration. Moreover, he had already started on a bad footing with many in the group for his comment in the Land of Dragons... which was definitely not going to help the situation.

What he didn't do to the group, however, was lie. Somehow finding a hole in his suit from injury John quickly relieved himself and rushed back to the group to hear Axel say something about espionage.

[Cory .:. Angel Grove/Hawaii .:. Base of the Volcano]

The ronin crossed his arm and stared up at the volcano, almost disapprovingly as he said aloud, "You know, I was just gonna see what was on the other side of this island..." A smile crept across his face as he studied the familiar structure stuck in the side of the volcano, recognizing it as the infamous Rita Repulsa's lair. "Didn't expect to come across this, though. But I guess it's kind of expected, since everything that was in the sky was forced to the ground, like those space pirates and Kuja's ego."

If Cory had been truly fascinated by the new location of the moon base, he would have probably sustained some sort of injury. However, feigning interest was one of his strong points. The Heartless that had crept up behind the rogue had not gone unnoticed, sending pangs of joy through Cory's body. The moment the first Shadow jumped at him, the ronin had already turned to face them, crashing his flaming fist into the creature's face and sending it flying backwards as it dissipated. "C'mon, guys, you can't give me a break for even a few minutes? Who's controlling you, huh? The most persistent villain known to man?" More lunged in, prompting Cory to retaliate once more. This time, however, Cory only struck with his hands and feet- no assistance from Resolve or Empowerment. While the strikes did not destroy the Shadows, it certainly did knock them away from him.

"Actually, the more I fight you guys, the stronger I feel. Hell, I feel like I could take you on with my bare hands, no weapon or magic involved!"

~

"Shaddup, ya numbskull. Reckless would be me taking some kind of chance, and let me tell you that against this, there's absolutely no chance of them getting the upper hand!" Cory rushed forward, sending several shadows sprawling with a sweeping kick before grabbing one by the antennae. The ronin swung the Heartless around, slamming it into an incoming Shadow and destroying both in one blow. Using the momentum built up from the sweep kick and the spin, Cory sent his fist into another lunging Heartless, plunging his arm inside it up to the elbow before it vanished in a cloud of smoke.

"See what I mean? Unless it's something more than a Shadow, I can do this with even trying!" The ronin turned to the remaining Shadows just in time to watch them sink away into the ground, undoubtedly to return with reinforcements. Cory turned his attention back to the moonbase, making sure to get a good look at it before sticking his hands in his pockets.

~

"Nah... I just realize that up there are probably a ton of strong opponents. The Replicas are here, after all, and they have to have a place to return to, right? Plus there's Ooze, his Tengu Warriors... And a lot of Darkness, that's for sure. As strong as I am, I can't take them all on alone."

~

Cory shook his head, sticking his hands in his pockets before beginning to make his way around the Volcano. "They wouldn't team up with me, regardless of the circumstances. Besides, that logic could just as easily be applied to the Replicas. The other Earthlings are my enemies so long as they threaten this world's existence, so why not ally myself with the Replicas?" The rogue grinned, opening a dark portal and stepping inside as he said, "But all that aside, I've just attained an interesting bit of information. We know where the villains' nest is..."

[Hook's Ship .:. Deck]

Cory emerged on the deck of what was essentially the rogues' home base. He looked around for a moment before shouting, "OI! HOOK! We need to move this ship somewhere a bit less conspicuous! I don't like that disgusting set of abs knowing where we are, especially since he could probably destroy this whole ship with a single lightning bolt."

Sayrike::Swamp--Tia Dalma's

Sayrike had been so incredibly distracted by her concern over the other boat that she failed to pay attention to Kyle. Unfortunately, their arrival was faster than she anticipated so she didn't get a proper chance to think of a good question. As she carefully jumped out of the boat, she said to Kyle in a muted voice, "Sorry, I guess I'll have to clarify next time..." but her words trailed off as Tia Dalma stepped out of the low hut. She cursed her scatterbrained mind.

Seeing Tia Dalma was certainly less unsettling than seeing Sora, a computer graphic, or Sparrow, who had been played by a well-known actor. She seemed more normal, at least, and Sayrike could easily believe this to be a real place. Wait, wasn't it all real anyway? It had to be.

[ Billy ; Seymour : Angel Grove : City Ruins ]

"That would not be advisable," Seymour responded to Axel, looking toward the Nobody apathetically. "I spent a large portion of my mana simply trying to end that battle as quickly as possible. Should I run into a group of equal power to those we just faced, I fear I would not have enough energy to take them out."

"Well, I guess you guys could remain to try and protect the city, should anything or anyone decide to attack again," Billy said, rubbing his chin in thought. "It's just that... well, myself and the other rangers are useless. We need to figure out something, but until then we might as well be just like the other kids."

"That is probably the better plan. The Replicas are unlikely to be there after our prior battle, so it should be safe. We can stay and make sure the city remains in good hands," Seymour said, looking to Billy with a raised brow and smile. "But either way, you must hurry. Something terrible must have happened if you've lost your powers."

