Azriel shrugged, still staring at the spot where Eloysio disappeared. "I...don't understand either... I mean, I gave him permission to begin with... Chiaro, Oscuro, what do you think?" As she turned back to look at them, they were now unfrozen from their stupor and were huddled together, mumbling things at each other.

"That is just...some kind of awkward to think about... We were once a part of him and all..." O____o;;
o_____o "We...we are parts of Azriel now. But still, he...he is the man we could practically call fa---"

"...Guys?" O.o

"AACK!" They perked up and sharply turned around to face their host. "Er...yes? What is it, Azriel?" sweatdrop

She giggled a bit. "Jeez, what's gotten into you two? lol A-anyway, what do you think made Master Eloysio feel like that?"

"...Feel like what?"

"Like he wasn't welcome in here and that he shouldn't stay too long."

"...Oh. Hmm..." Oscuro thought for a second and nodded. "...A sense of common courtesy."

"Indeed. It was always in his belief that a person's mindspace, whether friend or stranger, is a sacred, private plane for each individual."

"Yeah, to him, mindspaces most of the time are like...that particular spot or room you just wanna keep all to yourself."

"That place where you can reflect upon your thoughts and secrets alone without worrying about an invasion of privacy."



With a yawn, Sheena's eyelids finally slid wide open, and she sat up in bed, stretching her arms out for a bit. Colette woke up as well, rubbing her eyes then taking a brush out to fix her hair.

"Ahh, Colette. Had enough shuteye yourself?" Sheena asked, smiling softly.

"Yup. I'm all refreshed and ready to go." ^_^

The two made their way downstairs to the living room to check up on everyone else. Kratos was still awake, Azriel was still asleep, and apparently, Eloysio had taken to napping upon her shoulder. Both Sheena and Colette made crooked smiles and laughed quietly behind their hands. Given Eloysio's size and apparent likeness to a fairy, the two found the sight both adorable and amusing. But the laughter stopped once Sheena took a glance at Rhone, who still looked pretty roughed-up. There were traces of blood on his clothing. Sheena began to look more serious, and Colette frowned with concern.

"H-hey...did something happen while we were asleep?"

"...From what Regal and I had found, Rhone got ambushed on the way back here..." Kratos went on to explain the circumstances behind the event, as well as inform the two about who they needed to be on the lookout for from now on.

Sheena clenched her fists and growled, "...Great. Just great. What have we come to, now? So on top of Oro and Schwarz's old masters, we've got this Devian...and then this Dameo...and now this Malachai Morghansson?" stressed

Eloysio coughed and sputtered, stirring awake from his slumber as he heard that name. His wings beat furiously, making him rise into the air rather quickly. "MALACHAI?! Where?! Where is that figlio di putta---"

Colette had gasped and covered her mouth at the sound of his outburst, startled. Azriel had jolted awake, springing up instantly in her seat.

"M-Master Eloysio! What's the matter?!"

As his mind pulled itself out of its groggy state, he looked around and remembered where he was. "...Oh. Ahh, pardon me." sweatdrop

((It's been two days? O_o *backreads*

No, since the point of entry of your character (leaving the colosseum), everything that's went on has been over the span of about a couple of hours, give or take. Does it really look like they've been talking that long, or do we just read the time differently? sweatdrop

You see, the party had been out overnight and had returned to the mansion in the very early morning. Counting the skirmish atop the Fooji Mountains, I'd say an hour had passed from that point. After Kratos, Regal, Rhone, and Azriel had returned, another two hours had passed, including this whole mindspace conversation. From the looks of things to me, Uriel started lurking around in the middle of that.

