Farfarello chewed on the first part of the riddle silently. Dances, but has no legs... It's not the wind; things dance ON the wind... Shadows? Debatable. Breathes with no lungs? Again, the wind, perhaps, but the third part... Lives and dies? ... The demon wanted to say the wind, but was unconfident; the wind did NOT dance, and he would not spend his entire existance serving this little thing. He thought harder, wandering off track only to think sarcastically, Well, what would be worse; serving this little pest or going back to HELL where I'm supposed to be? He could nearly feel the fire scorch his skin when it donned on him; fire! "It's fire," he said simply, pleased with himself, though trying to hide it. "The answer is 'fire'."

"WRONG!" exclaimed the tiny little pixel of a being. She danced around in her suspended state with glee, before stopping mid-step and counting on her fingers, silently. ... ... ...
After a minute, Pondy sighed. "Correct."
Pondy then fluttered (without wings) up another foot and pointed at Jaeto. She was pointing down.
"You. Quiet one." Pondy stated her next riddle:
"What can run but never walks, has a mouth but never talks, has a head but never weeps, has a bed but never sleeps?"
Jaeto scratched his head, sorry to be caught up in this dilemma. Riddles had never been his specialty.
Mouth... doesn't talk. Head... doesn't weep. Runs... doesn't walk. Bed... doesn't sleep. Personification? Jaeto asked himself. What could be personified in this way?
Time can run... uh... arrow heads don't weep.... umm... wow. A bed... doesn't sleep. A vampire!
But Jaeto was being silly; everyone knew vampires were figments of myth and completely not real. Just like dragons.
Jaeto scratched his head and sat down at the bank of the pond... pondering.

Farfarello stared at Jaeto. A minute or two went by and the demon said, with a bit of frustration, "Are you serious?"

Farfarello found another sphere of mud-like barf substance hurled in his general direction. "Hush, chatty monkey," was all Pondy said.
One might wonder what Hashmal and Callisto were doing right now.

Farfarello growled at the tiny sprite... thing. It was frustrating the demon grately that Jaeto could not figure out something so simple. Why, why, why?
