S’kor/Bronze Scarath (Option C- staying at party)
He heard call for those to join him at the weyr. With their injuries, he knew he wouldn’t be much help. Scarath we’ll stay on guard here, and be available if anyone needs it. Particularly those of our wing. S’kor moved to stand near the goldriders. Listening mostly and providing support.
The bronze rumbled and maintained his alter stance, eyes whirling red.
Optheli (Option C- staying at party)
A large group rushed off toward the weyr after call of fire went out. Optheli was torn. There was wounded here for sure, and probably those panicking. She wasn’t sure she’d be much help going back to the Weyr. Dynith listen to me. I need to you go with those heading to the Weyr and assist them however you can. I know you can do this. I’ll stay here and help where I can.

Green Dynith (Option B- information gathering)
She was not pleased. She didn’t want to leave Hers, but Her’s words rang true. Yes Mine. Dynith circled once more of the sad remains of the party then flew after those. Wait for me. I am coming to help. It wasn’t loud, but maybe someone would hear. She swooped to catch up to the main party. As she landed, the green was startled by someone coming out of a building hallaring. She blinked then relayed the message.
A man says it went North.

Wykla/Blue Kameth (Option B – Flit wrangler/information gathering)
They wanted to help. Wykla gave a whistle and had her flits fan out. “Where do you need them?” She asked D’lin who seemed to be in charge. The girl sensed her dragon following along, and welcomed him. He could help control the flits.
Kameth snorted. His wings would not help in the tiny corridors. Still he would assist however he could.
The spread out formation worked. Almost immediately the group picked up on a person. Unfortunately, when she went to check the woman was sitting dazed. No help there. Wykla sent her fair on.

F’law/Blue Zurith (Option B- fire brigade)
The darkness overhead relieved his fears somewhat. If he ignored the stars, then it was almost as if he was underground again. F’law glanced around at the party. When the call came up for those to help with the fire he chose that immediately. He might be no good, but handling water buckets he could do. This his flits Onyso and Roordine showed up. He could send them to help look if needed. When he got there, it was easy to insert himself into a line with a bucket and start putting out fires.
Well done Mine. We will help. The blue approved his rider’s choice. Plexith, Mine and I will help with the fire.

Relys/Blue Relysk (Option A- hunting felines)
He hadn’t been the only handler here after all. That was somewhat of a relief as other whers started showing up. He spotted a bronze, gold, and he thought a green. Relys reported up to the goldriders. He gave them a quick salute. “Relys of Relysk. We’d like to go after the felines.” After watching two whers heading to the weyr and only two dragons going after felines he knew where they needed to go. Relysk wasn’t going to like this. Hopefully they’d tell the dragons and they could contact his wher.
Relys gave another nod to the women and turned his wher into the night. “Let’s go boy. Now is your chance to strike back at them. All we have to do is run them off the supplies at least.” He spoke encouragingly; leading the wher to the start of the trail and heading out into the jungle.
Indeed not! The dark blue wher was whistling worriedly as his handler spoke to the other humans. He -did not- like felines! But it was to protect and defend. His job in the caravan. Relysk obediently picked up the trail and began to lead his handler.
The dark blue whuffed and trilled. He had the trail. Not too hard, but not super easy. He eeled his way through the underbrush. Heading further and further into the jungle. He called to his handler and stopped. Relysk lifted his head with an odd cry. Felines. Human blood. And..... dragon blood! He cried again trying to attract the attention of the two dragons he knew were also hunting.

"Yeah, I could do that," Set'al said after a moment of thought and looking from one goldrider to the other. This was a deadglow stupid thing to do - the idea was sound, sure, but running around in the dark when there were felines and who-knew-what-else about went any sense of self-preservation he had.
"Anybody have a flit I could borrow, in case I do find something?" Or got attacked or eaten or...he was just going to stop thinking about that now.
Not long after he asked, a young woman in bloody clothes - the one the man had stumbled into at the beginning of all this - shuffled forward. "Here, take Gallant," she offered, bidding the silver to go to the bronzerider. "He's not real well-trained or anything, but he'll stay with you, and he's good with messages. Just, umm...take care of him for me?"
"Sure, of course." He reached up to his shoulder wher the flit had landed and scritched it lightly. "I'll bring him back. Thanks a lot."
"You're welcome!" the younger rider chirped, waving at her pet as Set'al grabbed a glowbasket from one of the tables.
Now that he had everything he needed - more or less - he nodded at the women and flashed a smile to conceal his nerves. "I'll be back soon." He left out the 'hopefully,' instead turning to regard Malvren's wingleader. "Z'fer! Don't let anything happen to them."
And off he went through what was left of the party, through the perimeter of dragons, passing Pipith on the way. Are you sure this is wise, Mine?
Not really, no, but I'm doing it anyway. He had told Narisa she had a slightly rusty Runner at her service, and it was time to go for a little run.

