Rhone shakes his head and stands up, placing his hat back on his head and looking Eloysio directly in the eyes. "Okay first, holy crap we're literally the same size. Second, I've been 'off my rocker' for nearly 300 years. Third...yeah, go for it. I'll tell everyone my ingeniously stupid-as-hell plan afterwards...and you might be useful in it as well...As for the telling Chiaro things she doesn't like....I fought her while she was berserk once, lived, and even managed to siphon some mana from her to help calm her down. I'd only be mostly dead if I pissed her off." He sits back down on the...floor?...and lays on his back with his hands behind his head. "Alright, carry on. My rant is finished."

Eloysio pinched at his brow and sighed, calming his nerves at how hostile Rhone was sounding. "Well if you've seen her berserk, then surely you understand what it spells for this mansion and everything else in the immediate vicinity when Azriel wakes up with Chiaro feeling even worse than she is right now, do you? ^_^;; Everyone's sleeping...vulnerable...who knows how long Kratos could hold her o---...Nevermind. Let's begin." He looked up at where he presumed Azriel's mind's eye was staring down, raising his hands above his head as if waiting to receive something. "Relax, Azriel. Reach out...please come on down...I need you too..."
Sure enough, the figure of Azriel appeared and descended, placing her hands in Eloysio's. Once she touched down with his help, it was clear there was a disoriented look on her face.
Eloysio made a nervous chuckle. "Will you look at that, I'm guessing she can't even listen properly.... Perhaps you're already aware of this, but perhaps you need a reminder as well. The way Azriel is feeling can affect them in turn. Likewise, the way they are feeling has an effect on Azriel too. Their frenzy was beginning to twist her own feelings around, leaving her dizzied." He arranged the three to stand closely together in a triangle. "I would be standing in her place, doing this instead, but the original soul is the anchor of the otherselves. Thus, it really is her gaze that is neutralizer. Now, Azriel, put your hand over your collar...yes, that's right...now look at them, right in their eyes. Suppress that dizzied feeling as best as you can...and make your mind a clear slate."
As Eloysio stepped away, Azriel blinked, then began to stare intently with a glazed look in her eyes. After a few seconds, faint ring-shaped waves of energy were emanating from them, drifting out to Chiaro and Oscuro's faces. In a few more seconds, the features that were a mark of their unstable feelings were starting to vanish. Chiaro's eyes gradually stopped glowing, and her halo lost its flaming aura. Oscuro's claws retracted, and her pupils became catlike slits again. In unison, the three of them put their fingers to their temples and shook their heads, as if shaking off a headache.
Eloysio smiled warmly, going over to pat his protege on the shoulder. "Yes, that's the ticket. Now, the next time something like this happens, you should go right to sleep and start this, alright?" ^_^
"Understood. Th-thank you, Master Eloysio," Azriel replied with a weak smile as she looked up at him. "Man, you two are scary when your emotions reach a feverish pitch like that," she commented as she looked at her otherselves. This had been the first time she ever felt a madness like that rising out of both of them.
The four of them then all laid their eyes on Rhone.
"Now...you were saying?"

Genis, after finishing the last class of the day in Palmacosta, went back inside to his room. He looked down onto his right hand, and saw Marble's exsphere. It brought back memories from when he had gone on adventures with all of his friends. But he had one friend in particular who he missed the most. "It's too bad Mithos didn't come with us..." he thought to himself. Mithos was very similar to him in many ways, and was also a Half-Elf just like him. "If only Mithos had changed his mind and forgave the world..." he also thought. Mithos was one of his friends and Genis missed him very much. Genis began to feel lonely and wished that he could set out to find his friends... But he knew he couldn't just leave the school because he was lonely. Genis took a sigh as he continued to finish the rest of the day, missing his friends...