Now we timeskip just one more hour for the characters who had been sleeping to seem well-rested enough. It's just four hours of sleep (two for Rhone and Azriel) and I bet they could've used more to make sense, but I know we're dragging this on (we've stayed too long in Meltokio, really Dx), that's why I'm trying to pick up the pace and get things going quick as I can here. sweatdrop ))

((Oh I'm sorry. Everyone fell asleep. I assumed that was overnight. Meaning, as I read it, Uriel showed up, sat there the day, the characters all fell asleep, and then they woke up the next day. Meaning he was there the day before during the day, and then even after everyone woke up he was still there for a few hours since they were still talking. So as I read it, 2 days. Not 48 hours, but like 2 daytimes.

I get it now. Thank you for catching me up to speed.

Now have you already decided a fate for our Tethe'allan Chosen, or may I see him leaving, or what?))

((Yeah, he just needs to be "kicked" awake. xd ))

Colette stepped over to Rhone and looked into his eyes with concern. "Kratos told us...a lot of things. Are you fully all right, Rhone?"

Sheena sighed and glanced over at the couch where her other friend lay, rubbing her forehead. "And you, Azriel. You were lucky Kratos was able to cover your back. That sounded like a close call."

Eloysio was now just fluttering in circles behind the couch Azriel was settled in, mumbling something to himself as he pounded his fist in his palm. "The sooner we nail that son of a troia, the better..."

"...A-anyway. sweatdrop Now that almost everyone's up, what's our next course of action?"

"Hmm? Oh..." Sheena reached behind her back and procured a scroll of paper. "I found this quick report under my pillow. My scouts say Genis is no longer in Flanoir, but in Palmacosta at the Academy. Guess we could start heading toward there to pay him a visit.

As for Zelos..." Sheena put away the parchment and went back up the stairs to the door of Zelos' bedroom. Giving it a few knocks, she went, "Rise and shine, Zelos. Just about everyone else is up and ready to finally get going."

Schwarz hopped out of the urn still in his wolf form and hopped up the stairs following Sheena, "Wakey wakey, sleep head. Or urine (you-are-in) for a big surprise for what your going to be drinking first. I give ya a hint it ain't coffee."

Raine made a slight stretch as she made her way of her room. She blinked as she saw Sheena in front of Zelos's door, She also heard the rather 'disturbing' wake up Schwarz was suggesting. She waved to Sheena and headed down stairs. "Oro your broth-"

"Don't say it," Oro grumbled as he slowly made his way to the stairs.

Rhone shakes his head again before looking over to Eloysio.
Really?...hmm..."
He slides his coat off and places it on the floor next to him.
"I appreciate the kindness."
He then looks back over at Colette.
"You look confused..Oh!...you eh...haven't heard my story, have ya?" ^_^"" "Alright, I suppose I owe you an explanation for why I got injured. I don't think Eloysio knows about it either...I suppose I could explain it again."
Rhone sits in a nearby chair and explains everything about his past to Colette and Eloysio. Aurelia, her death, his quest to avenge her, his fight with Dameo, and how he came to be in his current state. Afterwards he looks back up at them with a sad smile.
"So yeah...I'm alright. But I'll be much better once I take that b*****d down..."

Zelos, despite the shock, merely rolls over in his sleepy daze.
"Heeeeey...do that agaaaain..... heart

Regal hears this and glances towards Zelos' bed room curiously.
"Hmmmm..."

Zelos suddenly sits up and glances at Sheena with a lazy smile.
"Awww...why'd you have to ruin my fun, hunny?" ^_^

Rhone notices Colette crying and that Azriel was holding back tears. This causes him to spring up, sweatdropping constantly. he then brings both Colette and Azriel into a hug, one in each arm.
"Hey now...no more tears! We got better things to be doin'. There's all sorts of threats to our world right now. Let's take care of all that first, alright? Besides, I've had hundreds of years to grieve. I'm just ready to beat that demon's face into the ground and be done with it!"
He grins wholeheartedly and chuckles lightly.
"So no more being all down, alright? We've got work to do!"

(For future reference past-tense of lie as in "to lie on the couch" is lay as in "yesterday, he lay on the couch". Sorry for the little grammar lecture. It was irking me...)