Group B - Fire Fighting
Fire: 16 - 5 = 11
Tags to - Wykla, F'law, Others in the fire brigade.
Throwing another bucket of water on the fire he was pleased to see that it was being doused quite steadily and with most of that danger taken care of he took a moment to wipe his brow and glance to Wykla as she spoke to him. The fire had been the most immediate threat but it was not the only threat and a tunnelsnake and possibly felines loose in the Weyr along with who knows what injured was also something that needed to be dealt with.
"Send them to seek the injured..and look for signs of a tunnelsnake..or felines. We have to help whoever's wounded but I'd like to catch whatever beast has started this too." He answered her.
'Zurith and his will help with the fire.' Plexith informed D'lin and D'lin looked over to catch sight of F'law giving him a nod of thanks as he went to work. 'Everything good back at the base camp?'
'There have been no reports of trouble so far.'
It was new that D'lin was grateful to hear, they had split forces because they did not have a choice but that didn't mean he wasn't worried about those he had left behind. "Alright guys, Lets finish putting this fire out so we can find the beast and help the wounded." He encouraged those around him.

Aerith lifted her head to look at the buildings as Courath relayed her message. Peering through one of the nearby windows though it was hard to see in the smoke and the gloom of night. 'I cannot see anything inside...But it is hard in the smoke. Did they say it was hiding within or just passing through?' She asked the little green.
She did not think that either she or Courath could fit into the building - at least not without causing significant damage. A wher perhaps could do it..but most likely humans would have to clear it...Aerith rather hoped to find the beast had just been passing through.

[Kleos / Moriath - Fire! / Tag Tyeth, golds & Asoth] The combined efforts of the people who had already been at the site of the blaze and those who had rushed from the party to help were finally paying off. Scooping up another bucket of water the sooty and mildly singed wingleader of Dauntless hastened into one of the buildings that had been ablaze and hurled the liquid over a heap of still burning something. The water hissed and sizzled in the heat but the flames died,and Kleos staggered back out of the charred and soggy structure, coughing and wiping sweat from her brow. (Fire: 11 - 11 = 0) she passed to Moriath as she moved to the trough of water and scooped up handfuls first to gulp down thirstily and then to splash her face; she didn't think she had been burned at all, but the proximity to the flames had certainly heated her skin uncomfortably.
Moriath passed on to Tyeth, the golds and also to Asoth. Shoving past another stubborn tree she added;

As the last of the flames were doused Carltis dropped his bucket and turned back to Rochelle with a smirk. "Steam? Well! You're really on fire with the witty comebacks aren't you? Come on, let's see what we can find out about this tunnelsnake."
Turning around he grabbed the nearest person by the sleeve and gave them a hard look. "So what the bloody hell's going on around here then?"
The confused and sooty person blinked and shrugged at him; he'd seen a tunnelsnake - well glimpsed one - and everyone had been panicking and that had knocked over a lantern.
Carltis grunted and released him. "Well that's about much use as a butter fireguard," he muttered to nobody in particular.

By the time she returned with a fresh load of water there were no more flames visible, but she dumped it over the building that had been burning hottest all the same; fire was a tricky thing after all.
Banking away the bulky green sought a spot to land, and set down her trough carefully before padding back towards the centre of the commotion. The first person she spotted was gently questioned but they had no useful information for her and so she nosed them gently along with her to the main gathering; it wasn't safe to be out alone for a little human.
the scarred green rumbled, addressing the dragons, whers and humans that had left the party.

"Don't get all fired up on me, this is supposed to be professional." Rochelle made a face, stuck out her tongue to get rid of some imagined bits of ash on it. A few bits of hair singed during the fire, the ends, but she didn't notice. They weren't on fire at any rate. "Your professional Harper skills are wonderful."
Casual snark and she approached one of the sootfaced women. The woman had no information, just shaking and crying about the fire and ugh. Someone else swooped in to cuddle and steer her to the infirm.
"...clearly," she muttered, returning to Carltis. "I was not meant to be a Harper."
The glassmith frowned at the people nearby, trying to find one not to cry at her.