I'll find what I've been searching for... As this conversation was going on, unknown to Uriel, he continued to walk around the town square. Of course, he knew this was hopeless. Obviously she wouldn't be right out in the open. No, she would most likely be hiding in the least likely place.
He pondered to himself, while he lifted the rope of the garden and stepped inside. As much as he detested those Meltokio families who had just come into their parent's money without working a day in their lives, he couldn't help thanking them for establishing the only calming place in the city.
Completely wiped out from his failed battle in the Coliseum, he collapsed on the ground. He arched his legs as if he was sitting in a chair, as he lay on the ground staring at the clouds. "How am I going to regain that lost Gald?" He was a laughingstock, losing in only the second fight of four. He would have won too. But instead of using the final attack spell he needed, he tried to heal himself with First Aid, which, of course with his luck, failed.
The wind was particularly strong today, and the white expanses of vapor passed overhead, leaving the garden in alternating periods of shadow and harsh light. Leaves on the bushes around him rustled creating some odd noise that only Uriel would hear as a melody. He began to sing to himself the stupid song he always hated as a child. A few lines his mother taught him that could somehow fit to any tune however you tried.
"Look at the white clouds, the way the bushes sway. A child holds his mother's hand, the beginning of the day. The world silent as the moon, the stars begin to fade. A child hold's his mother's hand, the beginning of the day."
Suddenly he felt a pain in his gut. Well not really a pain, more like a twitch. The feeling any elf would recognize signifying strong mana in one location. Quickly he bolted up and speed-walked toward the feeling. It led him into the wealthy district of Meltokio, just a few paces away.
However, the mana consumption was too great, and he couldn't narrow down the wide field of exertion to any location. So instead, he sat against the single tree standing in the center of all the houses, and waited. He watched people pass, this feeling growing stronger, but could do nothing to stop it. He would just have to wait until whatever was happening stopped. Then he would find the source.
...Whatever that is.

As Rhone sits up, he sighs and places his hat back on his head in a way that kept his eyes from being shown. "Like I said....it's not a plan any of you are gonna like...but the end results will be perfect.....Here's what I've got..."
(Keeping the rest of this post out, since I've already told Azura about the "plan" via PM to keep things secret. ^w^)

I'll find what I've been searching for... Things appeared to be calming, as the others were waking. Though, unfortunately, that would mean his perfect opportunity was ruined. Of course, at this point he was still trying to figure out what that mana consumption was, and didn't even know it was related to the girl with mismatched wings.
But he stood up, stretched his arms, and waited to see some change in the movement.
...Whatever that is.

After hearing the plan, Azriel was reduced to sitting cross-legged on the "floor", wide-eyed, stunned, and quiet. She was just staring off into space. Some parts of the plan were deeply confusing to her.
Oscuro grimaced, showing her discomfort. "You're right, that is spectacularly stupid. 'The results will be perfect'? Really?"
Chiaro crossed her arms and turned away, shaking her head. "I can't believe you'd... Urgh. At least you had the decency to clue me in."
Eloysio was staring Rhone right in the eye with an expression between displeased and worried. "...Is there really no other way?" He was envisioning how things would play out in his mind. He didn't like the thought of seeing Azriel...hurting...

Rhone sighs again and tips his hat up to look the others in the eyes. "I told you it wasn't a plan you guys were gonna like...But this is the only way we can beat him...He's gotten so powerful by using people...the only way to beat him is to show him how great it is to have real allies."

