"I can deal with pain. The best thing to do is simply not to focus too much on it. Accept it as your body telling you that it is damaged, and leave it at that. I find that's quite a useful philosophy," Morgan said. sitting in chair near the table, and chatting with Blair. "Heh, I've got my old sensei to thank for that little tidbit," he added chuckling.

The artist continued to fill in the Hindu symbol in black on Blair's back as he spoke with Morgan.
"That's an interesting way of looking at it. Oh, I just remembered! You put up that bulliten on the fridge, right? About setting up a concert? Well....I don't mean to sound conceited or brag or anything, but I've been told I can sing....and have been in a few bands over the years. I'd definately be interested in joining in."
He smiled and then it turned into a grimace as he remembered the needle and the pain. Taking his mind off it helped, and he would need to thank Morgan later for talking with him.

"That's great! Now, I just need to find someone who can play drums," Morgan said. "Have any suggestions?"
Once I'm done with this, and I've checked out the weapon shop, I can look into renting some equipment. Performers or not, there won't be much of a show unless we've actually got instruments to perform with, he thought.

The artist told him he could get up and Blair went over to the mirror and inspected it with a smile.
"Drum players? No, I don't know any around here...in fact, I barely know half the people....and even then, it's just their names that I know. I'm still rather new, ya know?"
The man said Morgan could sit down to get his tattoo started after Blair paid him. Blair promptly paid the artist and thanked him for his wonderful services.
"I was thinking...after you get yours done...want to try to find that weapon shop everyone was talking about on the way over? I'm no weapon specialist but I know that I want to learn how to weild SOMETHING...Heh."

Morgan lay down on the table, stretching his arm out so that the artist could work on the whole tattoo. "The weapon shop? Sure, I was heading down there anyways," Morgan said. He winced slightly as the needle pierced the skin. It wasn't as bad as he though it'd be. It was still painful, though, but by thinking not about the needle, and more about the weapon shop, he was able to take his mind off the pain. Of course, it still hurt like hell.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some time later...
Morgan paid the man, and examined the tattoo in the mirror. Just what he'd wanted, a large black dragon was now spread across his back and down his right arm. "Most excellent. What do you think, Blair?" Morgan said, collecting his shirt, and holding it under his other arm. The tattooed area would be sore for a while, but knowing his healing abilities, it wouldn't be more than a few hours.

"Ohio is about as great as a hole in the head. Or so my mother puts it." Corky said, looking at the Jet Ski very skeptically. "Is this thing sanitary? If I get AIDs, I swear to god..." It looked like one of the newer jet skis, which was good, because Courtney didn't take jacked-up old ones. It was very classic, just plain red, white and black, the way Corky liked things. It was they way she liked her cars (black Mercedes), her house (white and a primary color), and most of her clothing. The only thing that should sparkle is million-dollar jewelry.
“As soon as I’m eighteen, I’m going to Columbia. That’s in New York, FYI.” Corky had never really though much about collage, but Columbia was a major pick for right now. It was in the city, it was good enough, and it was twelve hours from home. What could be better? “Et toi?”
|| Can you tell I figured out how to work the colors and fonts? XDD ||

((Seems like you're having fun with the colors and fonts...to much fun maybe wink ))
Victoria laughed at Corky's paranoidness about the jet skis. Sure, other people may have used it, but she could see no possible way to get AIDS from it. The very worse you could would be a sore and soggy bottom.
"Yeah, I know where Columbia is," she said discractedly to Corky. Was it just her or did Corky think everyone else around her was a complete moron? Anyway, New York sounded cool, she had grown up in the middle or the city and olved every mintue of it. Interesting people, and places and just the smell of the city brought a smile to her face. The country or the beach was nice, but it only made her appreciate the city that much more when she got back. "Yeah," she sighed, "Somewhere in New York is probably where I'll move to." She fidgeted in her jet ski a little bit. "as for collage of my future. I really don't know yet."

{I'll assume that Blair thinks it's cool, so I can continue with my posting}
Morgan headed down the walkway to the weapon shop. He kept his shirt tiead around his waist, as the tattooed area was still quite tender. The shopkeep at the store didn't even bat an eyelash at Morgan walking in without a shirt.
Without missing a beat, Morgan quickly made his way to the Japanese items. While browsing the racks, he found a beautifully ornamented sword, with the words "Masamune" carved in Japanese into the hilt. Though he doubted it was an original Masamune blade, the craftsmanship was superb. After asking the shopkeep permission, he gently removed it from it's rack, and then the blade from the scabbard, drawing it around him in a smooth circle. He had found exactly what he wanted. He examined some of the other items in the glass, and picked out several smaller daggers as well. He paid the man, and walked out of the store, his new blade wrapped in cloth, as well as the daggers.
"Now, to find everyone else," Morgan murmured. He said goodbye to Blair, and set off in search of Penance. He found her talking with Jacen. "Hey, you two. So, what's new?" he said.
{See you tomorrow, y'all!}

