Layna let out a piteous growl as she watched him. What could she do to get his mind off of such things? She didn't know, and it was beginning to dredge up doubtable reactions.

"I don't want to leave. I don't want to leave you alone." Ceon whimpered slightly as his wolf ears slowly appeared and his tail came too.

Layna growled again, and gently pushed him away. She put her hands upon her hips as she stared at him. "Ceon..." She said quietly, her grey eyes flat and dull. "I wish you would quit. It's beginning to get to me. I'm not feeling good at the moment..." She said, feeling dizzy all of a sudden. She blinked, and gripped the balcony rail tightly.

Ceon, realizing that he was starting to hurt Layna, got up and held her away from the balcony and into the rooms. "I'm sorry Layna, I didn't mean to hurt you."

"You didn't hurt me," She insisted quietly. "I've been dizzy since I woke up." She smiled sheepishly at him. "Another side effect, I guess." She said, slowly sitting down upon the leather couch. She pulled her knees up against her chest, at least as far as they would go, and rubbed at her feet, which felt cold from walking barefoot on the wooden floors.

Ceon sat next to her and rubbed her feet in an attempt to warm them up. "Don't worry, soon our son will be in our arms, where we can adore him."

Layna couldn't help but giggle as he rubbed her feet. Her toes twitched, being obviously ticklish. "S-stop." She said through a pause in her laughing.

Ceon chuckled along as he stood up and kissed her. "So when should we get some things for the baby's room? I'm pretty sure he'll need at least a crib and a blanket."

Layna looked up at him, her eyes glistening, and she had to wipe the tears of laughter from her cheeks. "We still have a full three months." She said, "And I've got a list all set up on what he'll need. Clothes, changing table..." She smiled.

"Yes, but we should probably get the stuff before it's hard for you to walk. I get excited for the arrival of our son with each passing day." Ceon hugged her against him as he smiled.

Layna humphed quietly, and hugged him back, his warm body making her head whirl with unconditional emotions. "Yes. When?" She mused, her voice delicate.

Ceon thought for a second then said softly, "Anywhere from tomorrow to a week. Our son slowly grows with each passing moment." Ceon drew his head back from her shoulder and gazed into her eyes. "I can tell he'll have your eyes."

Layna growled lightly, a smile on her lips. "You'll jinx it." she pouted. Her grey eyes sparkled with the gentleness she felt at the moment. It was a wondrous thing. To be happy for the most part, and want to tear something apart the next.

Ceon smiled, "I don't believe much in jinxes." Ceon stood up from the couch and went to the fridge, seeing if there was any more deer left.

Layna stayed on the couch, laying back against the pillows. Her eyes closed, but she was far from being sleepy. Her head hurt as badly as her back did. She placed her hands upon her bulging stomach, feeling the rhythmic thudump of a small heart. And the tapping of small hands and feet against her. She sighed. So much had happened in the last few months that it still boggled her mind.
