"I heard it, but I have simply chosen to ignore it." Despite his words, Farfarello heaved himself up. "Where to?"

Raedou looked up and sniffed. He smelled magic... somewhere. He stood up and began searching around, following his nose, until the scent lead him into the woods. Of course, the elderly Ganzi was unaware of the trap ahead... and the protruding tree branch that would inevitably snag his foot and cause him to tumble further into the forest, where he would soon meet up with Jaeto and Farfarello... and a face-full of tree bark.
As he limped into the forest, sniffing around for the magic scent, a protruding tree branch inevitably snagged his foot and caused him to tumble further into the forest. This greatly startled the Ganzi. If he were a few years closer to death, this fall would have given him a heart attack. As he rolled through the woods at a dangerously high speed, one who watched closely would see sparks flying from the back of the speedy "Raedou Wheel", the tumbling mass of fur and metal bursting through the growth in front of him and, with a final tumble, bolting into a tree, where the metal beak of his helmet impaled the tender wooden surface.
Raedou tugged and heaved, trying with all of his might to get his face out of the tree trunk. Coincidentally and thanks to a painful twist of irony, the Ganzi's beak was feeling the wooden embrace of nature... right in front of Farfarello.

Farfarello jumped back a bit, though when he recognized the quizzical armor, he stared. He stared, and stared, and stared. And then he laughed. The sound of it was cruel, and a bit high pitched. He didn't intend it to be either.

"If you are not going to help me out of this tree, bean sprout..." snarled the Ganzi, "Make yourself useful and go find Jaeto."
Even his enormous Ganzian strength could not get him out of the tree.

Farfarello would have gladly answered, however he was far to preoccupied with gripping his aching stomach. Every time his laughter subsided and he glanced up again at the mighty Ganzi, it started up again with a vengeance.

Raedou rolled his eyes and let out a deep sigh.
"Yes, yes... very funny." he grumbled, "The Ganzi is stuck in a tree. Tee hee."
He looked around, unable to move his head.
"Where in the name of Lady Elysia is Jaeto...?" he asked himself quietly, then thinking about what he would do to the demon after he got out of this little predicament.
The thought was... pleasant.

Farfarello continued to howl with laughter, knowing that the day of reckoning would come whether he continued to do so or not. He decided to savor this rare moment. "He's right," the demon had tears streaming from his eyes, "here!"

Jaeto had been silently laughing, directly out of Raedou's line of sight. When he--achingly--pulled himself together and regained his composure, Jaeto pretended as if he had just run up. "Raedou! What in the--are you hurt?" he asked, right before a ball of airborne mud collided with the longarm's face.

"Oh yeah, act like you just got here so that I'm the only one who gets in trouble!" Farfarello scoffed, still sniggering.

"Huh?" Jaeto said, shaking mud from his face. He then ignored Farfarello and tried to pull Raedou's face from said tree. He failed, but tried again. He failed, but tried again. He failed, but tried again. He failed, but tried again. He failed, but tried again. He failed, but tried again. He failed, but tried again. He failed, but tried again. He failed, but tried again. He failed, but tried again. He failed, but tried again. He failed, but tried again. He failed, but tried again. He failed, but tried again. He failed, but tried again.
He failed, but suddenly attempted to swing the pike he had forgotten that he did not possess currently. The result was Jaeto hurting his hand against a superior tree.
"OW! MOTHER-"
Then a tidal wave of mud took out all three of the individuals, soaking their armor, clothes, hair, and natural orifices in a saturation of water, bacteria, and mud.
When they surfaced from the mud (Raedou being released from the evil tree's grasp, now), they were exactly where they had been standing. Only... brown.
The nearby glowing pond was the only source of water with which to clean off.

Farfarello stood, miffed that Raedou had escaped and he was not in big trouble and covered in mud and altogether unhappy. He scrubbed his eyes with his hands that were covered in mud, producing no real effect.

Jaeto glanced around, gawking at the others' apparent silence. Finally, after standing around in a puddle of mud for a few minutes, and after being pelted by three more globs of mud, the longarm finally shouted, "Where is this crap coming from?!"
In response, he received another pelting of mud.