"I never thought you'd mention food," Jacen said as he reached up and touched Penance's hand, "I didn't get much for breakfast, and I'm nearly famished....hey!" Jacen noticed the dagger out of Penance's purchases. "Awesome dagger. I see you have rather exquiste tastes when it comes to weaponry."
"Of course, and where do you want to get food at?," Penance asked when Morgan showed up and joined the party.
"Hey you two. What's up?," he asked.
"Lunch," Jacen said matter-of-factly. "Don't know where we're going, but damn...I'm just about up for anything...save sushi."
"You don't like sushi?," Penance asked teasingly.
"Well.....people like me have to worry about food poisoning. You see, most of us don't have a healing ability to keep that kind of thing in check."
Penance squeezed Jacen's shoulder and gave him a rather messy raspberry, sending spittle soaring to the back of his neck.
"Ewww....thanks, kiddo," Jacen said as he stepped back, and rested his arm around Penance's shoulder. "But seriously, wherever you guys choose to go eat is perfectly acceptable with me."

"Oopse sorry," Penny said wiping saliva off her own face and led the group of she, Jamie, Blair and Jacen down the boardwalk. Penny waved goodbye to Regina and Porter who had gone off to have some alone time [OOC: I have to edit a quite lengthy aim post tomorrow for that part there.]
"We shall eat..." Penny looked around and randomly picked something, "Here. Nice... Habachi."
"Ha- what?" One of the guys asked as she opened the door letting them all know they weren't getting out of lunch and had to try something new.
"It's fun. No suishi involved unless you are brave," She trailed them in or tried to before Jacen took the door from her and pushed her in ahead. She put her arm around his waist and continued telling them about their meal, "We go sit at those tables around a stove. The highly entertaining chef comes out and cooks our meals for us... it's all about teh show. Usually involves flying shrimp and things being lit on fire for fun. It's like dinner with the Brotherhood next door but less lethal." [OOC and if you haven't been to a habachi they're usually really fun]
"Come on guys, when in Rome," She grinned at come concerned expressions, "And if you don't like it. I will not pick another place for anybody to eat the entire time we're here."

OOC: Unfortunately, Taiya can't get online for the next two weeks, so I'll just end our last exchange and get Pietro back into things.
IC: Pietro growled. She beat him by .0034 seconds. All because halfway out of Tokyo, he stopped to look into one of those little dens he'd been hearing about, and ended up seeing something so perverse he couldn't bear to even remember it clearly. All he knew was that it slowed him down for a full two seconds, long enough to get left behind.
"Fine," he muttered to Sasha, who was ecstatic that her cousin won. "The b***h cheated... we'll rematch later."
And with that, he left them alone, running to a secluded part of the beach, and laying down to tan. He figured that it was a nude beach. It was secluded enough at least. Those old people gawking at him were probably jealous to see a body that wasn't all saggy. And those kids crying... probably just too hot. Stupid kids...

[OOC: Reading about Pietro gives me endless joy.]
Jamie sat down at the table. He'd been to one of these places when he was still on the road, and he was excited to be at one again. Plus, it would be twice as fun if it was with people he actually knew. "Hey Morgan, how's your band thing going?"

"Well, Blair volunteered to sing. He mentioned it at the tattoo place. Speaking of tattoos..." Morgan replied. He turned around for everyone he was with to see the dragon that was now spread across his back and down his right arm.
"What do you guys think?" he asked, grinning as he looked over his shoulder at whatever their reactions would be. "I got a few new blades too. I'll show you guys later," he added, tapping the bundle of cloth at his side.

OOC: Moren, i can't tell by what you wrote but Morgan is in the resturant now with Blair, Jamie, Pen and Jacen. Right? smile
IC:
"That's pretty cool, Morgan," Penny said and put down her menu, "Well, if anybody decides to attack the beach house, we'll be well armed."
She started tying straw wrappers in a knot out of needing to do something with her hands. Quitting her cigarette habit was difficult. Usually in restaraunts she was able to keep her fingers busy with that. Of course, she was totally distracted at the moment by the suddent cold sensation pinned to her back and squeeked, "Dammit that's cold."
"Stopped your hands didn't it," Jacen shook the water off his hand and put the ice cube back into an empty cup sitting in front of them.
She couldn't argue with that point, "Oh you'll get yours." And then proceeded to order steak, rare, when the waitress came around to find out what they wanted.

Danielle finished her coffee and walked out of the the cooffee shop with her bag and surf board, and continued walking down the board walk. She saw Penny, Jacen, Morgan, and Jamie, in a restraunt through a class window, so she desided to stop by. "Hey guys." She said walking over to there table with her surfboard.