Azriel looked up and smiled at Rhone's words as she got up to her feet. "Y'know, that's right. No matter how outrageous the plan...if we just keep believing in each other, this'll surely work." Then, she turned to look at her otherselves. "Against the forces of evil...things have got to pull through in our favor, no matter what. Just keep believing in that." ^_^
Eloysio held his chin, smiling softly as he looked at Azriel. She was being so endearing to him right how.
Chiaro ran her fingers through her hair, resting her hand at the back of her head. With a faint smile of her own, she admitted, "Hmm. You do raise a good point."
"..." >:T Oscuro was lightly biting her lip, her arms tightly crossed. But with a sigh, she relaxed her expression and went, "Yeh...yeah, yeah....I guess. I'll go through with this too. The premise sounds delightfully sneaky enough and if all goes according to plan, we'll epically own 'im." >:] She pounded her fist into her palm.
Azriel grinned. "Heheh, that's the spirit!" mrgreen
Eloysio cleared his throat to grab attention. "Ahem. Now that that's all settled, I should get to doing what I intended to with Chiaro." As he approached her, his monocle was shimmering...glowing. He took it off and laid it flat on his palm as he stopped a couple of feet before her, so that they were directly facing each other. Oscuro and Azriel took this as a cue to give him some room, as the both of them went to go stand next to Rhone.
Eloysio closed his eyes, concentrating. Letters written in gold-colored energy emerged from the monocle, floating and arranging themselves into lines between him and Chiaro. Then, line by line they whisked off, forming into concentric rings that spun around her arms, legs, torso, wings, and head. All the while, Chiaro appeared to be levitating a few inches off the "floor". They started spinning faster...and faster...and in a couple of minutes or so, there was a bright flash.
After it wore down, whatever skin that was visible on Chiaro could be seen with glowing markings, the lettering that Eloysio made emerge from his monocle. After about fifteen seconds, the glow faded away and the markings blended into the color of her skin.
Azriel had been watching in awe. "Wow...what's that supposed to do, Master Eloysio?" O.O
"Good question. It's an activator. It'll connect her with what I will soon add to your collar. Related to that, however...I did look up some information on the art of Summoning back in my time. If I recall correctly...when a pact is formed, the pact-maker is bestowed with a ring that is the symbol of that pact. Ah...where am I going with this? ...Oh, right. Azriel, your friend Sheena is a summoner, is she not?"
Azriel nodded. "Yeah, she is. I'm guessing...you want to see those rings?"
"Yes. I would like to examine those gemstones, specifically." ^_^
"I'm sure you'll be more than welcome." ^_^ After a silent pause, she thought out loud, "Makes me wonder...gee, anyone think the others are just about waking up by now?"((Eloysio's handwriting looks like this. I made it up myself. x3))

Rhone...facepalms at Azriel's speech. "I'm....gonna pretend that I didn't just hear something that sounds like it came out of a children's story book and move on. As Oscuro said, this will indeed epically own 'im. At least it should...With Dameo, you never know for certain...so we're gonna have to be on our toes. As for people waking up....I've got no idea. My body's out of commission...again....Come to think of it, I seem to spend most of my time being kicked around by something...." He strokes his chin for a few moments before shrugging. "Ah, well. At least I'm able to keep you guys from enduring the same fate." ^_^
In Zelos' bed chamber, Zelos isn't even budging...still completely asleep. Regal looks over towards Azriel and the others...noticing no one moving...and sighs. "It's been quite a strange night....and day so far..."

"Really?" Schwarz's puppy head pops out the top of the urn, "Kinda, ranks a 6.5 on the weird day meter for us." He then ducked back into his hiding place.
Oro poked his head out from behind the pillow, and looked around. One thing he hated about being in his current state was that he wasn't able to defend himself at all. He jumped down and ran under Kratos' chair, figuring he was the strongest of all the people left awake.

