Mystic entered the Great Hall, dreary-eyed, for a bite of breakfast. Hmm, I think I'll have some eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, and some pumpkin juice to wash them down, she thought.

One of the Headmaster's "Happy students" was currently pouring over a large sheet of parchment while trying to stab a bit of scrambled egg without looking at her fork. After the fifth consecutive stab-and-miss, she released a little cry of frustration and turned her attention away from the parchment to discover that there were no more eggs on her plate. She looked up and noticed a very smug-looking Barn Owl snapping up and swallowing the last bit of egg. "Artemis!" Her owl spread his wings and flew away before Shelia could do anything. "Drat it all!"

Lily walked into the great hall. Her heals clicked as she walked passed the table of stupents, keeping an eye out for troublemakers. Not seeing anything too terrible, she walked around the head table and sat down in her seat, towards the end. She pulled out a copy of Witch Weekly and began reading it as she aimlessly twirled her wand inside of her coffee cup, filling it up..

Shelia took out her frustration on one of the windows, sending an invisible, but harmless, color-changing hex at it. The spell bounced off of the glass at an angle and struck another student, turning them--hair, clothes, skin and all--a bright turquoise. Shelia ducked her head and became very interested in chosing a rasher of bacon from the plate in front of her.

A new teacher enters and quietly pins up a notice by the doors. poster Have you ever wondered what the difference was between Muggle and Wizard literature? Have you been considering a career in wizard publishing? Would you just like to learn how to write fiction? Good news! A new class has been added and is available to students of all age levels and houses: Wizard Creative Writing Class. Make your way over to the Charms corridor and turn left at the tapestry of Ismarelda the Insane. The WCWC is the third classroom down on your right. See you there!
