October gives him a rather sweet look and uses his grip to pull Avery down to look him in the eyes.. "your coming back though right.... because I have an awful lot of money.. and not alot to spend it on...."
He let go of him and settled back in his chair to give Christian a rather baleful look...

Christian blinked, then backed up a bit. He didn't like the look he was given, or the way the guy was treating this person.

Sami sighed softly, giving Bren a look. "Let me worry about the omens you see-- and you worry about the affairs of this city. Focus on the Sabbat and on the shadows before you."

He almost smacked October as he treated him like that but he stopped himself. The promise of money was a very tempting one and he wasn't new to someone getting rough with him cause he had pushed their buttons a bit to hard.
Straightening up he turned "Nah man I can get that drink now just had to make sure he didn't want to come along is all." he said as he moved out of arms range of October "Besides it's just a drink and I'll be back before he even notices I am gone."
His last comment was for October's sake and nobody elses. He didn't know where that had come from but he kept chanting the word money over and over again in his head to keep him from doing something he would regret.
He walked over to where Christian was and patted him on the shoulder "Shall we?"

Bren shrugged, "The Sabbat is not a threat....at least, not a big one. One of their bigger people moved to the city...and they are busy with him trying to assume power and authority over them to really be a problem to me. As for the shadows..."
He looked at Adam, "Did you find some people?"
Adam nodded, "Oh, yeah...Want me to get them?"
Christian nodded a bit, "Alright...so long as I'm not causing trouble..." He looked at the bar. "Crap...he's there. Can we wait until that bartender leaves? The young one with the black hair?"

Saskia picked up the glass that had been placed before her. "Either would suit me at the moment" she replied darkly. Swirling the glass briefly, she raised it to her lips and down it all in a single swallow. She winced as the liquid burned a path down her throat. An instant later warmth spread through the entirity of her petite frame, dulling the incessant ramblings in her head for the moment.
Daedalus had sinced moved from Saskia's shoulder, and now sat sprawled upon the bar. Conviently he had seated himself beside a bowl of peanuts, which h had promptly commenced eating.

Sami blinked at that. People. People weren't necessarily good. They weren't necessarily bad either, but... "I hope you know what you're doing," she sighed, shuffling her tarot cards restlessly.

October brought the book back up and shoved his glasses back on his face. Sighing he settled in to read, but instead he found his eyes watching Avery as he wooed the young artist..
yeah... that was irksome...

Stopping when Christian stopped he smiled and replied "Yeah sure man we could always hit the boys room so he don't see you. He been bad news to you in the past?" He asked as he started to direct the other young man away from the bar and towards the bathroom.
He could feel the stare eating into his back but it wasn't his fault the other guy didn't want to go to the bar right now so the blond bombshell would simply have to deal.

"Uhh...no...I've only met him once. But I know what he's up to," Christian stumbled a bit when he was dircted a different way. "He's looking for people to help him...a mission of sorts...I heard someone when I came in."
Bren shrugged, "Always true, but I know how to handle things...and..." He stopped and saw Moriko coming down the stairs, glaring. "And I'm in trouble...I have to go. Adam, send them up soon..."
He moved out from behind the bar and headedover to Moriko, then followed her back upstairs, apparently trying to calm her down.
Adam smirked, "And that's why Bill ended up cheating on Hilary."

Sami smiled at Adam. "Dominating personalities can get in the way of one another. I think perhaps I should retire back to my own haven for now though... Ain will be getting lonely."
She sighed softly. She didn't want to leave the bar just yet-- for all of its noise and people, it still held a charm she didn't understand. But Samirah knew when Ain needed her-- as he did now.
"I'll be back later," she murmured to Adam before rising and slipping from the club.

October sat up straight and slammed his book down.. growling under his breath and looked at Rosemary and slouched down low.
Oh yeah.. he made an advance and the guy looked at him like he was insane..
obviously HE didn't mind hitting on people he had just met..
October gritted his teeth and stood up pushing his precious book over to Rosemary, shoving his glasses up he stalks over to Avery and grabs him by the arm again..
This time when he leaned over to whisper in his hear he growled "oh.. so you can go off with someone you just met but I can't..."
Pulling away he looked at Christian.. "excuse us.. we have something he need to talk about.."
Jerking Avery along behind him, in his vice grip of doom he hauled the other man into the bathroom.
