B-but! It was a mental typo. I dunno how that constitutes as a typo.... emo

Haha, yeah. I always feel weird when typing Wei's name because of the many rhymes n' all the "anyways" n' crap. Like when I typed "Anyway, Wei," I was all 'ohhhh ******** gonk " 8D;;; ))

Black eyes blinked as this man, -- boy, whatever he was, for it was rather difficult to tell with the way he acted -- whom he had never befor met, practically tackled Wei. Dark orbs widened and a frown set into the teen's lips, though he did his best to wipe the expression from his features. He instinctively didn't like this one -- probably because of how he was acting towards Wei. And he reaked of cat -- which Ea, of course, did not usually mind due to his affinity with Liao, but in this circumstance made for another reason for the ivory-haired teen to be irked with this charcoal-haired apparition of pure annoyance. Pale brows furrowed over dark eyes as a hefty scowl settled into the mongoose's lips, his eyes flickering from the cat and then to Wei, and expression on his features that clearly said that he was both surprised and, surprisingly enough, pissed. Jealous? Hell no. Or... maybe. A little. Wait, no. He was jst pissed -- there was no way in hell that he would get jealous over Wei no matter.... no matter how handsome he was or--!! The teen cut himself off at that train of thought, a flush of both inner embarrassment and outward anger filtering onto his pale cheeks.

At the male's questioning of Wei's plans, Ea found himself to be quite snapped. "Wei, I'm gonna go shopping," he muttered, his voice sounding decidedly irked. One pale, slender hand reached out to grab the wrist of his half-brother and he led the teen along behind himself. "C'mon, Liao," he muttered. "Let's have fun without the big bad wolf-- er, snake-- 'kay?" He gave the boy a misleadingly bright grin. He couldn't let Liao know what he was feeling, after all -- he wasn't supposed to be even remotely attracted to Wei. Had he been in other circumstances, it still would have been doubtful that he conveyed his anger to the two with matchingly dark hair -- after all, he didn't want to let Wei know just how much it pissed him off to see the man with someone else.

((Last post before dinner! I'll be on after, tho! 8D ))

Sebastien flushed at this (very handsome) stranger's comment. "E-eh, thanks..." he mumbled somewhat shyly, on hand raising to tuck back pale locks behind the curve of one of his ears. He blinked slowly, long, pale golden lashes glimmering slightly in the cloudy lighting of the overcast day. It was quite... cold out. His cheeks and nose were already a heavy cherry color from the chill -- the prospect of a warm, cozy cafe was welcome indeed, particularly when somebody else was treating!

A light, slightly impish grin on his lips, Sebastien responded, "You needn't, really, since it was my fault... but I really would like something warm to drink right now, so I'll take you up on it!" Green eyes glinted slightly with the brightness of intelligent curiosity.

"So, do you know any good places around here? I don't usually stay in the shopping center, save for the book store," the boy murmured thoughtfully. He really was quite the bookworm. Really, he should be wearing his glasses right now so that he would be able to properly discern colors, but he simply hated wearing those dreadful frames and hated nearly so much having to stick his eyes with contacts! And so the boy opted to venture into the world partially blind, though only in the aspect of color.

Kaya walked the streets of the city in a pair of low riding jeans and a flared green sweater that seemed to become baggier in all the places where it should have become tighter. The word "SEXY!" was written in glittering red thread across the back in thick, bold lettering. He reached the nearby bookstore after a short walk and passed a man conversing with another teenage boy. The fourteen year old with the silver-white locks and black bangs watched them for a brief moment with mismatched eyes before he continued onward.

"There's a great coffee shop that way," Roux said, pointing towards the heart of the shopping center. He dreaded the thickening crowd he could see over there but SlowBurn was his favorite spot. It might not be crowded since most of the people seemed to be in a hurray. A frenzied shopper would not take the time to sit and drink a warm beverage, surely.
"The owner hosts open mike nights for poets and book club meetings. He's an incredibly amiable fellow. Plus, it smells nice."
Smell was very important to the silver haired man. Even in human form that sense was very powerful. Standing here, right at this moment, he could smell many things; a passing woman smelled of dog and cat- obviously a pet lover, hovering in the air was the smell of coats -leather, wool, cotton- and a dominating taste of winter- a sharp smell that bit you with every breath- was the undertone. There was pine, cooking odors from the restaurants, rubber, car exhaust. What really got his attention was the smell of other shape-changers. A passing woman smelled of hay and that special something that all anthros had. She must have noticed his smell because she turned her head quickly. Their eyes met, acknowledging one another, and they both smiled. It was always good to know "one of us" was around.
He had a feeling the boy was "one of us" too. He smelled like water, and though Roux could not place the species, he was sure the golden colored fledgling was a shape-changer. If he could only figure out what kind.