"Well, let's hope not," Billy said, looking more concerned now than ever. "Thanks, guys, really. I'm sorry to leave this on you, but I have to go!"

Without another moment, Billy waved and began to run toward the mountain, jumping over rubble here and there.

"If you still wish to help out, you could look for Ivan's lair," Seymour said, once more looking to Axel. "That ranger pointed out its location, and someone such as yourself should have no trouble, hmm?"

[ Hook : Angel Grove : Hook's Ship Deck ]

"I don't like having visitors at all, boy!" Hook shouted, glaring over the ledge near the wheel as he looked down at Cory. However, with the boy's return, Hook took the steering wheel into his hand and sent it spinning, the sails all being dropped by Heartless above- the ship immediately began to head toward a less-inhabited corner of the Hawaiian island."Why do you insist on bringing bilge rats onto my ship to begin with?!"

[Alan :: Angel Grove :: Streets]

"Thank you, Tyue." Alan nodded politely. The summons were interesting . . . Alan would have to meet them all some day. They were fighting together, after all, just as much as the other Earthlings.

Stretching briefly, Alan walked over to the center of the ongoing discussion, dropping a quick regen on anyone injured who crossed his path, just to help with the healing. When he reached his destination, he spoke:

"Hi, um, excuse me, but I've been away. Could someone explain the situation to me, please? Has the city been abandoned?"

{Kyle : Angel Grove: City}

Holding onto Dani when she gave him a hug, he was relieved to find that she wasn't too hurt. He accepted her weight on him and casually shifted to grip her if she fell. And he may have been using her as a bit of a cane because that whole summoning thing really took it out of a fellow. Especially when you try to stop a rampaging giant from destroying a city. Not that fun. "I'm glad to see you aren't too hurt Dani. Exhausted, but pretty much healthy is always a good way to come out of a battle. And yeah, no worries. I'm definitely fine to stand. To tell the truth, it's my first summon too. Almost had one earlier, but the battle ended before the need arose..." Kyle left off there, pondering what Azreal had said. They would most definitely be meeting again. The only question was when.

In the back of his mind, Kyle processed that Kyla's summon was named Tyue. He would have to make sure to call it that more often. What was more important was the fact that the rangers had lost their powers. No teleportation would make that two mile walk a pain in the a**, especially when walking would be somewhat difficult. And then Kyla mentioned something about splitting up. Kyla. Hmm. Something he needed to tell her....

"Oh, shizz. Kyla, meant to tell you this earlier but we kinda got distracted. Your debt with Cory is nullified. Happy happy joy joy." He smiled at her, hoping she wouldn't object. After all, it'd been a really hard battle to win, and if they had continued, Kyle couldn't have said who would have won.

[Quistis :: Swamp :: Tia Dalma's]

Quistis was sitting in the dingy with the blonde fighter and the silver haired...man. The codpiece he was wearing struck her as kind of odd to wear as armor. He was obviously a mage by the water wheel he was using to propel the boat earlier, but now he just sat and did nothing.

Leaving the rowing to the blonde fighter. She crossed one leg over the other, looking as they arrived at their destination. A dark woman spoke to the one called 'Jack', her accent quite thick and mysterious. She made a mental note to check out more about this place. Carefully stepping off of the boat, Quistis stayed at the back of the group, keeping a careful eye on each one.

[Dani :: Angel Grove :: City]
Dani’s smile increased when she felt Kyle’s arms go around her in order to keep her steady. She personally was not one for physical contact usually but craved it in another sense.

“Thank you.”Dani said as they walked towards the rest of the group. “I just wanted to make sure that everyone was okay. I saw everyone get tangled up and Leviathan told to summon him. Summons are pretty powerful creatures huh?”

When they reached the group Dani looked down at Kyla’s summon and smiled at it. It seemed actually really cute and was defiantly to Dani like a plushie you could squeeze. Dani then refocused herself to what Kyla was saying the rest of the group.

“Personally,” Dani started off hoping someone would hear her, “I agree with Kyla. Right now we just finished a huge fight with a lot of enemies and it is not good if we spread ourselves too thin. I think sticking together is a good idea.” Dani then flashed a small smile at both Kyla and Kyle and hoped that they could all just stick together.

Jacob ll Swamp ll Tia Dalma's

"Off we go." Jacob said as he dove out of the rocking boat onto the rickety dock. Almost instantaneously, Tia Dalma came walking out to greet Jack. Jacob seemed to welcome more people to the group. None of this was strange to him. All he could do was smile. What did strike him as odd was Quistis. She was also so quiet and never seemed there all together. As everyone gathered around, Jacob shuffled his way back to to her. "Are you alright, hun? You seem so quiet since getting out of the hoosgow. C'mon! Where's the piss and vinegar?" He rocked back and forth on the balls of his feet, a grin stretched across his face.

[Axel: Angel Grove: Streets]
Lobster Head had a point. He could check out the lair without any problems, if things got difficult he could leave. Right? It would give them all the upper hand if he found something interesting.
It would suck if they got another drop in on them again. They were spent. He seemed ok for the most part and could put up a fight if something happened- but he wasn’t sure about the rest of them.
Besides, weren’t they supposed to be looking for Mickey?

