Daegonna chuckled softly. For all that she knew he'd probably bleed her dry given the opportunity, Daegonna enjoyed spending time with Seraphim. She made her way towards one of her favourite spots, but stopped abruptly when the jewelry caught her eye. She was as easily drawn to shiny things as Seraphim was, and always loved admiring jewelry. Her eyes roved over the assortment of jewelry laid out, lingering on a microdermal implant in the shape of a sort of sunburst, with a crescent moon in it, then a pair of earrings in the shape of tiny dragons, whose long sinuous bodies could be threaded through ears pierced numerous times. "See anything you like?" She asked, glancing up at Sera. She looked like she was imagining adorning him with a number of new piercings.

Everything. And I take it you see something you like too?
*his tone suggested he meant she was eyeing him up, but then... he always sounded that way. The he did something a little OUT of character for him... he dropped to one knee, so their heights mae it easier for her to reach his ears, and the myriad holes in them*
Choose some for me? A woman's eye always knows best...
*again, that mischief, the stall clerk looking slightly preturbed as he...she...it... watched the two. Serpentine in nature, the creature was possibly some form of Lamia or lizard, androgynous and scaly. Still, it managed suprise rather well on its inhuman face*

Daegonna laughed softly at his response. When he sank to one knee, Daegonna's brows rose. Her flicker of surprise was gone in a moment though, replaced by a smile with a little too much fang in it. She turned her attention back to the selection of jewelry, her golden eyes flitting from one piece to the next. After careful consideration, she settled on a pair of winged serpents, rather like the dragons she'd been eying moments before. After paying the clerk, Daegonna put them on Seraphim. She threaded the tiny bodies through the holes in his ears. The serpent's heads were at his earlobes, and the tails wove in and out of the holes as they made their way up his ears. The delicate feathered wings curved along the outer edges of his ears, as if the serpents were swooping down towards his neckline. The eyes were tiny glittering gold gems with tiny hints of fire and amber in their depths. Their little mouths were wide open and very toothy. Daegonna's fingertips lingered on Seraphim's jawline as she admired the pieces, and smiled down at him. She gestured to a mirror, if he wanted to see how they looked.

They look best reflected in your eyes...
*Chuckling, he stood and too the mirror offered him anyway, turning his elegant head this way and that, letting the light catch the twin earrings. Combined with all else he was wearing, ti was as if he'd stepped out of some fantasy drama to swoon any female who neared him from her feet. In short... he approved. Grinning, he nodded to Dae*
And something for the lady prehaps?
*He didnt look at the stall, his fingers flicked out, snagging the item he'd set his eyes on with perfect dexterity. A looping silver chain, delicate and light, ended in a beautifully crafted bat with delicate, thin, filigree'd wings. In its claws, it held a silver casp, linked to a blood drop shaped vial. The vial was currently empty, but Sera used one hand to undo it, biting into his own thumb as he did, three drops of his blood filling the small vial before he resecured it, and offered it to Daegonna*
So I can make good on that promise whenever you so choose....

Daegonna blushed a bit at his comment, a faint smile playing about her lips. At his question, she raised a brow. She'd let him pick. And he did. She admired the delicate chain and lovely pendant, watching with interest as he bit into his thumb, and then offered her his blood. Her smile grew as she took the offered gift. "Such a generous gift." She said, fastening the necklace around her neck. "I'll be sure to put it to good use." She looked thoughtfully down at the pendant for a moment, then looked back up to Sera, mischief in her eyes again. It was indeed a powerful gift he had given her, and already she was weighing how best to handle it. For now, of course, she would save it. You never know when somebody's blood will come in handy, after all, particularly such potent blood. The very scent of it sent a slight shiver down her back, and she licked her lips, pushing that primal urge for blood as far towards the back of her mind as she could.

You know you want me... you should just give in doll.
*He grinned as he stood at his full height, paying off the serpent demon for the pendant, nt failing to note just how many noses now twitched at the scent of his blood, how many more faces turne dtheir way. Potent vitae indeed... and a possible double edged sword he'd given Daegonna. Still, he did not regret her having it*
You ever change your mind... I'll know if you taste it and come running, ok my sweet?
*he linked arms with her again, heading deeper into the market*

Daegonna smiled dryly. "I try not to give in when it might cost me my lifeblood." She said lightly. Something about his term of endearment stirred old memories, and Daegonna blushed. The girl said nothing, though. She took his arm again, and allowed him to lead her deeper into the market. She rather doubted that clothes were the only thing on Seraphim's shopping list, and she was curious to see what else he wanted her there for.