Kaya was returning from the bookstore with a book under his arm, one that he was sure to keep from prying eyes considering it's content. He knew how much ridicule he would have to endure if people saw a fourteen year old boy walking around with a Romance novel.

As he walked towards the nearest coffee shop for a Latte, he once again passed the strange man and the younger looking boy. Now birds aren't known for there sense of smell but rather for their sensing of things that aren't what they seem. And he could feel something inside of him saying something was off about them both. Nothing bad, but something they weren't willing to tell. He walked over however to ask for directions, especially since he hadn't been to this place in quite a while. A few things had changed since the last time.

"Hello. Can I bother you to point me towards the nearest coffee shop?" he inquired delicately of Roux and the other boy, attempting to hide the way his hair ruffled against the cold. He wouldn't have worried about it except that they were inside and there was no wind to cause it.

Green eyes widened a fraction. Ea was actually going to leave him to fend off Chang?! Couldn't he see that the snake, in no way, wanted to hang around the cat for the rest of the day? Growling, Wei turned a blazing glare on the dark-haired feline. He swore, if Ea was still mad at him come night time because of Chang he would strangle the cat. "Get off me," he hissed, green eyes narrowing as the cat purred something unmistakable against his ear. "What is wrong with you? Kitty hasn't gotten any action lately, you're having to resort to your, otherwise, enemies? How cute," the snake murmured as he attempted to get out of the other's death grip.

"Nnn~ You smell like a...like...not normal," Chang mumbled, making a sort of pained noise as Wei shoved him against the wall. Rubbing the back of his head, the cat frowned. "b*****d."

[[If Ea really wants to go shopping alone with Liao that's fine... I don't care. XD]]

((No, he doesn't. At all. 8D;;; ))

Pale hands had slowly curled into fists and a bright flush was deffinately prevailant on the teen's cheeks as his smiled soured into a deffinate scowl. He. Was. Not. Happy. At. All. He was quite obviously fuming to himself. Liao glanced up at his, unknown to him, older brother, his gray eyes surprisingly observant for once.

"Ea, are you.... alright?" the boy asked, a small frown on his lips.

"Yeah. Fine," the teen replied, though he was deffinately not so. Black eyes glanced up to the teen and then back down the hallway. "H-hey, Liao.... I forgot something in the room. Wait here for a sec so I can get it, 'kay?" he asked, a rather forced grin on his lips. Liao nodded slowly and Ea took off back down the hallway, his expression set.

And, of course, he had to return at the most inoportune of times -- right when Wei had slammed Chang against the wall. Black eyes widened, a bright rosy hue bruning in the pale teen's cheeks. "O-ooh. Wei, I guess you'll be too busy to shop with us today, will you?" he asked, his smiled deceivingly bright though his tone entirely betrayed his true emotion.

Kaimerra paced the streets of the city, glancing curiously around nearby corners whenever the chance presented itself to take an unsuspecting person by surprise. Nothing yet. There was no one who appeared wealthy enough for him to steal from."Damn!" he muttered as he went on his way. "I don't like doing this but i don't have a choice right now." the teen muttered, placing delicately skilled fingers upon the sil of a window, which it so happened led into the very building in which Liao, Ea, Wei and the others were in.

A quick jerk and the window was slammed open with a loud bang and a rush of frigid air that would most likely alert everyone in the building that something was amiss. Kai thought no one was home out of his desperation though.

As for Sebastien, his sense of smell was basically shot -- or, at least, it was much weaker on land than it was in his animal self's natural habitat. Underwater, he could smell many things, and quite well, but the water particles in the air were much thinner and made it much more difficult for him to use that sense. It was a rainy day, however, making the air quite moist. He could sort of smell something about this man. And, besides that, the boy had an inate intuition about himself. It wasn't something that told him "animal! animal!" but something that gave him more a sense of pleasure to be in this man's company -- a feeling of distinct, ungrounded, and odd likeness that made him amicable to this stranger.

Pale green eyes glanced back the way the man gestured, oddly-formed pupils following that hand. The slightly different shape in his pupils was not very noticeable, nor was it great -- it was incredibly subtle. On the other hand, in his half-anthro form his pupils were fully pronounced as being distinctly w-shaped.

He nodded slowly, a rather pleasant smile formed across his large, rosy lips. "That sounds good. I love the smell of baking things!" That, at the very least, made it through to his senses.