[Kyla: Angel grove : Streets]
“Nullified? Really?!” She could hardly believe her ears- since when was Cory so nice? “ J- just how did that happen? Did you guys really talk him out of it or something?” It didn’t take a genius to notice how diplomatic Alan seemed to be. Kyle had a cool head on his shoulders- together perhaps they convinced Cory to let her go.
But there was a nagging feeling in her gut that told her not to be so confidant. Things like these always seemed to come back to bite her straight in the a**.

“ Well then- if you guys can keep an eye on yourselves, I can take a peek at This Ivan guys place. That way no one has to split up.”
Axel wandered on by them, starting the motions foe opening the corridor of darkness for himself.

Narration:

King's Quest

Upon their arrival at Tia Dalma's, the group was united with the infamous crew of the Black Pearl, including Barbossa himself, revived from the dead by Tia Dalma herself. Elizabeth and William, though pleased to see Jack alive and well, had trouble showing it due to the personal conflict between the trio. While there, the situation was explained to them: the other six Pirate Lords had already arrived at Shipwreck Cove, where they awaited the final three- Barbossa, Jack Sparrow, and Elizabeth Swann, the latter of which had been made Pirate Lord of Singapore in the place of Sao Feng after a failed kidnapping. The old crew of the Black Pearl had sailed into Davy's Locker, only to find the Pearl and not Jack. As such, they've had nothing to do but sit on their hands and wait these past few days.

Finally filled in on the scenario, the group wasted no time- they boarded the rescued Black Pearl (which they'd hidden away in a swamp alcove), left behind the Challenger, and began their journey to Shipwreck Cove. Roughly an hour has passed.

Queen's Quest

The group decided to remain in the city in order to protect and help any teenagers and children left behind in the wake of the attacks, while Axel vanished and made his way into Ooze's base to collect information. Shortly afterward, the Earthlings received a fuzzy communication from Alpha, informing them of what happened: Ooze had gotten into the base, destroyed it, and left Zordon in a critical condition. The six Power Rangers had been teleported to a distant world in order to find another source of power- the Ninjetti. There was no telling when they would return.

They also found out, much to their dismay, that Beatrix and Yuffie had been put under Ooze's mind control, meaning they would inevitably have to fight the duo. Immediately, the became worried about Axel- would he return safely to the group?

Hours passed, and the group fought countless, small swarms of Heartless, and even some of Ooze's Tengu Warriors- purple, bird-like warriors who were skilled in kung-fu, if a little goofy and incompetent. They have not gotten word from either Axel, Alpha, or the Rangers, and though they had promised to protect the city, they were beginning to get antsy- they needed to pick up on King Mickey's trail before it was too late, and all they were doing was sitting around. The Heartless and Tengu weren't even going after the children they wanted to protect- they were going after the fighters themselves.

Now, as the early afternoon begins to creep along, they're left wondering... what are they going to do?

[[Captain's Note: All groups are now back on the same time-line. It's early afternoon, maybe 1, 2-ish at the latest. King's Quest is on the Pearl, Queen's Quest is in the city.]]

[ Kyle ; Sora ; Zexion ; Kuja : The Caribbean : Black Pearl ]

Kyle had remained at the bow of the ship, watching as they sailed forward into the Caribbean toward their destination. They'd been on board for maybe an hour now, and though they'd left the swamp with good weather, they seemed to be heading into a storm. The crew had even been ordered to take preparations the moment the black, ominous clouds had been spotted in the distance. The seas had grown rough, the wind was beginning to howl, and yet even above all of that, the sound of thunder could be heard in the distance.

I don't remember any storms... then again, in the movies, it took days to travel from one island to another instead of hours, so who knows what else has changed.

Still, it only seems to be in the direction we're going...

Kyle held on to the rail as the ship bobbed up and down in the heavy waves, a frown on his features. As long as they got to Shipwreck Cove before the East Indian Trading Company did, then everything would work out. Still, that only guaranteed Calypso... what of Triton or What's-his-face? The list led them to believe all three would be gathered... yet they'd had no contact with mermaids or Atlanteans.

What if we're making the wrong choice...?

[ Seymour : Angel Grove : City Streets ]

The group, now lacking Axel, had made their way through the city, finding that the majority of it was, in fact, still in good shape. They had lucked out- Elleon had only managed to take out a few city blocks. Still, the complete lack of anyone in their mid-twenties or higher was... disturbing. For the rest of the group, anyway. Seymour was, of course, hardly more than interested in the scenario.

Oh, sure, he was concerned for the adults' well-being, he'd said. Of course he hoped that they were safe. But what good could they do them in the city, but look after their younglings? There was no use fretting over things that could not be controlled, he'd said- and he spoke the truth. Still, it was impossible not to catch the glances that came his way.

How does Kuja do it? They trust him so easily, and yet they can barely look at me without cringing.

No matter. Even if they don't trust me, they need me.