*Dae wasnt going to get an insight just yet - the only thing Sera stopped to acquire on the way to the clothing stalls was a small pouch of cinnamon powder in the food stalls, before he then went straight for clothes*
You speak as if Id ravage you and bleed you dry... would I, sweet innocent boy that I am, do that to such a sweet thing as you, dark butterfly? Would I be so cruel?
*his fangs really didnt belong in that smile. They just didnt*

Daegonna laughed, though there was the tiniest bitter note in the music. "More innocent men have tried, Seraphim." She paused, thoughtfully "But no, I don't think you'd bleed me dry. Not immediately anyway." Daegonna smiled, then. 'Dark butterfly'....I like that. she mused. She was idly listing the spells which required cinnamon as an ingredient in her mind, and trying in particular to remember any meant to incapacitate or alter consciousness, or anything of the sort. Paranoid? Me? No doubt. But that doesn't mean nobody's out to get me. Daegonna was always suspicious, but Seraphim often managed to charm her out of listening to her better senses and staying well away from him. Delicious men who drank blood and devoured souls tended to spell bad news for the young girls who liked them.

Im hurt. Genuinely I am.
*Mock pain flickered over his features, the beautiful young male dancing away from her in a swirl of heavy skirts and ringing charms, darting into the mix of stalls, the noise of swooning women sign the deviant little Cainite was up to something... and indeed he was.
He'd tugged off his shirt, rasiing it over his head in a flow of fluid pale muscle, revealing his tattoo'd body to the populace at large as he ran his fingers over soft silk shirts hanging from the stalls*
What colour do you think Butterfly? Im told red can clash with my hair... isnt that just AWFUL.

Excuse me...miss Da'Shae?
A sultry sort of voice spoke softly behind the pair. It was a woman, dressed simply in jeans and a t-shirt, with a loose fit jacket worn over. It was just enough to be modest, but easily enough to leave most men's imaginations to their happy place.
It was unmistakable, though...she was trying to get Dae's attention away from Sera for just a minute.

Daegonna had been admiring Seraphim's bare chest, and idly imagining tracing her tongue along his tattoos when somebody interrupted her thoughts. The name they addressed her with was really what got her attention. She turned slowly, and tilted her horned head to one side, as she looked the woman up and down. There was a look in Daegonna's eyes as if she were wondering what the woman would look like turned inside out, or just what pitch she would squeal at if Daegonna were to start removing bones from her body. Anyone who was sensitive enough might be aware of a large amount of power gathering beneath the ward that masked most of Daegonna's energy. She stepped out of the crowded stall, leaving Seraphim at the mercy of the goggling women....Or was it the other way around? "Very few can still identify me by that name," Daegonna began, now addressing the attractive stranger, "Particularly since the homes of the Da'Shae were burned to the ground, their children and lovers devoured, and the sorceresses themselves were never found," a pause, "May I help you?" A perfectly typical greeting. Right.

The woman hardly seemed taken aback at the hostile manner in which Dae had greeted her. She simply bowed backwards, giving Dae the room in which to move.
Begging your pardon, miss, however, that is just the name I was given. I was asked to bring you to my employer, a sibling of yours. He would do so himself, but is...preoccupied...at the moment.

Daegonna was even more suspicious now. The only one of her adoptive siblings who would refer to her as 'Da'Shae' would probably be Corbin, but he rarely could be bothered with talking to her, much less inviting her to visit. Iden thought of her as an adoptive DeSeer. Dagoth was and always would be her big brother. Yoh and the others didn't really seem to notice or mind her. "Uh huh." Daegonna said, unconvinced. "Well, my brothers know better than to interrupting me while I'm shopping." She said flatly. "So you just tell him I'll swing by later." By which she clearly meant 'You've got about three seconds to shove off before I rip off your arm and ram it up any number of your orifices.

Yes....ma'am....
She did not seem nearly as worried as she should. The woman nodded, and took a step back.
:: Oh goddammit, Dae, do you have to be so hard to talk to? I just sent the damn bint to get you away from your little boy candy.... You know how I get on with him... ::
It was Iden's voice, spoken in her mind. He seemed amused, more than anything, though. It wasn't like she had pissed him off or anything.
By now, the woman was gone.