Ugh, no more fire. Siata and others doused it out and in the corner of her eyes, she saw Kleos washing off her face a bit. Satisfied the person she knew was alive and unscorched, siata jogged to her wher. He happened to be flopped next to what she assumed to be a weyrbrat, her teeny hands patting above his eyepatch.
"Hey there, sprogglet." Siata crouched down, eyeing her up. The girl squinted back up at her with a snotty sniffle her face half covered with soot. The other half had a familiar slide to it - a wher lick. "Siask didn't scare you, did he?"
The little girl shook her head quickly, rubbing at her nose. "Nuh-uh. But-but there's a tunnelsnake an' - an' that's what started the fire." She hiccuped. "People knockin' over lamps and being upset an' stuff."
"Ahhh. That's good you weren't hurt hough." Siata propped her chin on her knees, scanning the child for lies about injuries. Siask rumbled. Blood about, but not the childs. "He's gonna stay with you for a little bit, 'kay? He loves eating tunnel snakes."
And people. But the kid didn't need to know that.
"Kleos?" The smithy called out, turning and heading back to the female wingleader. "I have a kid saying some people flipped serious tits over a tunnelsnake and knocked over some lamps. Don't know if anyone else reported it?"
She paused, looking around once she neared. "...is the only mighty leaders out here you and the guy I ran into with the bronze my boy dislikes? Where are the other bronze head honchos?"

Tawny Moriath passed on to Tyeth, the golds and also to Asoth. Shoving past another stubborn tree she added; ((using your post as a reference; Team A Green Astarteth and Browns Brynth & Iwieth, V'tur and Kallista for humans; rolling 2d6 for Brynth)) AstartethAstarteth stayed close to Moriath, trying to help scent out the felines others has scented. She knew the scent well from her own past but somehow tonight, it seemed elusive. She moved down lower, knowing that the cats liked to stay in the shadows. Moriath, would it be good for us small ones to go into smaller spaces? Should we look for caves?BrynthBrynth launched himself into the air, following the red and her crew. He had gotten a good whiff of the feline that had bounced into him, and was doing his best to track that. But for some reason, it was hard to track and the shrubs and trees thick. His body was too thick to allow him into smaller places and he rumbled his frustration. He would get that feline who dared to attack him!IwiethIwieth started out near Asoth but moved out towards the left, trying to flush out any beast that would be hiding. As he landed and began to to move around, the brown noticed the blue trying to get the attention of someone or some dragon. V'tur. Question the wherhandler. I think his blue catches a scent.V'turHe nodded to his companions as he tried to keep up with what was going on. Fires and felines, he was getting too old for this. With the dragons flying overhead and ground hunting, he tried to track any signs of the felines but all the signs seemed messed up somehow. No clear tracks, no fur left behind, and he couldn't see any blood even with a glow. When Iwieth made contact, he nodded and walked over to the blue wherhandler. "I'm V'tur. My Iwieth says your boy has caught scent of something. We can go back to the gold riders or follow him in."

Kindra nodded to Set'al "Thank you Bronzerider" she said, giving him a smile. When he asked for a flit she called Fury back to her "Take Fury, she's bigger than a silver and she's very well trained" she said after hearing another rider offer up her silver. "be careful Set'al, don't try and tackle anything you find by yourself" she added before he moved off, hoping she hadn't made the wrong decision by sending him alone "Have Pipith stay in touch with Suunath!" she called after him.
Suunath rumbled "Thank you Moriath, we thank Yours and those with her for being well prepared" she said politely, passing the message onto Kindra about the crimson heading with a brown, following the Felines. "Why on earth are they the only two?" she muttered. She looked at the gathered riders and faces and frowned, sure they were safe here but it didn't seem like a good idea for them to have just two dragons looking for Felines, from what she had heard they sometime had large groups. "RIDERS!" she called loudly, "There are two brave dragons looking for the felines alone, any of you with able dragons that ARE NOT Weyrlings, come forward, we need a team to go out and join Moriath and Asoth in the hunt for felines" she called, having no clue about the others that had joined them, Suunath had told her only Moriath and Asoth were there. She Glared around her, daring any to ignore her. Sure they could not volunteer but shaffit she WOULD be heard. "Any Wherhandlers here to join them?" she asked too, Whers were vicious .. and if there were humans involved with the felines, Whers could do what Dragons couldn't to deal with them.
