"...Hrm..." Ikari muttered, thinking for a moment.
'A 17 year-old kid...sleeping in the same home as a 14 year old girl. Thats a bit suspicious...' he thought, shaking it off, '...Eh, then again I was sleepin' in Riku's home and the kids 'bout as young as her. And he's got an even younger sister.'
Ikari looked back at her, "...I suppose you don't mean you're offering me the room?" he asked, just to be sure he wasn't jumping to conclusions.

Maybe the fact people didn't hire him often due his disability had somethin' to do with it...
