That's great that your momma survived, luv. :>
I actually had a cousin who suffered from Leukemia. It finally took her life.... sometime last year? She was only... uh... 13? 14? I can't remember anymore..

And, congratulations! That's awesome to hear your mom was able to beat it! While I don't currently know anyone with cancer, I have known people who had it before. One lady from my old church beat colon cancer, but she got breast cancer a few years ago.
One of my uncles had cancer around his... upper intestines.. but they found it too late and it spread like a firestorm. He didn't make it past 6 weeks.. never even made it into chemo....
I also know someone who had leukemia. It wasn't the leukemia that got him though. He had been getting ready for a bone marrow transplant, and he caught a bad case of pneumonia..
but yay for your mom! That's so awesome.. and I bet you feel relieved... :3

Glad your mom is okay. My best friend went through lukemia when he was 5. The radiation fried his body though, so he still gets sick a lot and he has a lot of dental/bone problems.
But if his is in remission for 15 yrs, your mom can surely make it as well. Expecially with all the advances they made. I wish you and her luck.

Congrats to your moms recovery, and I hope she stays in good health!
My mom also found out she had breast cancer 2 years ago and had surgery along with radiation. So far so good.

What wonderful news! We just found out that my Pat's cancer is in remission as well so we know what a joy it is!