((Yep, sure did. 3nodding )) Azriel sweatdropped. "...I can't help but agree... I thought I had my fair share of being kicked around on the occasional times I get captured..." sweatdrop ~ "Hm," responded Kratos to Regal, half his attention on whatever was happening in the room. The other half of his mind was deep in thought. He held his chin as he leaned back in his seat. Now that I think of it...fighting that man... I could sense something familiar on him. But I can't quite place what it is... He apparently was human too...and yet, he could wield light magic? And then it dawned on him. His eye did a slight twitch as he made a mental shudder. ...I certainly hope that isn't it...I'll need to encounter him again to be sure...In her room, Sheena turned over where she lay and sneezed. It looked as if she was beginning to come to as she opened her eyes and blinked for a few seconds...but drowsiness reclaimed her state of mind and she drifted back into sleep. In the same room, Colette was still slumbering. The slight noise Sheena made didn't even wake her up. ~ There was a pause of silence in the mindspace as Eloysio fixed his monocle back over his eye, having nothing of significance to say. Then he looked to his protege with a bit of a sad smile and bowed formally. "...Well. My work here is done. I should not overstay my welcome here in the sanctity of your mind...Azriel."
She gazed back at him with blinking, curious eyes, having caught on to that sadness and wondering what could have been the matter. He couldn't help himself at this point---he stepped closer and leaned over to embrace her, resting his head on her shoulder. His hold was gentle yet so firm, as if he was trying to savor the moment. Azriel hugged back, but was all the more confused. Chiaro (who had moved beside her counterpart) and Oscuro widened their eyes in surprise and were gaping. Drawing in a breath, the latter slowly raised an index finger and was about to speak, but the former promptly clapped her hand over her mouth.
"M-Master Eloysio? Is something wrong?" sweatdrop
"Uhm...no, I..." He finally pulled away, his face flush with embarrassment. "F-forgive me. That was, eh...molto casuale, no?" He sighed and looked down at the floor, giving a kick at it lightly. "J-just...something I've been wanting to do on the physical plane, but can't given that I'm so...little and all. Eheh...I'm sorry, I just went and made everything so awkward right now, didn't I? Well, I'd better get going." sweatdrop
As Eloysio turned to finally walk away toward the darkness, Azriel stared, her face a little pink. After a few seconds, she shook her head out of her stupor and rushed after him, tugging at one of his coattails. "M-Master Eloysio!"
He jolted a bit in surprise and turned to look at her. "Yes? Wh-what is it, my dear?"
"Master Eloysio...you're welcome here too. Anytime. It's been so long since you were last with Chiaro and Oscuro, and I'm sure they'd enjoy spending more time with you." She extended her hand in offer.
He placed his in hers and shook on the deal, smiling with a little more genuine happiness. "I'll...surely keep that in mind. Thank you...Azriel..." As he let go, he vanished into the air, his consciousness slipping back into his own body.
Chiaro and Oscuro...were comically still frozen in the position they had been holding all this time.~ Eloysio sighed upon his return to the waking world, removing his hand from the jewel on Azriel's collar. "Back to the world where everything is uncomfortably gargantuan..." he shook his head and mumbled softly to himself as he fluttered back to the coffee table, where he began to fix up his scattered-about notes.

I'll find what I've been searching for... That was it. The mana had fluctuated for a moment, but now it was certainly dying down. The circumference of the field had shrunk significantly and Uriel could now precisely determine source of the disruption. It was the house directly parallel from the tree. No, house doesn't describe this gargantuan building. It was a mansion.
Uriel looked up but the blinding sun prevented him from seeing the top of the construction. For all he knew, it extended to the very star itself! He was as much on edge as he could be, considering the night he'd had. Meltokio's lush grass patch in the walkway of the wealthy district was certainly not the roughest place he'd slept in his travels. No, his lack of sleep was caused by that powerful mana that forced his eyes to open and his fingers to twitch whenever he tried to relax. Uriel was just grateful that he hadn't been thrown out during the night, mistaken for a vagabond. This he thought as he mumbled, "Well, I am, in a way."
Though, he could not think about that now. For very soon his questions would be answered. He prepared his friendliest face, certain an altercation with the possessor of such power would be fatal. Maybe I'll try a nicer approach.
...Whatever that is.

Rhone shakes his head and crosses his arms. "I can't actually imagine what the man's going through, but I can see why it would hurt to not even be able to hug someone...at least if you've got someone TO hug. But I wonder why he thought he wasn't welcome here...hell, if you guys let ME in, why would he think he's not welcome as well? Hmmmm.... I suppose I'll have to be a bit nicer to the guy. Gonna have to think of a new nickname..."
