Yo. Name's Rigu. How goes it?
I'm pro-choice, anti-death penalty... yup, I'm a pretty liberal person. And you don't know how irritating it is to live in a town populated by Conservative Baptists. ((No offense to you conservatives or Baptists... ^_^;; Heh heh heh?))
Well, my family is one of the few liberal ones in the town. But oh, well. That's what Gaia's for, right?

Err.. lets see.
I'm new. I live in a liberal family, but our town is full of nutjobs. My mom has always been pro-choice and so am I.
Oh yes, our towns lastest nutjobs are protesters near the hospital and first church comunity. They hold up pictures of aborition and piss of everyone, even pro-life people, because little kids pass that area and thouse pictures disturb everyone. Oh, and according to them, aborition is the single thing blocking the world from peace.
And their leaders a homophobic
*headdesk*
But, at list I'm among peopl like me now.

Ello everyone! I'm Aimee, and I just joined the guild today... I joined because I'd like the opportunity to converse with other Gaians, about the issues covered in this guild. Although I am only 16, I like to consider myself well educated in the area of politics and etc. I'm all ways up for a good discussion about just about anything, as long as it's intelligent. Hello I'm Liz and I'm very pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, anti-death penalty (basically). I'm from just north of San Francisco (go figure) from Sonoma County, one of the most liberal areas in the U.S. biggrin
I'm a democratic socialist and I joined this guild to converse with other pro-choicers and get some new points to debate against pro-lifers. I'm not against pro-lifers as long as they can debate well without "OMFG ur killing a BABY!!!!1!!!!1" and present points that make me think. Otherwise I tend to get sort of pissed at them, but I manage to hold it in 3nodding
I listen to alternative rock and classic rock (the Doors, Cake *has anyone here heard of it???*, The Who, stuff like that) and absolutely hate country (no offense to those of you who do like it sweatdrop )

Greetings to all! My username is Avani, but you can call me Kat! I decided to join because I enjoy learning new information and discovering different perspectives. By doing so, I am able to form opinions and have meaningful debates. I am Pro-Choice because I believe the woman has more rights than the fetus, and ultimately, it is her choice and she should not be swayed by outside influences. I believe the fetus is a living thing, since it grows. However, because it depends on its host, the mother, its body is part of her body, and she has every right to expel it from her.
