A low growl rumbled through the vampire's throat at these insults against him. Still, he worked to remain steadfast in his decision. "Afraid? Hardly. To kill you would be a waste of my time and power. As for Ryn, he is more of a child than a man. Not even worth the comparison."

Rosalie smiled, and set the bottle at the vampire's feet. "You are a hard one to trick. Katsu would be proud." She gave the man a bow, which is something she hardly does for anyone and walked back to Tuomas. She bent down and whispered something in his ear, before exiting the pool area and heading back to the castle.

As soon as the bottle was set on the ground, Malphas rushed over to it. He picked it up and cradled it much the way a newborn would be held.
Luferius rolled his eyes at Malphas' behavior, though the girl's manner confused him as well. He shot a questioning look to Tuomas.
The youth held up his hands, not sure what to say, though his face became pale as Rosalie's words finally sunk in.

Itotia raised an eyebrow at the conversation and moved herself to the pool edge, rolling up her pant legs to not soak them as she dangled her feet in the water. She stared into the pool, seeming to almost look through it, as it rippled under her stare.

Watching Rosalie leave, Ari's face showed deep concern. She had seemed so sad. Tuomas's reaction had only made her more concerned. Turning to Luferius, she tugged at his shirt.
"That wasn't very kind of you. I mean, a drinking challenge probably wasn't the best idea but you didn't have to threaten her life or insult Ryn."
She lowered her gaze as she thought about it more.
"Well, I know Ryn was also wrong with threatening the guests too, and he really shouldn't have hurt Malphas like that either..."
She paused, knowing that the little argument she had was sounding more and more pathetic.

Luferius turned around to face Ari, giving a small bow in the process. "I am sorry if my actions have offended you, my queen, but you need not defend such individuals that have also taken actions that are less than desirable." He glanced coldly in Ryn's direction before continuing. "However, I shall abide by your wishes in this matter." He rose back up and took his former position at her side.

Aoibheann looked over the queen. She studied her carefully and with interest.
So this was the newest ruler of Rosencroix. She would make an good queen, if she could over come some things. she thought.

Ryn reverted from his Shadow Dragon form to his humanoid form. The Chain that was linked to Ari's leg was still firmly wrapped around his right arm.
"Ari, If you don't mind, I'd like to speak to you up near the hot spring."

Ari looked down at the chain before turning to Ryn.
"I don't mind. Even if I did, I don't have much choice."
She smiled, hoping that he would take her last remark as a joke.

Luferius frowned, not trusting Ryn in the slightest. Still, the queen had already agreed to speak with him and he would not go against her wishes. Crossing close to Ryn, the vampire glared at him sternly. He allowed his thoughts to flow into the man's head. "I will be watching carefully."