As they were addressed by another, Sebastien turned, his usual inquisitive expression in place on his features. "Eeeh? I don't really know one, but this man... this...." He glanced to Roux for a moment, a bit of a sheepish grin on his lips, and mumbled, "E-eh, what's your name -- anyway, he knows where one is," the boy continued, gesturing to Roux.

[[I realize now that what I wrote sounded...not how I wanted it to. Basically Wei just threw Chang off of him and made him hit into the wall, but...yeah, it didn't sound like that. DX]]

"You were the one that just ******** told me you wanted to shop alone. And if you really wanted to know I was just trying to get Chang off of me, I'm not that much of a b*****d... I wouldn't... do anything when--" Green eyes dropped for a split second, "Whatever," he muttered finally, casting a glare at the cat who slowly slunk down the hall, had his ears been out they'd be bent in shame.

"Do you need to get in the room or something?" Wei asked, pressing his coat back down into a less wrinkled state as he slowly stood up with a wince. "Damn cat."

So maybe Ea didn't know Wei all that well. He'd seen the man angry, certainly -- like when he had accidentally brought up the topic of the man's former, and apparently unrequited, love -- but this was a different sort of anger. A cold chill passed through the teen -- one that greatly overshadowed the coldness he had been feeling towards the dark-haired man. Black eyes hand widened and he had shrunk back slightly, gaze unable to meet the other's.

At the mention of getting anything from the room, the pale-haired teen quickly shook his head, dark eyes downcast. His cheeks burned the heavy crimson-red of shame -- shame at his own incredibly illogical jealousy for, now he realised, he had been quite... jealous, or at least angry, when he saw the cat attack Wei like that.

"N-No, Wei...." the teen began meekly, "I don't need to... get anything." He looked uncharicteristically pitiful like that -- head down, eyes averted, hands clasped nervously behind his back as the bright flush brightened across his features.

[[Okay. Do whatever feels best for you, I don't mind. ^w^]]

Haro tensed a bit as Shin bent over to kiss his forehead. The bird wasn't sure when he would get used to someone getting close spontaneously. He was pretty good at keeping calm when he was the starter of said kisses and hugs, but he couldn't help the spark of fear that shot through his head every time the tiger pulled him close. It just reminded him of Wei sometimes... Although the snake would be much more rough with him, everything was always spontaneous, he never gave the small boy any warning before he hauled off and grabbed him.

Heart pounding fiercely at the thought of Wei, the little lovebird nodded a bit before ducking out of the room in order to calm himself as well as find Sparrow. He ought to interrogate him about dates before he left with Shin... Skirting upstairs, careful not to make too much noise for he wasn't sure if the older bird was asleep or not. Opening his door quietly, Haro peeked inside only to find Sparrow sitting on his bed, looking out the window. Sidling up next to the dark haired teen, Haro smiled as Sparrow glanced at him. "Mmm, thanks," the petite teen murmured, giving the other what was supposed to be a hug but with their positioning it ended up being something else entirely. The older bird grinned, laughing a bit as he ruffled shocking locks of hair. "Anytime," Sparrow said evenly, his smile broadening as the little one flopped onto his side with an apology.

"I have a question," the boy murmured against the older bird's side.

"Shoot."

Haro leaned up and over, pressing as fingertip against Sparrow's temple, "Bang." The dark-eyed teen stared up at him with a perplexed look before cracking a smile. "You're amazing," he whispered before allowing the boy to ask his question.

"Nnm, I ask Shin to...to go to lunch with me and stuff, do you think it was a good idea?" He asked, before letting his hand fall, turning his eyes away as the older teen asked how their conversation had gone. "Did you talk about what I think you did?" The love bird mumbled a 'sort of,' before shrugging. "It was fine though, I think it...loosened him up a bit. I think he--" The boy blushed at this, "--allowed himself to...to do what he wanted for a change."

The dark bird smiled a lop-sided grin, "Ah, so he had his way with you?"

Haro shook his head, giggling a bit nervously. "N-no. We just kissed a lot more than we usually do, an' he kept licking me," he added in a quiet tone before sitting up, "Do you think it was a good time to ask?"

Sparrow shrugged, "Who knows."

Haro frowned a bit before sliding off his bed to search for his coat, After finding it in a pile next to the closet, the teen turned back as he shoved an arm through one of the sleeves, "Well, we're going to be gone for a little while," he murmured before slipping on his shoes and slipping downstairs to wait in the foyer.

"Good luck."

[[This was my last post for Haro. XD I think. I can add another one if you want.]]
