Spiess Skits [...♥]I know kids who have "hooked up" and ended up wanting to kill themselves. Some of them have had kids, one got a STD. There is only one person who enjoyed it and having the baby. for the most part, the teens involved aren't mentally mature enough for that kind of responsibility. Even if you use contraception it doesn't always work. My mom used birth control pills and a condom when she concieved my little sister. It is wrong because most can't bear the burden of sex. Not only is it a burden on themselves, but on the people that have to care for the child, such as the parents and siblings.
Also the teen taking that responsibility has to deal with the nasty things that their peers pin on them. If a girl has sex and dissapears for about a year and comes back into school, kids will question, the guy will brag, and rumors will fly. This causes the poor girl to feel alone, rejected, and emotionally damaged.
Basically it is a bad thing because MOST teens can't handle that kind of responsibilty. I don't understand why you insist on calling it "wrong." Sometimes sex doesn't work out, but that's true with adults too. Sometimes it does, that's just the nature of it. If a teen can't handle the possibility of getting pregnant or getting an STD, then they shouldn't have sex. It happens. Also, parents never -have- to take care of a child. If they're under 18 they can put them up for adoption and if they're over 18 they can kick them out. So basically, yeah, sex is dangerous, but I wouldn't call it bad. At your second paragraph - peers being mean and making fun of others is their own bad behavior, I don't see why any girl should have her choices dictated to her by gossipers.

[...♥]You realize you just said why its wrong. Think about it..we're not talking about adults, but teens who can't handle the responsibility. That's why its wrong it destroys lives. As for the second paragraph, people are vicious. Many people listen to what those kids who are talked about may put a face on that they don't care but in reality they are affected and it hurts people.

As for the second paragraph, people are vicious. Many people listen to what those kids who are talked about may put a face on that they don't care but in reality they are affected and it hurts people. That's exactly right.. People kill themselves because they made a mistake like that.. Not because they feel it's necessarily something they can't go on living with, it's the fact that other people wont let them live it down. People are ruthless.
All in all, teen sex is a bad idea. Someone in this forum (I'm sorry, I can't give credit, I don't remember exactly who it was..) made an excellent point.. Just because your body thinks it's ready, like when a woman has her period, that doesn't mean the REST of the body is ready.. The pelvic area could not be completely grown and developed, and having a child could essentially kill the baby, the teen mother, or both.
Not only is it a bad idea, it is against the law. Period. Why? Because of all of the above stated reasons against it. If that's not proof enough for you to believe it's wrong, then you are ignorant. Plain and simple.

ooh this is a tough one...
Alrighty, i will post my own little post here for my views on pre-martial sex.
I myself started having sex when i was 14 and i can honestly say that yes I was too young and my girlfriend and i should have taken it slower. But to us, we figured "well nothing is going to happen, we can't get pregnant if we don't have penises" Well it can affect you mentally and put a strain on a relationship as well. Anyways, I really think kids and teens should wait until they are a little older. I myself believe in pre-martial sex 100% because how do you know what you like and who you like if you are never intimate with them? I mean if you are in a relationship with someone for let's say, 2 years, haven't done anything and finally think it's the right time then i think you might be mature enough to do so.
Sex is about maturity.. well to me anyways and yes i made a mistake but it's what helps me learn and I want other teens to know that sex isn't everything in life, it can wait. Being able to at least control yourself for some time helps deepen and mature one's relationship... well unless you have a partner who is all sex-focused, but that is a different story.
I can safely say I wish i had waited for two years or until I was 16 before i jumped into anything just because I think I would've been more mature mentally to handle it. As for teen pregnancy, how young is too young? I mean i know here 18 is the legal adult age, so is it safe to say that you can have a kid when you turn 18? Or is it still too young? I personally think getting pregnant at 16 or even 17 is too young just because you are usually still in high school, without your high school diploma you can't get into college. I mean you could have a kid after high school, raise your kid for a bit before you decide to go off to college to get a post-secondary degree.
.... I think i will finish my rant for now, seeing as it looks like it's going on for hours, sorry. xd sweatdrop

And one other thing as to teen pregnancy.
They always laughed when in sex-ed for gym class when the teachers said, have safe sex use a latex... yet they are the ones crying at the end of the day when they find out they're pregnant and don't understand how it could've happened.
Teachers are not there just for show, they do try to teach us some stuff, even if some of it is annoying and corny.
If you are going to have sex, at least be responsible enough when doing it. I mean you don't even have to buy protection, here where i am you can go to this health center that provides protection free of charge, so there is no excuse.

Hi ^^ I suppose I don't see it as wrong because the "victim" is the person who did it. You are right, in most cases teen sex can mess up a person's life, but I think everyone has the right to ******** themselves over if they want to. 3nodding As for gossipers- they do exist but I don't think peer pressure should effect what you think of or do with yourself.

[...♥]You're right, it shouldn't affect people but I really does. Because of the way humans are we need to be accepted even if that urge is just a slight feeling. So when someone lets it out that you've had sex, you get ridiculed and start to feel more and more unaccepted. As for it being the victim's fault, in most cases it is. On the other hand that doesn't make it right. The act is still wrong.

Spiess Skits [...♥]Exactly. That's another reason, the side effects that come with it aren't worth a couple hours of sexual pleasure. @LedZeppelin - Eh, most boys aren't worth time. Plus from what I've seen You're too pretty for most guys anyway! < 3
Thank you.. But yes, I haven't met a guy yet who's been worth my time.

For the most part anyway, not all are like that. @skyo - I think she ment that she hasn't met a guy who has been right for her. She wasn't putting down the whole gender.
