Nina giggled and hugged Eric. "Well I'm glad that you two can worry together, just try not to out do mom." She giggled. Nina nodded and waited for her dad, looking to the clock when Elric said they could go to the temple. Nina thought for a moment and shook her head. "Nah, lets stay for dinner, it's been a while since we spent time with our parents." she smiled.

Elric nodded his head. He got the message, and food would be nice to have. Hopefully his mother would be calm enough to continue hosting. "No promises!" Yelled Eric from another room in the house, he returned with a wrapped box that seemed to have been wrapped for many years, inside was a weapon. Another one of the lost Irrigan originals. "I've been saving this ever since I learned of your particular interests. Well, your birthday is coming up soon and well, I think it could be more useful now than later." He said with a shrug. (((Your call on what it is, I'll have to check through the RP to see how many are supposed to be in the set again. EDIT - Okay so I checked and it's a set of ten. Currently we have: 01. Crystal Glaive 02. Forge Hammer 03. Katana 04. Rapier 05. Scythe 06. Spear 07. Twin Swords)))

Nina looked to the wrapped weapon and smiled. "Whoa, where did you get this?" She asked, smiling and opening it. Nina looked at for a minute as she tried to figure out what it was. She pulled out, what at first glace looked like a sword, but the blade had notches in it, each of different depths. Mina and Nina stared at it. "I honestly have no clue." Mina said, and she already knew a good amount of of their family weapons.

"That's quite a sword..." Said Derrick, he could make heads or tails of what it was supposed to do. Eric was left scratching his head. "The guy who sold it to me had told me it was an Irrigan Original. I couldn't get it verified, but I didn't want to pass up at the chance. I've been hiding from you and your mother for years. I'm not even sure if it's usable to be honest." "I'll be the judge of that." Benjamin stepped forward and examined the weapon. "Well, it's an original. Nothing that the forge cant' fix though. I'll get to work after dinner and have it all fixed up by the morning."

"Well, how do we even know it's broken?" Nina asked. "I mean, not all the weapons have been that straight forward. If you remember the sales person of the katana had said it was one of a set but we've seen that it's not." She looked to the sword and continued to look at the blade. "though honestly, I'm stumped."

"Well, you just give it a try after dinner then and see what happens." Irvin suggested to the group. He didn't see what the big deal was about. Soon, Lorene and Mina began to prepare dinner for everyone. For the most part, it was just about done. All that was needed was to set the table. With Elric and Nina helping, the others took to other activities. Irving however, couldn't catch a break with Skylar wanting his attention thanks to all his sketches.

Nina nodded. "right." she said, looking to her father she smiled and hugged him. "Thank you dad." she said, kissing his cheek. Nina spent a few minutes looking the sword over before she was needed to help set the table. Nina set out the plates, looking to the kitchen every once in a while and smiling as she could smell dinner.

Irvin sighed and gave up. Between Sklyar's drooling and tugging on his hair, he stopped with his sketching. "Fara, what do I do with him?" He asked her, being an only child he was lost with children.

"Here, let me see him." Fara said, taking Skylar from him. It took a moment to tug his hands off of Irvins hair. "there, see." she smiled, Skylar staring up at Fara and smiling. "Aww, he's such a sweetaaa" Her sentence interrupted by Skylar grabbing her lip.

Eric turned to Nina. "Uh, did I miss something there?" Asked Eric to his wife. He could see Irvin and Fara being very friend with each other and smiling as they handled Skylar. "I'm as lost as you are." Said Elric, Lorene couldn't help but chuckle. "Maybe you should explain the obvious to them, Nina."

Mina giggled some. "Nah, let them figure it out on their own, well at least your father might." Mina said. Nina giggled some and nodded, though after Mina remembered how it went when her and Eric were young she went up to him. "sweetie, they've got a crush on each other. If I had to guess they haven't said anything yet." Mina said.

"You're kidding, what would Fara see in him? I mean no offense to Ecalena's son, but wow." Elric smiled, first Benjamin, now Fara. After setting the table, he called for everyone. Dinner went smoothly, well mostly. Skylar's food related interventions from across the table had brought Fara and Irvin closer together. The child was constantly fling food around the table. "Arteria tells me that you met a boy on your trip, Nina. Who is he and what should I know about him?" Asked her father over the dinner table. Granted he was told more details, he had ignored most of it, not to mention it was a chance to tease his daughter.

Mina giggled some. "I don't know, maybe the same thing I saw in a slave boy." She teased, kissing Erics cheek before going to serve the food. Fara and Mina did their best to keep Skylar from flinging food, they wanted to keep the splash zone to a minimum. Nina jumped slightly, blushing instinctively as her father asked about a boy. "Well, he's a crystal child, kinda." She said, stuffing her mouth again before continuing. "He's incomplete, apparently he didn't get the right amount or something, his right arm is covered in growing crystals, and some cult used to harvest them from him." She felt a slight twinge shoot through her arm, it wasn't painful, but it was briefly distracting.

"He's another Crystal Child? I thought the secret lived on in Nina." Said Lorene in a confused tone. She wasn't in the up and up about what made Nina tick, but she had some understanding of it. "Crystal or not, he's still a boy. It sounds like he's lived a hard life." He replied to his daughter. As he ate, he noticed that she turned red as she spoke about this guy. "He can wait until after you're done saving the world, and even so, I'm not sure I like him. What do you think, Mina?"

Mina smiled. "well, we'll have to meet him first of course, but if our little girl has her eyes on some one we can't stop her." She said. Nina turned a bit redder. "I-I don't have eyes for him, h-he's a jerk." She said. Mina giggled some. "Of course you don't." she said as she ate, her tone being that of a mother who knows her daughter does have the eyes.
