KTweirdchick (Hence why I have at least one donation letter from every month last year) Wow, I do that too! I buy them based on the items, I'll always buy two, one to sell after the month is over, and one to store. If there's an item I like, then I'll buy one or two more if I like both. But I have one of every letter since November 2004... Except May 2005, for some reason I missed that, I think I was out of money or I just forgot, or something like that. However, the letters have been disappointing me with items lately. I haven't liked an item since the sno yeti plush in november 2005. Does anyone one else agree? Or is it just me...

Its a rarity for me to get interested in those donation items. I think they had a winner though with that Chyaku Norisu scarf. I love that thing. Its probably the only donation item I actually bothered to go after. Though I'm also interested in that Yeti. 3nodding
I guess the dissapointment depends on taste. I think overall gaia items are starting to look really good qualitywise compared to past items...though it does look like they're having a tough time figuring out items to give.
But those new hairstyles are friggin awesome...

Lol, it's a different story for me. I agree with you guys about most of the donation items, but there are quite a few that I do like. I'm currently trying to quest for past donation items actually, like the CN scarf, robo puppy, and lunar cloak.
Some people actually think that the new donation items cannot compare in terms of quality to the 2003 items. Over time it's inevitable I guess, because the list of ideas may shrink as more items are being released.
But overall, I agree with Junimaia's point that it depends on taste. And I like the new hairstyles as well! ^^

I have a question on getting good stuff. How do you accumulate enough gold to buy anything good. I want a couple things that are in the 10,000's, and I have no idea how to get my gold up that high. Any suggestions?

Go through the Gaia site a whole lot, cause every page you go to earns you 1 gold. As for more gold....well....I pollwhore. Heh. 10 gold per poll.

Who celebrated St. Patricks Day? My friends and I celebrated by wearing green (of course). And then drank green tea/sprite concoction with dinner and ate St. Patricks Day themed cookies biggrin

I didn't really do anything this year. But there were green leprechauns and 4-leaf clovers spray-painted all over campus yesterday. razz

Well, our St. Patrick's dinner was a little bit of a disaster... I won't go into it. But you're right Juni, the hairstyles are going over really well. I remember when I saved up and bought this hairstyle, a lot of the female avatars had it. But now that new hairstyles have come along, I see a lot of the Curly. MY prediction is that eventually people will get tired of some of the new ones like when that hair over-the-eye came along and then went fast. And red, I get a lot of my gold from buying letters and selling them, but if you can't do it, I agree with Juni, pollwhore it. Another good, but sometimes hard way, is to make a shop. I made one but it's on hiatus now since I don't have much time for it now.
